    Curt Miller was named Executive Vice President of basketball operations and GM of the Dallas Wings. It didn't say anything about him being the head coach but if he's just GM, he will make the final decision on who becomes the next head coach of the Dallas Wings.

    South Dakota State over Creighton tonight.
    I don't think Indiana was a fluke. I think we already need to re-evaluate how they will do in the Big 10 this year.
    UConn coasted and stopped trying to do transition stuff in the second half. It was a good sign for them that Strong and El Alfy played well.

    • @natureredux1957
      @natureredux1957 Месяц назад +2

      Indiana certainly is no Fluke, it's was just one of those nights where they literally could not throw IT in the OCEAN concerning 3s. Much higher TEAMS almost lost. So no need to already have any need to re-evaluate how they will do in the Big 10 this year.

      @natureredux1957 Месяц назад

      @@written12 Last Season they only lost 5 games Total in the Regular Season. They got blown out by over 30 in their Second games of the season last year. They could not throw it in the Ocean in that game either. They still have the Key Starters outside of Mackenzie Holmes so I don't expect as many wins. But any good shooting 3 point team like Indiana will always be dangerous come the NCAA Tournament. It would be a major upset if they were ranked in the top TEN, they were ranked number #25, so they will be fine.

    Indiana just ran into a team that pressed them from JUMP. Indiana was 3/18 from 3s and shot less then 35% from the field. In Large part due to Harvard pressing them Full Court on Defense basically all blanking game long. Plus on offense, they kept pushing Tempo. Nor do I buy into the Theory that Indiana is far less of team this year since Mackenzie Holmes, their BEST player from last season left and never played One Minute in the WNBA this year due to injury. So Watch out for Seattle Storm, Next year.
    Indiana added star College sharpshooter Shay Ciezki who basically gave them nothing last night. Basically Harvard did what many of the other teams playing ranked teams didn't do, play Tough and Smart Defense in waves the entire Game. I never expected Indiana to have some gaudy Regular Season. They are underrated because they have the 3 Point Shooters that really can shoot. But you know what they say, You live by it so you can Surely Blank by it. Fact is, Indiana should have lost in Regulation by a large Margin. Look at the difference in Free Throw. Indiana shot 22 more free throws. And in Turnovers.

    Wait until UConn plays real competition. We have seen South Carolina play an actual team, so we can assess that team and the team they played. But making any assertion about other teams that are playing low-caliber opponents is pushing it too much.

      UConn usually has one of the top strength of schedules in the nation for non conference play. They can’t help who they play in conference. They do anything but run from competition and high quality opponents. I actually think they have the number 1 SOS this year for non-conference opponents.

      Ice played like a freshman. Her bad habits were on full display. I see her coming off the bench especially when Fudd and Griff get back. Geno hinted that he likes playing small last season. I don't think Patterson will play before Ice when she returns. I hope Caroline retires.
