I'm a fan of the NY Liberty, but Mitchell and Clark stand out as the most exciting duo in the WNBA because they make everyone else seem dull and slow. And that's not an insult to the other players, as their speed is unmatched in women's basketball.
Shanxi, a Provence, is pronounced best as "Shan-shee" with the "a" sound like in "flat". China doesn't really use a long "a" sound much. The Provence name means "West of the Mountains" - essentially shan = mountain and xi = west.
Do not bother. Pinyin is a different pronunciation system. You cannot pronounce Potungua 100% correct using English pronunciation system. Sorry it is not possible. Thus it will sound a little bit different anyway.
Chinese basketball league seasons starts tomorrow. The team owners in China have so much disposable income that they could pay any player what they want, when they want.
Thanks for updating us on Kelsey's China adventures. Would love to see a collective update on the various W stars - and perhaps even the "foreign" players in China, so that we may anticipate potential future W players among the better performing foreigners. Would also love to know the attendance and/or TV audience for these games. NOTE ON PRONOUNCING CHINESE NAMES: If you are a Kelsey fan, let's pronounce her Chinese team name right. As another comment highlighted, due to the unusual alphabetic English rendering of Chinese placenames, Shanxi (which in Chinese is 2 words, Shan and then Xi) is not pronounced "Shanks" but rather it is 2 sounds, first syllable is easy, like Shan in "Ashanti"; when you see "Xi" in "English" Chinese names (which is common because Xi most likely means WEST or WESTERN in the placename), just say "she", so Shanxi is (approximately) "Shan-she".
Not awkward at all it was very endearing big fan of Kelsey, love her. She deserves everything that she is getting for all of her hard work and excellence!
Keep the Kelsey Mitchell content coming. I’d like to hear about Chennedy Carter, Temi Fagbenle, Megan Gustafson, Erica Wheeler, Lyss Smith… I’m sure there are plenty of others
NaLyssa Smith of the Zhejiang Golden Bulls starred in a bench-clearing skirmish during a game in China on Thursday against Inner Mongolia. Saw it on Daily Mail.
You guys prob know already, but it looks like Amazon Prime carries WNBL (Australian league) games. A chance to see some of the overseas prospects like Borlase and Puoch.
I’m not crazy about any W coverage at this point - the league, players and management(and the refs) wore U.S. fans out. But. . . it’s nice to hear that Kelsey will make a nice pot of money there and will delight the fans. Good for Kelsey
Answering your question : the WNBA is no so huge and it's quite easy to know almost all the players, so I would say do/track all of them if possible. You can modulate the time spend on each depending on their "media ranking" so to speak, but it would be nice to have some news from most of them.
@QuitaLovesSports thank you for clearing that up. As for your question, what we would like you to cover: you're doing an amazing job with your coverage. I would like to know about college games, WNBA players overseas, and where can I watch the games.
You have to leave the nation to get this kind of marketing; goodness, well, China is a huge market and a modern place to live. Next thing you know, the American players will make this the league of choice.
With a new coach in place, i think it's possible she'll return to the Fever. Depends on whether her agent and Kelly Krauskopf can agree on a satisfactory salary. Kelsey and Caitlin figured out how to partner effectively on the court and there appears to be good chemistry between them both on and off the court. It took them about a dozen games to build their partnership. Kelsey wasn't used to playing with a good point guard that would find her when she was open, and it took a while for her to get used to expecting the passes. But once they clicked after the Olympic break, they started making magic together on the court.
@JE-IC i think kelsey tells her agent to look elsewhere. Kelsey was labeled a ball hog when the fever lost. As long as she plays for the fever she'll never get the real credit she deserves. She'll get blamed for their losses along with some other players. I bet she's outta there.
Thanks for the update on Kelsey Mitchell. Please keep us updated.
Kelsey has one of the best smiles in the W. So happy for her.
So happy for Kelsey!
She deserves it!!
Thanks for the update on Mitchell. I was so ecstatic when I pulled a numbered K Mitchell autographed Panini card.
nice!
In all seriousness, I think this is WONDERFUL!!!
Another great segment Quita, LEZGO!!!
🫡
Congratulations to Mitchell. Wishing her much success.
Kelsey has a pretty smile. I hope that she gets sponsors when she comes back to the W.
You can bet that

Run and gun offense is exciting for the crowd to watch!
Ugh why does this make me love Kelsey Mitchell even more 😭 she’s great

Kelsey and Caitlin best back due in the league!!!
A Kelsey Mitchell Fan, here in Minneapolis! Loved all the video of Kelsey. Is there anyway we can watch any one game she plays in from the U.S.?
I’d like to know the answer to that question also. Can we watch any of these games here in the US?
I'm very happy for Kelsey! I hope she finds much joy AND financial reward from her time in China!
Thank you for keeping us informed on Kelsey. Would love to hear more of this team. Hope you keep us informed
I tried to find a RUclips video of Kelsey's games but was unsuccessful. Do you know how to access it?
It would be nice to have you cover Grace Berger.
Grace is just an "average" player.
Thank you for the update, KM is special.Hope she stays safe and enjoys herself.
So interesting! Thanks for the content❤
Thanks Quita. Great feature. Can’t wait until you cover Chennedy and Kamilla’s China 🇨🇳 feature. 😊

Great update on Mitchell! I'm curious about Alanna Smith in China.

Thank you for the update 😊
Mitchell is so much better off overseas with pay, respect, and life style.
What about Grace Berger, Temi Fagbenle, Nalyssa Smith
Jonquel Jones will be playing with Sichuan, joining forces with Liz Cambage.
Did Unrivaled not invite JJ?
Kelsey is a quality player and a quality person. I love how the Chinese culture emphasizes warmth and humility instead of aggression and anger.
My favorite players abroad are Kamilla Cardoso (China) and Henny (I'm not sure where over there) !
We need the WWBA… WOMEN WORLD BASKETBALL LEAGUE… go K. Mitchell!!
Another CC believer!!
What sweetheart!!!
Keep these videos coming..
I’m working on it!
Where can we watch the Chinese games?
Grace Berger and Temi :)
Would love to see you cover Chennedy Carter and her play in China.
She's killing it 🩵🤍
November 15th Sichuan’s first game Jonquel Jones and Liz Cambage playing together on the same team.
WOW!
Go Kels more power to you
All of them Quita lol 😂

Can you give on-going commentary on the caliber of international women leagues, and which countries players like to play…
Fenerbache and Mersin will be interesting teams and a great rivalry to watch!!
Kamilla Kordoso, Chennedy Carter, etc.
Can you give updates on Seattle players...thanks
How do u watch kelsey games?
Any info on what they are paying the players this season? Must be a lot if they got Jones and Mitchell to come over.
What is Kristy Wallace is doing this offseason?
Temi Fagbenlay
lol lets go kelsey !!
The you deserve it all. I hoping that you joined the Chicago SKY, but totally understand. God bless you. Go KM❤❤❤❤
Chennedy Carter is playing in China and just won MVP in her first game for something!!
The CC Effect; her teammates getting the attention & them endorsements.
She took over the fever too but they gave all the credit to clark.
I would like to know everything about Kelsey M for sure and also Chennedy Carter- I hope she comes back to play in the WNBA!
Amazing how many of these girls can get their paid dues from playing basketball in China!!! Recognition is key!
Where is Kamila Cordosa and Catliyan Clark
Speed kills in basketball
Who are in the Euro league?
Seems like the players will actually get to play the game instead of dealing with the dirty play in the US and all the activism in the WNBA.
Let's check on Dana Evans in Turkey
Is Chennedy playing in China this off season? I think Aerial Powers is returning to China . . . or is it Turkey?
Yes, I believe Chennedy is playing in China.
Chennedy is playing in China. She just won an MVP in her first game for something.
Powers is always injured. I doubt she's "anywhere".
cardoso in China and the team she is on
Kamilla cardoso
Where are Seattle players
What is Erica Wheeler doing and where is she. Thanks
Playing in Turkey
@ thanks
Hey Kelsey..Just wait we are coming to put you back on the Fever.
How much they getting paid?
Last I heard was a milly.
$500k plus🤑
unknown prior to clark. the clark effect is not reasonable
Sorry for the hijack question but I trust you with truthful context. Did Angel Reese get banned from the WNBA? I do love Kelsey Mitchell's game❤
No, Angel did not get banned
@QuitaLovesSports thank you for clearing that up. As for your question, what we would like you to cover: you're doing an amazing job with your coverage. I would like to know about college games, WNBA players overseas, and where can I watch the games.
Kamilla C
Idk who over there. Tell me about everyone😂😂
Pronounced Shahn - she.
You have to leave the nation to get this kind of marketing; goodness, well, China is a huge market and a modern place to live. Next thing you know, the American players will make this the league of choice.
She will be back very soon to #fever.❤
We need lea tong over here for tge fever. I could see caitlin pass to her ...damn
Mitchell ROCKS!! Angel who?
Angel is making MORE money playing 3X3 in Miami...
@@RustyLou18 Who cares. She is a hollow human being right now. Maybe she grows up.
Tip: Use Google translation to learn how to pronounce Chinese place-names. It's "Shang-she"
Shahn-she
Never seen kelsey look happier. Stephon Marbury was treated like a king over there. Kelsey definitely not coming back to the fever.
LOL, yes she is. She wants a championship...In America.
@tellitlikeitis1828 looks happy. I said not coming back to the fever.

@@rarerock5020 I’ll bet you 500$ right now.
Falls down on a majority of her shots.
