Good work fam !! Im a,huge mcvay fan.. i like tha rams offense that zone scheme..both kyle and sean use it ..kyle is more run oriented ,sean more pass and uses motion and shifting alot more..both have similar concepts ..both also have their own touches and tweaks..i think mcvay is a better coach imo..he makes adjustments better... ive been a xs and os junkie since 4th grade.. all the football students of the game..hit me up and we can debate football all day
For me, tags would go in the play cell like you see in the video: 19/18 is the play, Zorro Cat is the tag. Motions go in the formation cell. So it could be 19/18 Zorro Cat | [RG] | (Y MO) STRONG LT/RT. Now say I want to run 19/18 Zorro Cat with a different pre-snap look. Underneath that play, what I would do is leave the play cell empty and just put in the formation/motion, maybe WEAK LT/RT (F BUMP). It won’t let me send a picture on here, but if you want to DM me on Twitter, I can that way if you want the visual. @Coach_DDavidson
@@Christopher-t6d They do make a difference in relation to which way I may or may not want a play to be run. The way I account for that is just in the line on the call sheet with the slashes. For example: Strong RT/LT 18/19 Zorro Cat. If I want to run it left, I know I need to look to the left side of the slashes (or have my QB do it if wristbanding), and vice versa for right.
@@morgonholden9398 I’ve watched McVay pretty closely. I think he just uses regular paper, although a much bigger sheet than 8.5x11 (normal paper). It’s folded so many times that it gets a little thicker. I think the rest of the tree might use cardstock, just based on how it’s held.

I don’t think you know how good this material is. Great job coach!
Thank you for the kind words!
Just got better today. Not that we see alot of different defenses during a game but I had this section but I like the tweaks you had.
Great Ideas Coach Davidson!!!!
Thank you!
is there anyway to see a filled out sheet. i have a lot of tags and motions interested in how i get it all in one sheet

Does the hasmarks make a difference for you? It helps us to get the call out quicker. But it takes more work.

This was awesome! Thanks for sharing
I appreciate it!
Any idea what type of paper the NFL coaches use? I see Kyle and Sean have a thicker paper that they can write on without laminating it.

Do you have a template for your call sheet? It is awesome!
Thanks! This link will tell you how to get it.
