- TRAXXAS TRX4 Bronco 2021 H-Tech Custom got a new brushless motor Hobbywing AXE R2 2800 kv. First trip and test on off-road, rocks, swamp and river. Before testing, I greased the gears in the axles with grease. I really liked this motor at low speed as well as in second gear at high speed. TRX-4 Bronco 2021 and Hobbywing AXE R2 2800 kv it's a good combination.

So I installed it in my new TRX4 Bronco'21 as well. Seems to be running beautifully. 🤘Now I'm waiting for some cables and the interior. 😒

What size pinion are you using?
I went 9t after a few people suggested it.
A lot more torque but I'm not sure how much speed I'll lose.

Yeah I know. It would be nice if Traxxas offered other axle setups like Element RC does. Their IFS would be great for this body.
They do not need it, their goal is to make more money with minimal costs. I doubt that something will change in the next model.
