    You can press in a lemon squeezer, you know the ones that are usually yellow or green, and make them into little bowls

    Wow! I absolutely love Tostones. I buy it from a Dominican Restaurant in Brooklyn. I love it with lots of garlic on top & saltfish buljol. Your recipe looks so easy. I definitely will make it myself in the near future.🤤😋. Great job👏🏽👏🏽

    Love it when you use the lemon press, then you get little bowls for the filling. Avocado too.

    My fave. I soak the plantain in saltwater before the first fry -- not sure if it makes a difference.

    We make the same thing . But we soak it in saltwater first and then we fry. but I’m gonna try your way. Enjoy.

    Oh Badawi this is one of my favorite side,Goya makes them (frozen) yum. And they also make breadfruit ones. Love them.

    I will try once I get the ingredients. Plantains and bananas are scarce here in Vincy. Beryl took most of the trees.

      Green bananas should work as well. I actually made tostones with green moko and they came out pretty good.
      Beryl really took her toll, wishing a full and speedy recovery to the nation.
