  • Hi everyone. Today I have uploaded a tutorial showing how I draw a horse using charcoal pencils. I use white and black charcoal on toned paper for this one. The horse is a chestnut one so better suited to tonal style than white on black. I go through all of the process as I layer up to get the final effects I want. There is some real time and some sped up footage. I hope you'll find it useful. This was a commission from a couple of months ago. I don't get very many horse commissions so thought i would film it and make a tutorial. The footage is not the best of quality I'm afraid. My phone does not do 4k and just no room to have my big camera pointing down where I am working. Lack of space is a major issue for me. You can still easily see what i am doing though.
