My first reaction was you're pregnant! Some of those brands of baby formula have been around for decades. Used to buy it for my daughter many many moons ago :) But never bought disposable diapers. Someone gifted us diaper service.
Being a father of six we went to Costco and Sam’s Club we have both in our area the quality of Costco diapers are by far better than Sams club also I will not go to Sam’s Club because I have friends who worked there and were treated horribly and I have friends who work at Costco would love it and were treated with respect not and threatened with their job if something doesn’t get doneSo if Costco is a little bit more expensive so be it it’s cleaner it’s well lit but better lighting but people just seem much more happier working there the bakery is by far better than Sams.
I used to be a Costco die hard pre babies, however when I had my daughter she was very picky with formula. Costco didn’t carry a great variety, so I got a Sams membership to buy the liquid formula which agreed so much better with her and ever since I think I am a convert. I really do love Sams for the great variety, self checkout, app check out and their app soo much better!! 🙌
Costco automatically wins, because they are not associated with the Walmart corporation. The slightly higher prices are well worth it, for the way better treatment of their employees.
I love both store brands when it comes to quality, even though I have both memberships I always choose Sam’s club for my sons pull ups and my daughters diapers. And the amount of wipes for that price is always unbeatable, especially when they go on sale for $15!
We only had a Sam's club close and just got a Costco. We noticed that Costco also doesn't have nearly as many baby items like baby food, puffs, soaps, etc.
Sam's club and Costco both have very high quality store brand items. I have never noticed too much difference in quality to be honest. It comes down to, as you say, convenience or proximity to one store vs. the other. I wish I had a Costco closer, but am very satisfied shopping at my near by Sam's Club. :)
This was actually a very timely report as I will be a first time grandma in May!! Good to know what both stores offer, and I can pass this along to my daughter-in-law! Thank you!
My two daughters wore Pamper swaddlers. It didn't matter the price for me, with those. Lol. No more children for me, though. My youngest is seven, and I'm 48. Her sister is 18, and in college.
Great video for parents of young babies/toddlers. Wish I had this good info 5 years ago. But I know this will help many families to make the best decisions to keep more money in their pockets.
We had luck with pampers diapers the most, so sams club was great because they frequently ran sales. Their members mark wipes are amazing! And the diapers were my pick after pampers. Also, if you get formula coupons sent to you in the mail you can use them on the similar and enfamil at Sam’s, just FYI! Thanks for going over formula...I tried so hard to breastfeed and it just didn’t work out and I feel like sometimes it’s shamed upon to formula feed. I kept it a secret for awhile. 😞
Sams/Walmart recently changed their diapers...in the last 2-3 months or so. The “new improved” ones are awful, so thin now. My aunt got me a box at Costco and they are much heavier feeling - the way the Walmart ones used to be. I actually use cloth diapers and just buy the disposable ones for my mom and in laws to use when babysitting so really it doesn’t matter much to me except for the extra leaks and therefore extra laundry 😂
I don't shop at Sam's club, because there no locations near me. For my formula since my son sensitive I just buy the Target brand. It's cheaper than similac sensitive at costco by 15 dollars. For me costco always wins, cause there are more locations near me.
Do any of your children have sensitive skin? I’m always so cautious with “off brand” and Luvs due to the deodorants that are in the diapers. Thank you!!
@@courtneyehalchak Kirkland do not stink like Luvs. I can’t stand Luvs - my neighbor gave us a box leftover from her granddaughter and even my 3 year old said they were stinky diapers 😂
With my youngest formula was cheaper at Sam's for us. This was 4 years ago. However our son had trouble gaining weight. So has formula has to be thick to help him gain weight.
The price differences don't matter to me. I prefer Costco over Sam's Club. Their products are better and they treat their employees well. Sam's Club and Walmart have a bad reputation on how their employees are treated. That alone makes me dislike Sam's I live in northern Utah and the Sam's club here is dull and depressing. Costco does a lot more business than Sam's judging from the parking lots
I don't have any babies, my kids are all grown up but still I couldn't pass up watching this video. Very informative and well thought out. Always a pleasure Kimmy ❤
I disagree that the Kirkland diapers are Huggies. The Kirkland diapers are no where as nice as the Huggies but they're far cheaper so of you don't mind leaks then it is a win. :) Love seeing this comparison as I'm considering getting a Sam's membership as well. Also very much in the child raising phase of life. Thanks for putting this together!
You know for years people have made it seem like Costco was more superior to Sam's. I had never been to Costco so I didn't know. Watching your amazingly detailed comparison videos made me feel like Sam's is the best overall.
I was hoping she’d compare the quality, but I guess that would involve spending a ton of money for on something she’ll never even use! Lol I love the Costco diapers, but they’re far away from us, so I’d have to drive outta town and borrow someone’s membership to get them! Sam’s club is close to use, but I don’t really care entirely about price. If it’s a good quality and medium price point, I’ll be happy!
The kirkland and huggies diapers have the same manufacturer Kimberly Clark. I was a Kirkland brand diaper mom. I loved huggies. I miss the fact they haven't had huggies wipes. Ill use them again for baby number 2 coming in less than 6 weeks. I always bought my cases on sale. Watch the sales it helps
When my twin were infants we use to go to sams because we had the membership just for them. We would buy the formula there along with the huggies and sams brand wipes or huggie wipes. This was pre pandemic so we would buy for the month. Box of wipes, 3 box of diapers (pampers, huggies, or store brand) and 8 can of enfamil powder formula. After formula we were giving them the toddler one for about a year. So about 500$ for the month but that was worth it.
My husband works at a paper mill, the sister Mill 5 miles away makes Kirkland diapers And they also make Members Mark for Sam’s. They are not Huggies. The only thing different is the packaging.
You posted this video a year ago? Where do you live? I did a Sam's vs costo project myself and walked in and looked at the prices the diapers are $44 (here in Orlando fl) double what you have
Yeah I think each store is different depending on where you live. Like some Costcos don’t have Pull Ups and Goodnites but we live in North Carolina, USA and we have Huggies Pull Ups, Pampers Easy Ups and Goodnites. But Sam’s doesn’t have Easy Ups. Same with wipes: she only saw Pampers and Honest Company wipes on Costco’s website but where we live we have those two plus two kinds of Huggies Wipes: Natural Care with Mickey Mouse/Disney Cars and One Done/Refreshing Clean with Nemo/Marlin/Dory/and Hank. I think it depends on where you live
I feel like unless you have a baby actually using these items, you can’t give an honest review. Anyone can look up prices. I need opinions and experience. But thanks for trying anyways . 😊
Kally is NOT pregnant.
😂 thanks for clarifying that because when I saw the diapers and all I thought.... Kally's expecting!!
yup, completely what I thought too!
That was my first reaction too 😂 I thought this was why you are doing it.
My first thought when I saw the title lol 😆

Gotta agree. I despise Walmart. 😝
As a mom of twins this was very helpful!!!

I have both memberships and I definitely love Sam's more than costco.
Definitely pick Sam’s club over Costco. Their members mark diapers in my opinion are name brand quality.
We only had a Sam's club close and just got a Costco. We noticed that Costco also doesn't have nearly as many baby items like baby food, puffs, soaps, etc.
You have to keep checking (products vary all the time) I got my baby his puffs from Costco and always get his soap from there (honest brand two pack).

Same here. I love Sam's. And I always thought the same, that Costco thought they were Superior or better class I guess you could say.
I will spend the extra price because the quality on other products at Costco is way better then SAMS. plus I hate walmart who owns sams
Why/How do you hate Walmart 😳
@@alybean4211 look up how they treat employees, and just the company’s ethics, in general
Walmart is really good to their employees... who says they are not... propaganda!
@@kh2032 well nobody is forcing them to work for Walmart lol. I’m sure there okay. I’m Walmart all the way!

I use Huggies Goodnites pull ups for my night issue. The diaper absorbs good
This is a good subject maybe after xmas ?? Where are all the recipies you used to have on,I loved that ! xox
So glad I'm out of the diaper dilemma. My baby is 12.
Hi kimmy and family from Bonnie Scotland. Hope you are all well. God bless xx
Costco doesn’t have a specific newborn size diaper where I am either, their size 1 diapers just say “up to x lbs” (I think it’s 14lbs).
Have a blessed day Kimmy and Fam💗
I like buying Kirkland brand diapers and wipes. I would definitely love to shop at Sam’s more often, but it is further then Costco for me .
I have both memberships and right now Costco has pull-ups on sale for $29.99 which is a steal here in Hawaii.
Love me some Sam’s Club! All around cheaper where I live.
I love Sams club anytime. Love their meats.
I love Costco baby wipes!! We buy them every 3 months for my grandson
Hello from Australia ..I wish we had Sam's club
You are getting prepared for Kally & Felix, when they’re ready!!!! Look forward tp your videos!!!
No, this video was requested but it gave me a lot of info to bring back to Kally when they’re ready
I am out of the baby stage with my kids. A good video
they may be cheaper but quality beats quantity
Hi Kimmy!! I hope you and the Family are doing great.💜
Thank you!
Good Morning ☃️❄️⛄️🎅🤶🎄
Hello Kimmy! Yes, that sure was a clear winner 😂. Have a nice day today!! 🍼🤱🏼
I don't have either memberships but if I were to have one it would have to be Sam's bc that's all there is near me.
Is Kally pregnant

No

Sams diapers are huggies as well it’s on the box!
Cool!
