The new Dior Fall 2021 makeup collection Birds of Feather is now available. This year Peter Philips created two new Limited Edition eyeshadow palettes: 659 Early Bird and 459 Night Bird. I decided to purchase both palettes and to skip the blushes.

I do my own nails so I got 2 out of 3 nail colors. I skipped the green. But Dior makes excellent nail color and their metallics wear like iron. The Wild Wings color could be great. Reminds me of the Opulence from Chanel Holiday a couple of years back.

I have a real weakness for green eyeshadow, and was attracted to Night Bird right away. I went ahead and popped into a Dior boutique yesterday to get it. Night Bird looks even MORE amazing in person because I can see the different colours in the shimmer. Day Bird is pretty, but I feel like I've seen this colour story already. I had originally planned on getting the rosy nude one blush, but it turned out more shimmery than I expected. The coral (also shimmery, but less so than the nude one) is LOVELY but I bought so many blushes recently that I decided to pass on it.

Finally someone releases some different shades! While these are not something I think I will pick up - they are quite beautiful colors, and different than what we've been seeing lately!!! Really like the teal from Night Bird and the deep purple one from Early Bird.

I went a little nuts and got the whole collection. The Night Bird palette is already temporarily out of stock on Dior. I hope they’ll get more.
I love the Day Bird palette and have already worn it. I’m going to test out Night Bird tomorrow.
The blushes are both beautiful. The nail polishes are so pretty. The Night Bird polish is definitely the best one! It reminds me of the that green in the top left corner of the palette. It is a bronzy gold with iridescent green. Stunning! The Early Bird polish is a soft shimmery color. I don’t like the Wild Wings as much, but that’s because it looks brown to me.

Hi Angela, you have the best swatches. I love both palettes and picked up both. I also skipped on the blushes because I own way too many that I have not even touched yet. The embossing is so beautiful. Definitely night bird is the most unique and it is the most stunning of the two. I love both of your eye looks.

I don’t remember when i was this excited about the new collection from Dior, love both of these palettes, still playing with them, but loving everything so far. Gorgeous looks, Angela!
Both looks are beautiful on you Angela. I just ordered both eye palettes and both blushes from this collection. I hope Dior ships them soon to me. My last couple orders from them have been kind of slow getting to me. I think Romantic Voyage would go well with the Early Bird palette too. I just got that one. I have bought Dior quints for many years. They are one of my favorites and I love the new formula.
I have to say one thing: you are the only one who does these palettes a justice. French women do not pile tons of colors on their eyes they would rather go for one color alone to steal the show. And I think this is what Christian Dior probably wanted to give women with these palettes - options. Less is always more.
In youtube however most of the ladies are trying these two palettes looks by using all colors together. They literally look as if someone gave them a black eye, no joke ;). In comparison you are the only one using these colors correctly. They are amazing as they can be worn alone or max two colors together which is what you did here. You look absolutely amazing. I love both eye looks you created. Magnificent day and evening looks. I chose green palette however as I find it more special.
They look so beautiful! At the beginning I only wanted Early Bird. Then I took a better look at Night bird and it wowed me. I honestly want both. I have amber eyes, so green sometimes agrees with my colour but sometimes it doesn't. I think this type of green should be ok. I think this is the best fall collection.
If you hit the hard pan try to remove it with cello tape, maybe it would work even now to better pick that shadow up.
Well I for sure feel better about the purchase! I got the nude blush but I'm hesitant about the coral on my very fair skin. I'm excited for the nail polish! Thank you for the review!

I think Dior did an amazing job, I want both, I love everything about them! In my opinion, Dior has been out-doing Chanel this fall season. And I love Chanel. But Dior took it to next level good!

How come doors formula change up like they do
Hi I like early bird. Does touching the shadow with your finger add oil to the shadow in the plate and make the shadow hard?
Hello Ann, it was hard when I touched it for the first time. Swatching with finger will definitely make the situation worse. I started using it with a brush. It works but you have to use a brush with firm bristles. xoxo
