I thoroughly enjoyed watching you present the entire Dior Birds of a Feather collection, Michele! This has been my most highly anticipated release since I saw the sneak peek some months back. The Night Bird palette was the main attraction for me, and it’s the palette I ordered as soon as I saw it on Dior’s website the other day. Also, I had to pick up a couple of nail polishes! But after seeing yours and some other reviews, I think I might have to pick up one of the blushes. Btw, I love how you layered the colors of eyeshadow! Exquisite!
I had no idea there were so many lipsticks nor eyeliners in this collection, wow! I ordered the quints and two nail polishes but now I’m really considering at least one blush and one eyeliner. Thank you for such a detailed review!
Michele, if you're getting stressed over the microphone sound, maybe it would save you some energy if you get a lapel microphone, it is usually reeeeeally good to capture only the person's voice and nothing else around. Also, a good one is usually cheap.
I agree! I do film with a lapel mic too, and connect it to a digital recorder. Rode lapel mic cost $50 I think and the Tascam digital recorder is a good one. You can easily sinc your clips during post production. You wont experience any echo with lapel mic too! Good luck Michelle 🙂

I am absolutely here for the looking like a corpse lip shades, maybe a '15 Shades of Cool Nudes' video for this fall? Hmm? I love this Dior collection, however I won't purchase anything (besides that lip pencil if it looks good on me), because my current makeup collection has many similar shades to these quints at this point. I'd love to see you wearing these multichrome polishes, the shade Nightbird gives me an impression of fireflies, which imo is lovely for the end of summer : )
Love this collection, too.. I am an artist and LOVE the ochre color, as well.. I’ve ordered this quint and am thinking of combining the ochre with the red to mute the reddish shade down, since I don’t typically wear red.. I think it will provide enhancement and make the quint more wearable for me. Gorgeous…
I was waiting for your review, Michele to see if I wanted this or the Chanel fall items. I absolutely love when a brand offers a fully curated collection. It really helps us 'make-up for dummies' folks look put together. I have purchased large (expensive!) palettes and then scratch my head trying to pair a complimentary blush and lipstick and the end result nearly always looks like a mish mash and I rarely reach for those large palettes again. I'm going to watch this video a few more times and take notes, then place my order. I could tell by your comments that you love this collection more than the Chanel. Thank you! And to think you're thanking US for our patience! You continue to post wonderful content in a state of flux that would have caused anyone to take a hiatus. You are the Queen!

Ohhhhh my gosh I wore the Early Bird quint yesterday and Night Bird today and I am in LOVE. I only bought the quints and the polishes but now you’ve got me wanting the liners and blushes too! I thought I could just dupe the blushes with Pat McGrath’s but maybe I should pick them up and see…🤔 I’m not really excited by the lip products except for that bright red so I might pick that up. This collection SO makes up for Chanel’s kind of sad fall showing. (Just my opinion, obviously) I’m into color so that’s why I’m excited. Glad you enjoyed it and hugs to Miss Butters! ❤️

I just love that Nightbird palette. I think they should have put the mustard in that one and the peach in the other. But they probably wouldn’t have looked as dynamic for sales purposes.

I got the Early bird eyeshadow. I’m not sure yet they how I like it yet. The mustard shade did not show up but the colors are very pretty they are very soft and satin.
The eyeshadows are just stunning. Reminds me so much of The Plucky Knitter color choices! Honestly…that’s what I thought of when you were describing them!

Regardless of audio, I’m so glad you did this review… I already bit the bullet and bought one of the palettes and it is incredible. Dior always sends with signature required by the way… this is so annoying, especially that the ups person never collects signature bc of Covid.

The cool nude lipstick is my favorite! I love colors like that on my lips. For reference, my all time favorite Lippie in that shade is a Maybelline one called Greige. You've given me a high end option! It looked amazing on you!!!!

A few months ago I bought 3 of those dior eyeliners, one black, one blue (gorgeous) and one purple. The black one I have used almost all of it, but the other two, about two months later I went to use them and they were both completely dry. They were tightly closed and I had only opened them once... it was money down the drain. On the other hand, the amount of product is minimal, if you use it daily it will last you very little. That was my experience... It make me sad because I love dior makeup. By the way, I love this collection
I have so been looking forward to this collection since it was leaked! I purchased Night Bird, Blush in 468 and the Vibrant Nude lip crayon - I can't wait to play with them, though sad to ruin the beautiful embossing.

Not gonna lie, that Night Bird palette is stunning. I usually don't go for Dior, but I might take a peak at that palette if possible.
The cool nude lipstick is my favorite! I love colors like that on my lips. For reference, my all time favorite Lippie in that shade is a Maybelline one called Greige. You've given me a high end option! It looked amazing on you!!!!

I can’t imagine what it must be like to film something multiple times and to have issues multiple times!! You must feel like pulling your hair out and saying forget it! Thank you for persevering! A few months ago I bought 3 of those dior eyeliners, one black, one blue (gorgeous) and one purple. The black one I have used almost all of it, but the other two, about two months later I went to use them and they were both completely dry. They were tightly closed and I had only opened them once... it was money down the drain. On the other hand, the amount of product is minimal, if you use it daily it will last you very little. That was my experience... It make me sad because I love dior makeup. By the way, I love this collection

I have so been looking forward to this collection since it was leaked! I purchased Night Bird, Blush in 468 and the Vibrant Nude lip crayon - I can't wait to play with them, though sad to ruin the beautiful embossing.
