Hi friends, you know I'm going to ask 😃 what do you think of Chane's lavender blush now? Does it look better? do you like it used on its own or with the berry blush on top? Would you buy it? Let's discuss :)
Hi Angela, I often match my makeup colors to the outfit that I wear. I use the Dior Lilac Blush with the Atelier Mauve eyeshadow palatte when I'm wearing light purple. I'm still on the fence with the Chanel lavender blush but I would like to try the Dior Blush/Highlighter. I would like to see some comparisons between the Dior RosyGlow Lilac and the Chanel Lavender blush. I have light medium skin and I will have to see more reviews of the Chanel blush in lavender and the orange before I decide whether it's worth trying. I think it might still look a bit spooky. I do have the Chanel Light and Berry and that application did help a little. Thanks for the review.
Hi Angela. I'm really glad you made this video. I have both the Dior Dioramour and the stick foundation, and have had problems with both. Let's start with foundation: these colors run dark and yellowish. I'm usually one shade darker than you, and I bought 2N. So dark on me! I was really shocked. And I get lighter in winter. Luckily I can return it. I think these shades are best tried on in the store. As for the blush, I have been back and forth with it. But you are right. Everything would have to be planned, from clothes to other makeup colors to make it work. However, you've given me hope. It would look best with another color like your berry to brighten the face. Still, eye and lip colors need to work with that lavender highlight and very soft lavender/pink blush. If I keep Dioramour I think it will get the most use in Winter when I'm fairer. I see this working best with a shimmery water color type look with lilacs and maybe other soft colors for eyes. A silver on the eyes would be beautiful too. But it would have to be soft. These colors are like a whisper of falling snow. Thanks for your thorough review. The Dior Blush and Glow, in particular, has given me fits!💚
Dear Angela, you are wonderful thank you for giving us options. It looks better however I won't buy it because I have so many blushes and it's not special enough to justify a purchase. I'm trying to be more mindful and use the stuff I own which are plenty 🤣🥰🥰🥰
I think this look is beautiful on you. Thank you for all the work. I have the Dior stick foundation and I think it’s becoming my new favourite. I’ve used it every day here in high temps and humidity in the UK and it still looks good when I come to remove my make up. It’s fabulous so far. ☺️
I love the Dior stick foundation in 2N is a good shade in winter. The CT stick I have a bronzer shade I watched many reviews before buying it and I love it as a glowy bronzer I don’t need it as a highlighter as I have many products that gives me that like the Dior forever glow star filter etc. Not buying anything lavender because I’m too deep and warm ,so cool colors don’t look good on me, I wear coral orange and yellow blushes or warm pinks
I could have not pulled off such a gorgeous look with all these lilac colours. Your eyes almost look turquoise with this eye make up. Absolutely beautiful!
I'm a working mum and not a make-up expert. I definitely want make-up that works for me, not vice-versa 😂 To be fair: a lavender-coloured blush is clearly a product that is aimed at a whole different market segment to me 😅
I love your lavender top and beautiful makeup, Angela! I have a fair skin tone, and I use my lavender powder as a multi purpose product. Blusher, eyeshadow, base for other blushes, blush topper, under eye powder, finishing powder, and highlighter. It is about what you love to do with your makeup. I appreciate what you do so much, Angela! I hope Angela and all of you, have a great weekend! 💜🪻💄🩷💕💝👍🏻
@@Majspiir The name of the powder on Angela’s video is Les Tarrots de Chanel matte powder in the shade Lavender. 🪻 It has the No. 5 and cards imprint on it. I have tried ones from Anna Sui and K-Beauty brands which worked well for me. I hope this helps! 😄💜🩷💝💕🪻
Thank you so much❤ I should have been more precise. I was looking for the name on the lilac/purple powders you have tried. Not the name on the Chanel. I’m very cool pale and on the hunt for powders to brighten up my face. I’ll look at Anna Sui. I’m in Denmark and the purple powders (without perfume) are hard to find.
@@Majspiir Jill Stuart summer 2023 has one, Ameli baked powder in violet is very subtle, Hince second skin powder is the most matte and used for setting versus finishing like the others I mentioned. Suqqu is also in on the trend with blush in Mizuawa and upcoming 2025 release of matte pressed powders in lavender and blue.
Hi Angela, I must say I love your pop. I love this color. Perfect on you. Can I borrow it? Lol no really you look beautiful. We have a new Chanel store. I’m very excited here in Boston and Chestnut Hill Massachusetts. I’m very excited as it is only right up the street from my house. I am going to go in there and check things out. I just fear I will walk out with too many products. Have a wonderful day you look beautiful Angela wishing you much love health and prosperity this new year.
Hi ! Tks for your update ! Just bought it this morning and I just love it ! Love the blurring effect on my wrinkles / forehead, and love to mix it with the « rose ardent « blush and not to forget the touch of lavender on my eyelids and wow ! I just love it ! I have fair skin , dark blond , green eyes and mature skin ! It s a great buy for me ! Tks for your review ! It has helped a lot ! 🙏
😊I'm very excited for the Dior foundation stick and Dioramour duo❤ I used up a very similar pastel pink Korean blush and I'm close to using up my Clio highlighter that is very similar as well to the lilac highlighter. I'm looking forward using it on my eyes too. I'm even thinking to get the darker plum blush duo to mix it with this. I think they'll pair beautifully together.
Thank you, Angela! I love the lavender blush and will try to purchase one for myself. As always, I love your videos! Take care and be well, mon amie!! Thank 💜
blush almost didnt show up on me, i have same skin tone as this blish 😅 i tried it with Lilas baume essentiel , not sure how to make work cream and dry products even thougt they seemed to be purfect color match
I’m looking forward to the Chanel blush in the lavender shade as I am fair cool and love the lavender brightening powders on my skin so this one with a light hand could have a nice effect t. Thank you for the extensive review!
I m sooo happy that I purchased the lilac blush and the eyeshadow palette, I first wasn t really convinced buut they are so beautiful and diverse to use❤
The colors look so pretty on you, Angela! I think I’ll get the lavender blush. Agree about the Dior eyeliner. It’s a pretty lilac, but pulls on my eyelids (very dry). Love this review. 💕
I'm so glad you showed the lavender blush from dior with the berry blush from CHANEL. I use it the same way and am really happy with my new products. I'm also going to get the lavender blush from CHANEL when it comes out. I too wish CHANEL would do a face powder with pale pink and lavender!🩷💜 Your videos are great❤
Oh my goodness once you added the berry colored blush at the very end it just added a bit of dimension that is beautiful!! Thank you, you are so sweet ❤ I really like the way you used the lavender blush and the CT stick. You’re the first person I’ve seen use it not all over the face but as an enhancer. Beautiful!
Should we work for our makeup or vice versa? Great question. The more intentional our look, the better it works. I love the way this pulls together. I do live in South FL, and the humidity (and casual lifestyle) makes a sophisticated look the exception rather than the rule.
Wow, what a beautiful look, Angela!! Yes, the addition of the Chanel brighter pink did add extra life to your already stunning look. Great video!!😊 Susan
This makes me think.... I could try to use it as a finishing powder all over the face :) Thank you for mentioning! ❤️️ I'll try tomorrow. I love the blurring effect that it gives.
I love the Chanel lavender blush in conjunction with the Christian Dior Duo. They look gorgeous together. I wold only recommend these colors for people with fair skin. The minimal eye makeup looks lovely and the whole look is very pretty and feminine. I already have the CD duo and the Dior lavender blush that was released earlier, so I will try this combo. However, I will be purchasing the Dior foundation stick in 1N and the lavender Chanel blush when it is released. Your video convinced me. Great job as always💖
Hi Angela! Thank you so much for going over the new Chanel Blushes again! ❤ One thing I really have noticed is how popular the two colors are currently for Summer & Fall. I recently purchased the Viseart Paris Reveries Etendu palette (which is full of various shades of lavender, lavendar- rose, peach, peachy-neutrals. It's a gorgeous palette!! I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow flying home to the Midwest US (Minnesota), and am bringing it with me. These 2 color stories can be absolutely gorgeous, bright, and youthful!! 🌺💐🌺
Hi Sara, That's true. The two colors are very popular this summer and this will continue in the fall. Enjoy your trip! ❤️️❤️️❤️️ I'm sure you are going to have the best time! I will check out this Viseart palette. They have amazing quality makeup. xoxo
Hi Angela that is also my middle name I love the look you created so beautiful it doesn't hurt that you have gorgeous skin. I did order the new Dior Rouge Blush Color and Glow in 287 Dioramour but it is sold out on the Dior website so I had to pay 30 dollars more & get it from a site that sells to the U.S. but it is overseas. The Chanel Blush is also gorgeous.
Hi Angela. I really love all your videos. I love all the looks you tried today. Love all three blushes on you. I can’t wait to get the new Chanel blush when it becomes available in the US 💜💜💜💜
Hi Karen Elanor ❤️️ It's always such a pleasure to see you here and to read your comments. I think the official launch of the collection is the end of August but I expect it to be available earlier than that. :) I'm excited for you to try it and I hope you will share your experience with me. Feedback is always so appreciated. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday thank you! I appreciate your kindness and effort to reply to all your followers ( friends 😉). I will happily let you know what I think. Hopefully sooner rather than later! 🥹🙏🏻😊🫶🏻
I'm with you , I love the CT stick. I use it as a glowy underbase under my Westman or Merit stick. I just bought the Dior stick and can't wait to try it. Love your channel.
I think Chanel blush look lovely... but, will I buy it? Hum... I have to think twice, because definitly it needs to be worked. Love your videos. I learn a lot from them. I also work in a office!
I have found with myself and others online that the Dior foundation your normal foundation color to half a shade darker is the perfect shade with this foundation but chiefs kids 😘👌🏼 it is beautiful. Just a caution of warning to combo to oily skin girls the Dior foundation stick will melt off in very hot weather like in SoCal so just beware maybe it will be a winter/fall/spring foundation for oily girls ☺️
Angela, I loved the lavender color story ❤❤❤ And I have pale skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. 👱♀️ 😊 So I usually use the lightest or next to the lightest colors. So I am considering the lavender chanel blush. 💜 I also love the Dior pink and lavender 💜 blush and highlighter. I love your channel ❤ 💕 ♥. Have a great weekend.
Dear Angela, Thank you very much for your reviews😘😘😘 I am agree with you. I am using CT - UNREAL SKIN SHEER GLOW TINT (shade 3) and I like it. I love light coverage for daily use. I have dry, fair skin and after my skin looks very normal and no excessive glowing, absolutely normal and hydrating. I am not using powder and and I am using it for the whole my face, but not excessively. Somehow this works for me.🙂🙂🙂
Yes! I knew the berry blush would look amazing with the new lavender blush!🥰 I am *running* to get both blushes as soon as they’re available in the US!
Love the blush. I got the Dior foundation stick and contour and really love them. I order the blush and highlighter duo It is midnight here in Miami but it hasn’t arrived yet. I want to try the Chanel also. It looks so beautiful on you!!!! It is midnight here in Miami but I had a very hectic day. Was stock in traffic for almost two hours. Got home in a bad mood. But tomorrow will be another beautiful day and I will get along with beautiful life!!! Hope your weekend is a great one. ❤❤🥰🥰
Hi Angela! Thank you for demoing the new Chanel blush in lavender in combination with the Berry/light duo and the Dioramour blush duo. In my opinion, the lavender blush, on its own, fails to enhance your natural beauty, regardless of clothing and lip shade. On my screen, the lavender blush looked flattering only in combination with the Berry/Light duo. I suppose the orange blush would combine well with the Chanel blush duo in Peach/Gold. I hope Chanel’s holiday collection will be suitable for a wider range of skin tones. Thanks again!
Hi Angela, you look beautiful in the lavender blush❤❤. I love it with the berry blush ! .. I was wondering if I could use the berry with the lavender Dior … I might have to pick up the Chanel . I love The Charlotte Tilbury tint stick .I use it like you do , as a quick just enough something for everyday with some powder . Sometimes I use it with my Chanel water fresh tint ! If I want to be extra I use it with my Dior stick foundation. Thank you so mush for your videos ! You inspire me every time I watch 😘
Hi Tracy ❤️️I am always so happy when I see you in the comments! To your question: yes! Chanel's berry looks gorgeous combined with Dior's lavender duo. I find Dior's lavender duo to be very beautiful, sheer and now when my skin has a little bit more color I prefer to add a touch of Chanel's berry blush. I must say both Dior's duo and Chanel's duo are my favorites! Chanel is an interesting product if you want to experiment. I just read in the comments that these type of blushes are very popular in Asia. They even use them to add volume to the face or under the eyes - I'm planning to try that tomorrow. :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and product comparisons. I would like to know if you would be comparing the new YSL lavender liquid blush against the new lavender Chanel powder blush and the Dior one :)
Thanks so much and your videos are so so helpful! I actually purchased the lavender blush after watching your last video. It’s a shade that’s very similar to a discontinued Shiseido blush PK107, which was very popular in Asia about 5-8 years ago. In Asia, people use it under the eyes in the hollow, it helps plump up and blur this area and gives a more youthful look. I saw makeup artists in Asia telling people to use it in this way for the Chanel lavender blush too, and to pair it with a slightly dark shade of blush on the cheeks. Hope you’ll try this method out too and let us know what you think! ❤❤❤
Absolutely! ❤️️ I will be trying t tomorrow and thank you so much for sharing those tips. I got a few other comments suggesting that in Asia it is used under the eyes and to give volume to the face. I'm really excited to try that tomorrow. :)
@@Frenchforaday ❤️ I used to be so skeptical of this method and found that it can look a bit unnatural in real life if over applied, however during Covid, it worked wonders for those zoom / video meetings and bad home lighting that accentuates under eye circles haha 🤣😂
Those with medium to tan skin tones with olive undertones will love the lavender when used lightly as a brightener-similar to the Dior lavender loose powder, but with more color.
I love the look you made! I have your same skin tone but I’ve had a blush before with a strong lavendar tone and didn’t enjoy it on me to I won’t be trying this one from Chanel. But I can appreciate the product!
Pale lavender colors usually work best on fair cool skin tones. If you are like me and you lean more yellow, then you will have to adjust such colors :) Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day! ❤️️
Hi Angela 👋. Firstly, thank you for taking the time and spending the money to take us through these products. I hadn’t even heard of the Charlotte Tilbury one but now I’m intrigued. I’d heard of the Dior one. I’ve just ordered a Cle De peau foundation based on your recommendation, but I have no real bases at the moment (or none that suit) so maybe I will try the Dior too. I’ll definitely get the lightest one though as it seems that would be best as our skin is the same. As to the blush, I am currently on an odyssey to find the right blush colour for me. Neutral ones essentially do nothing for me and reddish ones just bring out any redness I happen to have. The Gucci Rosy Beige is my current best choice. Like you I have very fair skin (in fact I use you as a colour match) and I’m beginning to see think lavender is for me. The Dior one looks divine. I already have a lavender top (like you are wearing) as it happens to suit me, so on days when I want a “Snow White” look (which people tell me is flattering on me) yes I think this may be my shade. I am certainly going to try many of the products you’ve shown here today. I need a new start and I think this will work for me. I totally understand what you were saying about having just applied the blush as it was in your last video. I did not expect more. I think it was correct to do it that way. In this case though, as it’s an unusual colour, I can see how people needed a little more help as to how to use it. One question, if you were me (and had no lavender blushes at all) would you buy both the Chanel and Dior? I am tempted to as they seem a slightly different product, one beautifying the other even further. What do you think? Can’t wait to hear from you before I buy. Loved this video. Again thank you beautiful lady 😃
I always knew you had a fair olive undertone. I'm also a light olive, so your channel is extremely helpful for me. You look gorgeous in lavender. Between Chanel lavender blush and Dior lavender duo, which one is your favorite? Thank you!
Hi lovely, I prefer Dior because it has a blush and highlighter and it's so pretty on its own. I can use it without worrying what makeup I wear, or without thinking about clothes or how to match it. Foe me Dior is more beautiful overall. :)
Hi Janie, You are right! I think I've never shown my nighttime routine. This could be a new video. And yes, I like a little scented body lotion before bed. ❤️️
@@gerrialfino1514 Paris Venise is one of my favorite Chanel fragrances. It starts off with a soft citrus and neroli and quickly settles into the most comforting white floral with vanilla base. The vanilla is not sweet. Main notes that I feel are soft citrus, neroli, tonka bean and a touch of iris. Light, clean, inoffensive and suitable for any season or occasion. If you can't try it before you buy, then I would suggest you purchase the body lotion because it is more affordable and if you have the body lotion, you literally don't need the perfume. The body lotion is very long-lasting. Most days I don't even apply the fragrance if I wear the lotion.
Hi Angela I love the Charlotte Tilbury stick tint and a have mature and very oily skin but it just works for me. I too think this product is a bit misunderstood. Great video👌🏽❤️😄
I love the charlotte tilbury skin tint! But I wear it as a foundation and then wear concealer above and set it with powder. I like it because it’s quick to apply and I’m not someone who spends more than 10 mins on makeup…. The trick I think is to not over apply. It doesn’t cover more but over glows. I don’t have the best skin but I like it as I like a light coverage look. I’m ower 40 and used to have oilier skin but now it’s not so oily so this foundation suits me. I just bought the Dior stick foundation and will be keen to see how it goes! I have been wearing charlotte tilbury for over 5 years and before that Armani for 10 years! I don’t change or mix and match much but decided to try Dior…. Who knows maybe I may start liking Dior!!! This will ‘my actually my first Dior product. Not sure about lavender blush though! I’ve gone towards liquid blushes… I did like the other Chanel blushes as they last a long time (meaning the box lasts and the powder doesn’t break like charlotte tilbury’s powder blushes). I just bought the Chanel Chanel edition with the purple, pink, bronze and silver and that blush suits me. I Great vid!❤
I agree Angela, you can make any makeup product work for you, but I want it work for me, not vise versa, I want it to be easy and effortless. That’s my honest opinion. You can pull any look though, without a doubt
Angela, re the eyeliner: I too need really soft and creamy liners, and my two favorites are Chantecaille and YSL, which is also super long lasting. Hope this helps!
Awwww I'm so happy to see you here! I have to try the new YSL eyeliners. They have been on my wish list! ❤️Have a wonderful day and thank you for watching! xoxo
Thank you for the video, Angela. I like a sheer foundation/tint (my favourite was the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation now discontinued) so I was excited to purchase the Unreal skin as soon as it released without seeing any videos and found that it was like a multi use highlighter/primer. I wanted a quick fuss free base and didn’t get it. I think they named it incorrectly, maybe it should be in their flawless filter range and promoted it differently.
Hi beautiful Angela, The berry blush from Chanel looks positively gorgeous on you by way of snow white vibes. The Dior palette when mixed together blush / highlighter gives the same effect as the new Westman Atelier highlighter on your cheeks and I personally think that the WA is a more diverse product. The Chanel lavender blush is super sophisticated and also diverse in its ability to be used as a blush topper (think matte highlighter), a light contour framing the cheek bones for fair complections or as a blush color corrector as you mentioned and the list of possibilities goes on. All of which are pretty unique options. Thank you for another brilliantly charming and informative video, I always look forward to yours!! ❤
Hi lovely and a huge thank you for this wonderful comment! ❤️️ Your kindness made my day! :) I'm reading the comments now I saw a suggestion for the lavender blush to be used under the eyes lightly and to add volume to the face. As you said, this is a product that offers a lot of possibilities. Thank you so much for watching my video and have a wonderful day! ❤️️
You look beautiful as always, Angela. I love Chanel, but I don’t think I can make the new fall Chanel blush work. I have the Chanel berry blush from the summer collection and also the Dior blush you showed, so I am going to pass on it. I am considering the new cool tone eyeshadow in the upcoming fall collection. Thanks for another informative video!
I have shade 0 in the dior foundation and it is really light, but shade 1 is too dark on me. I need a shade in between 😂 i can’t wait to buy the chanel blushes. They look so so awesome. I also got the lavender dior duo blush and highlight and it is stunning.
Snow White🤍💜 So beautiful When I saw a photo of the new make-up from Chanel, I thought - oh my God, what is this. But when I tested this look online on myself, it looked great on me😍 In reality, I tried to recreate this strange caramel-carrot lipstick color with the help of shadows. I would never have thought that such a color would suit me. Ordered🙈 I'm not sure about the lavender blush, because I'm not a fairy, I'm fair.
Those chanel blushes is for autumn-winter collection were we use more earth colored clothes like browns, greens, Beiges, black and more muted colors etc...and not bright colors like in the summer..I believe we will not have to worry much about matching the colors that much to work
I’ve just bought both the lavender blush and the Dior duo blush as well as the duo 100 contour/ highlighter but I haven’t tried them yet, I am afraid they will be disappointing but I had to have them for my birthday 😂
I have extremely pale, neutral skin, and lavender looks really good on me. Even though I tend slightly more warm than cool, any blush warmer than slightly warm pink looks unnaturally orange on me.
The Chanel Lavender blush looks beautiful. Actually im the mid 1980s Chanel did have and all over powder in Blanc, ivory and a very light lavender. The product came with a big puff to apply. They were illuminators. It would make yiur skin look like a porcelain doll. I also used their transparent foundation Blanc. If you know how to use their products , they'll create an amazing look ❤
You definitely made it work - everything looks lovely. I like a bolder cheek but that's a preference thing. The blush colour is gorgeous. I"m wondering if the blush can be used on the high points of the face as more of a 'highlighter effect' without the shine (a loooong time ago I had a highlighting powder from Chanel that was pink and it had zero shimmer - it worked beautifully). I think your look here would also look amazing with a lavender or purplish lipstick - even a bit bolder. Purple is my passion - right away I thought you should add the lilac eyeliner and then you said it hurts your eyes.
Hi Arianna, It is supposed to launch in the end of August. I will make a post as soon as I see it available in USA. They released it a bit earlier in Europe and UK. xoxo
Hi Charlotte, On a daily basis, I only apply powder in the center of my face but I will do that with every foundation or skin tint just because I have combo skin. If you like very light glowy finish, you may use it on its own. In this video I used Dior's foundation on top because I wanted a more sophisticated coverage and I wanted to demonstrate the product. It's not for everyone for sure but I like it a lot.
I appreciate your honesty always. ❤ Edit: I enjoy korean make up and also the idea behind this blush. But I liked one thing you said once. I don't work for make up, make up works for me. That's why I enjoy high qualify make up. I liked that idea of yours and now always opt for products that are easy to use❤ Edit: but the blush layered like this looks goegeous on you, you are such a beauty 😊 Edit: id opt for the 2 color chanel berry blush rather than the new one. Feels like more value for your money
Hi Anna Katharina, I live by the rule that make should work for me and not the other way around. lol To be completely honest, I ordered this blush so that I can review and pale lavender is a trending color this season. I think this color in particular will work best on very fair cool skin tones. My skin is more warm so I have to work for it (and as you know I don't like to work for makeup). Overall, Chanel's light and berry duo or Dior's duo are better value because they can be used alone and without thinking too much. Thank you for watching! It's always a pleasure to read your comments. ❤️️
A very pretty result but I really couldn’t be bothered with the faff with the 2 sticks and four different cheek products!!! I will try the Dior stick but CT is absolutely not for me. I like a subtle glow and that just looks plain greasy to me and one which will disappear very quickly so what’s the point 🤷🏻♀️?! My skin tone doesn’t lend itself to the lavender blush but perhaps my Chanel lady will sway me if they arrive here.
1.5 fair. But in all other Charlotte Tilbury foundations I wear 1. I chose 1.5 intentionally because it is a light reflective product and if I choose my exact shade it may look unflattering. I explained that at some point in the video.
@@marikanespoli6525 Of course :) It's easy to skip. We all have so much to do. I appreciate when you take the time to watch my videos. It means a lot! Have a wonderful day! xoxo
I am struggling to like the Dior foundation stick. I am going to try your technique with the glow underneath it to see if it will work better. Did you use a setting powder? If yes, what brand?
Hello, Dior's foundation stick is medium coverage so if you are used to light coverage this may be one reason why you dislike it. My tips are: moisturize your skin well before applying the foundation and try taking some product from the stick with your fingers and then blend onto your skin. That way you will get less product and you will have more control over the product to melt it in your skin. Also, this will give you a more flawless effect. Work with small amount of product at a time and add more only if you need. Towards the end of the video I used some givenchy prisme libre loose powder because it was so hot and the lack of air conditioner when I film makes me melt lol
I suppose it will be the same. It all comes to what the customs decide and how they evaluate the items. But also, I don't think Canadian websites ship worldwide.
IMO most of the CT clientele perfect a heavier makeup aesthetic. That is not my preferred aesthetic. This may be a product for me to try? I only enjoy the CT lip liners and Legendary Brow.
Hi Sara, It is glowy, play the video on your laptop and make sure you switched to HD. That way you will see how much it accentuates texture. And the camera exaggerates a lot so it looks better in real life but you will get the idea. I personally like it on top of my SPF and I use it here and there. It's like 30 sec. makeup for me. And of course, I use powder on the center of my face to balance the glow. For me: it gets me a lot of compliments. When we visited Nick's relatives, his aunt literally couldn't take her eyes off me and I only had SPF and this on my nose, cheeks, up on the forehead and givenchy powder on the rest of my face. I find that when I use it on my cheeks it makes me look younger because the way it reflects light makes my cheeks more plump.
First and I was always planning to and definitely buying the Chanel lavender blush. Will be wearing it solo. No way to the berry :) Re that Charlotte Tilbury stick I much prefer the Natasha Denona HyGen Skinglass.
I never tried Natasha Denona's Hygen skinglass. I was very excited to try it but then I waited for so long to become available at my retailer that I forgot it even existed lol. I have to see if they finally have it. Thanks for mentioning and have a great day! ❤️️
@@FrenchforadayThe combination you created with Dior and CT was beautiful. I’m not sure you need an old product that is largely unloved :) Skinglass combined with the Natasha Denona Beautifier powder has little coverage as well. They are just meant to be lovely feeling skincare that looks pretty and I that’s what I want on “days off”. Thank you for your lovely videos.
The lavender blush is invisible, no matter how high the quality of the video I switch on. Maybe irl 🤷🏻♀️ but still not convinced. I don’t see a person being able to use up this product in a lifetime ever.
If you have to work for a high tag price blush to work for you it’s not worth it in my opinion! It still looks almost like nothing on your skin unfortunately:(
Hi friends, you know I'm going to ask 😃 what do you think of Chane's lavender blush now?
I definitely want make-up that works for me, not vice-versa 😂 To be fair: a lavender-coloured blush is clearly a product that is aimed at a whole different market segment to me 😅
Hi Anne! I fully agree! ❤️️
Chanel’s lavender blush is so special💜 I loved it before and I love it even more💜💜💜
The color of the Dior foundation stick looks perfect on your skin! 😊❤
What is the name of the powder? I’m looking for one 😊
im totally going to repeat and wear the make up you showed in the video, that chanel blush and dior hightligher are like a dream combo
Ooohhh I love a good stick foundation! Thanks for your always comprehensive reviews. ❤
I think this is a beautiful, winter look. It is ethereal and snowflake fairy like. Yes, I'll buy this.
Hello Angela.. Watching your video for the second time and very glad . Yes I will get the Chanel blush. The look is gorgeous.Big hug~~~
that lavender blush is absolutely beautiful this cool toned makeup compliments fair/ivory skin tone so well. so pretty wow 🤩
Thank you, Angela! I love the lavender blush and will try to purchase one for myself. As always, I love your videos! Take care and be well, mon amie!! Thank 💜
Wow! You created a beautiful, ethereal look. I love your blue eyes with the light eyeshadow accent.
Thank you so much, Sarah! ❤️❤️❤️ It means a lot to me. :) Have a wonderful day!
blush looks amazing, i paused your video yesterday and immedeately ordered blush🤩
I hope you will love the blush. :) Let me know after you try it. I love to hear feedback. ❤️️
blush almost didnt show up on me, i have same skin tone as this blish 😅 i tried it with Lilas baume essentiel , not sure how to make work cream and dry products even thougt they seemed to be purfect color match
Thank you!!!! Your videos are soooo helpful. It makes me do my purchases more informed❤
The blush looked nice. I want the lavender blush.
Yes, you look fab 💖💖💖
I think the extra blush on top really enhanced your cheeks. I really like it layered like that.
Great video!!😊
Susan
Hi Susan, Thank you so much for watching! Thank you so much for the kindest words! ❤️️ Have a wonderful day! xoxo
That Chanel powder looks like the old Lilas powder- so fine and velvety. I still have one left😊
This makes me think.... I could try to use it as a finishing powder all over the face :) Thank you for mentioning! ❤️️ I'll try tomorrow. I love the blurring effect that it gives.
Love the look & the addition of the berry at the end, I feel dresses up the look a bit. 🤍
Hi Chris, Thank you so much for watching my video ❤️️
@@Frenchforaday i love your content. You are so beautiful, honest, & smart! With impeccable taste. I will make a better effort at commenting ❤️❤️❤️
Love lavender on you. I would match makeup & wardrobe 💜
They have amazing quality makeup. xoxo
Hi definitely will try these products will be great for spring and summer. So excited to try them.😊😊
Hi Angela that is also my middle name I love the look you created so beautiful it doesn't hurt that you have gorgeous skin. I did order the new Dior Rouge Blush Color and Glow in 287 Dioramour but it is sold out on the Dior website so I had to pay 30 dollars more & get it from a site that sells to the U.S. but it is overseas. The Chanel Blush is also gorgeous.
thanks for the video❤
blush brush number, please?
I like the blush on you especially in that outfit. I definitely think about wearing cooler or warmer tones to match makeup or vice versa.
@@Frenchforaday I was thinking of the Dior rosy glow in pink lilac 🤩but now I might have to buy the lavender duo 😂
@@lewistracy3061 I actually forgot that I have it! I have to use it tomorrow. I think it will look gorgeous! Thank you for reminding me. 💜
Could you try sisleys phyto twist blush in petal? I feel like it's a beautiful blush that doesn't get much attention
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and product comparisons. I would like to know if you would be comparing the new YSL lavender liquid blush against the new lavender Chanel powder blush and the Dior one :)
Great choice of music 🎵 to love it
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ❤️️
I was wondering how this all compares to the Dior Backstage pink lilac blush. I do have that blush and love it. Love the look. Gives spring vibes.
This video was super helpful - I just sent it to a friend who said they were disappointed with the CT stick.
Great video!😍
I always knew you had a fair olive undertone. I'm also a light olive, so your channel is extremely helpful for me. You look gorgeous in lavender. Between Chanel lavender blush and Dior lavender duo, which one is your favorite? Thank you!
Hi lovely, I prefer Dior because it has a blush and highlighter and it's so pretty on its own. I can use it without worrying what makeup I wear, or without thinking about clothes or how to match it. Foe me Dior is more beautiful overall. :)
@@Frenchforaday thank you so much Angela! I'll be getting the Dior duo then!
Dearest, would you show us your night routine? All I remember you ever mentioning is Chanel Paris Paris body lotion/perfume, which I love.
Hi Janie, You are right! I think I've never shown my nighttime routine. This could be a new video. And yes, I like a little scented body lotion before bed. ❤️️
Do either of you know Chanel Paris Venise? I am very tempted and would love to hear some thoughts. Chanel Paris Paris sounds too sweet for me.
@@gerrialfino1514 I have both and alternate. Both have a clean scent. Careful with the cap! Twist gently to open. Great gifts, too.
@@janiebratt8826 As you may imagine, I caved and got both. Thank you both.
Great vid!❤
I agree Angela, you can make any makeup product work for you, but I want it work for me, not vise versa, I want it to be easy and effortless. That’s my honest opinion. You can pull any look though, without a doubt
Angela, re the eyeliner: I too need really soft and creamy liners, and my two favorites are Chantecaille and YSL, which is also super long lasting. Hope this helps!

i want to try the Dior foundation stick
Thank you for the video, Angela. I like a sheer foundation/tint (my favourite was the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation now discontinued) so I was excited to purchase the Unreal skin as soon as it released without seeing any videos and found that it was like a multi use highlighter/primer. I wanted a quick fuss free base and didn’t get it. I think they named it incorrectly, maybe it should be in their flawless filter range and promoted it differently.
Hi beautiful Angela,
The berry blush from Chanel looks positively gorgeous on you by way of snow white vibes.
I also got the lavender dior duo blush and highlight and it is stunning.
just beautiful~~~!! ^______^
Thank you so much for watching ❤️️
I'm sure you have it could you please leave the link to a video on how to use Givenchy Prisme Libre? 🙌
Snow White🤍💜 So beautiful
When I saw a photo of the new make-up from Chanel, I thought - oh my God, what is this.
Those chanel blushes is for autumn-winter collection were we use more earth colored clothes like browns, greens, Beiges, black and more muted colors etc...and not bright colors like in the summer..I believe we will not have to worry much about matching the colors that much to work
Hi Angela, the lavender blush looks lovely on you but not a good choice for me. Passing on this one. I do enjoy the berry color - purchased that one!
Beautyfol 😍😍😍
I’ve just bought both the lavender blush and the Dior duo blush as well as the duo 100 contour/ highlighter but I haven’t tried them yet, I am afraid they will be disappointing but I had to have them for my birthday 😂
Beautiful you!!! The look is outstanding. Will you wear it in the winter? Dot
Hi Dot, I think these lavender cool colors will look even better in the winter. ❤️️
That new spring Dior quinte you have would look great with this blush!
Does your skin prep still consist of lancone genifique and regenerie triple serum?
Good review
I love the lavender blush! I don’t see it available yet in America?
Hi Arianna, It is supposed to launch in the end of August. I will make a post as soon as I see it available in USA. They released it a bit earlier in Europe and UK. xoxo
For me the Chanel lavender blush is a huge no... but you look beautiful with the blush on ❤
No, no, no, the blush alone is not enough, unlesssomeone is going for Vampire Diaries vibes :D. But I like the mix idea.
What type of undertone does the CT stick have? Does it lean warm, gold or yellow or is it cool or neutral?
i am not a foundation person ,i love shear product because i hate see makeup in my skin ,and i do love the charlotte tilbury stick
Hi Karmen, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Charlotte Tilbury stick. It's really valuable when we share our experience. ❤️️
if you still hv to apply everything else after the skin tint so what's the point?
Hi Charlotte, On a daily basis, I only apply powder in the center of my face but I will do that with every foundation or skin tint just because I have combo skin. If you like very light glowy finish, you may use it on its own. In this video I used Dior's foundation on top because I wanted a more sophisticated coverage and I wanted to demonstrate the product. It's not for everyone for sure but I like it a lot.
I appreciate your honesty always. ❤
Edit: I enjoy korean make up and also the idea behind this blush. But I liked one thing you said once. I don't work for make up, make up works for me. That's why I enjoy high qualify make up. I liked that idea of yours and now always opt for products that are easy to use❤
Edit: but the blush layered like this looks goegeous on you, you are such a beauty 😊
Edit: id opt for the 2 color chanel berry blush rather than the new one. Feels like more value for your money
Hi this blush is for autumn winter were se use more Faded colors clothes, it's not made to use in summer with bright colors.
I love the Charlotte stick idea!! I’m fair but NO for me on the blush
Sorry if i missed it, but what shade are you using in the charlotte tilbury stick?
1.5 fair. But in all other Charlotte Tilbury foundations I wear 1. I chose 1.5 intentionally because it is a light reflective product and if I choose my exact shade it may look unflattering. I explained that at some point in the video.
Sorry about that. I was listening and watching while sorting laundry. I heard u say about not being flattering but I missed the shade. Thank you
@@marikanespoli6525 Of course :) It's easy to skip.
Can't you order from Canada ? Wouldn't it be less expensive ? Curiosity !
Somedays i feel i want the blush and sometimes i don’t. I understand peoples mixed feeling
First and I was always planning to and definitely buying the Chanel lavender blush. Will be wearing it solo.
No way to the berry :)
Re that Charlotte Tilbury stick I much prefer the Natasha Denona HyGen Skinglass.
