C'è un " pasticciaccio brutto", come direbbe Gadda, dove si cerca di tenere in piedi antico e nuovo, rovinando il primo senza dar lustro al secondo! 19. I will GIVE YOU the KEYS of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you BIND on earth shall be BOUND in HEAVEN, and whatever you LOOSE on earth shall be LOOSED in HEAVEN.”
AND JESUS GAVE FULL AUTHORITY TO HIS ONE CHURCH:
MATTHEW 18:17
17. If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.
18. Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
JESUS WANTS UNITY NOT DIVISION:
JOHN 17:20-23
20. “I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word,
21. that THEY MAY ALL BE ONE; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22. The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that THEY MAY BE ONE even AS WE ARE ONE,
23. I in them and thou in me, that they may BECOME PERFECTLY ONE, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.
If you are a protestant Christian among thousands of denominations, you are in division from the one true Church, the Catholic Church founded by Christ.
That's why St. Paul teaches unity as well.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:16-17
16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 17. Because there is ONE BREAD, we who are many are ONE BODY, for we all partake of the ONE BREAD.
ROMANS 10:17
17. So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ.
Katia, after hearing, our reason must take over so that as true Christians we will be guided by the Holy Spirit through the one and only magisterium, teaching authority, left by Jesus in Peter and his Apostles to be orderly passed on at their death to designated leaders ordained by the imposition of hands, throughout the ages, until the end. This is why the Pope and all the bishops together, as true successors of Peter and the Apostles, will continue their task with the constant guidance of the Holy Spirit, as shown in:
JOHN 16, 13
13. When the SPIRIT of TRUTH comes, He WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Why must you listen to the one true Church founded by Christ?
St. Paul answers clearly, exposing the eternal essence of the Body of Christ when he tells Timothy where the one truth will always be found:
1 TIMOTHY 3:15
15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is THE CHURCH of the living God, THE PILLAR and FOUNDATION OF THE TRUTH.
And Jesus confirms that ONE Magisterium will be in charge of His flock after His Ascension to Heaven, making it very clear that they speak for Him ALWAYS, in matters of faith and :morals.
LUKE 10:16
16. “He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.
