No matter where my parents dragged us around the world (Dad was a Diplomat) we could enter any Catholic church and we would feel right at home because all our churches said mass in ONE language... Latin. I still remember about 70% of the Latin prayers and songs... after all these years. My fsvourites are the Gloria, The Credo, The Misterium Fidei, The Pater Nostre, and The Per Ipsum... Ialso love the "Litany of the Saints" and all the Requiem songs for the Requiem Mass especially the "Luce eterna." It's so sorrowful
