You were talking about ZZ top being angels...I have a great story along those lines. My daughter flew to a different state to meet up with her grandpa to go to a ZZ Top concert. Well, the tickets were sold out so he didn't get any. My daughter was all bummed out and was talking about how much she wanted to see them. They're walking in the airport, and a guy with a beard is walking next to them. He heard that she was disappointed with not getting tickets, and he stopped them and handed them two tickets to the concert. My daughter thanked him and asked him who he was, and he said God lol. 😊

Saw them in Edmonton, Alberta in the 80s and they were awesome! Check out Legs and the spinning guitars. So far all of these are from the Eliminator album. I went home and asked my hubby, who was furious that they had even mentioned it in front of me 🤣 but he did tell me what it was. 15 years with the police and it took me 9 years to hear about that, still cracks me up laughing.

I've seen ZZ Top in concert twice! The first time they had a white buffalo rise up onto the stage from below with a desert scene on the backdrop behind it! This was a 4th of July Jam in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1976. GREAT concert and it lasted 12 hours! The only other group I remember in it was Blue Oyster Cult! Those were good times!

I remember him at around his mid 30s, giving me a ride through the streets of Salem Oregon in his Vintage Corvette with the window down, at night playing this song loud. I had to plug my ears because his speakers would blow you away. I closed my eyes most of the time too. It was a crazy wild ride and have to admit... Fun!

Saw ZZ Top when they were doing the Eliminator tour. The whole concert was AMAZING when the played the song Lwgs they had a whole stage of Las Vegas show girls while they played. I’m sure the guys were in heaven Legs for miles. They are my absolute favorite band.

Saw ZZ Top when they were doing the Eliminator tour. The whole concert was AMAZING when the played the song Lwgs they had a whole stage of Las Vegas show girls while they played. I’m sure the guys were in heaven Legs for miles. They are my absolute favorite band.

was a total blast when this came out in the 80s. i was a teen. one time i heard someone jamming to this at a party, but they had the lyrics wrong as they belted out "every girls crazy bout a shy gas man" hilarious moment in time. thanks for the memory reboot
