  • Happy new week, saints! As Bible students, we have the opportunity to examine the life of Jesus in the context of history. We can look back at the time he lived. We can study the culture he was immersed in, and we can understand the depth and signifiance of his actions. These benefits weren't available to the gospel writers. This week, as we study the book of John take time to reflect on how blessed we are to have a such a poetic primary source on the life and times of Jesus. We may not have witnessed Jesus first hand, but we've got a chance to read from someone who did. What's more is that we have a chance to fully appreciate every detail, and we have a chance to apply it to our lives. May you be blessed as you study with Brother David today's lesson.
“Ruac tëë wa̱nɔ a /ka̱n ɣɔw ni cak, kä Ruac tëë kɛɛl kɛ Kuoth, kä Ruac ɛ jɛn Kuoth.” ‭‭Jɔ̱ɔ̱n‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
