Absolutely loved this video. What a great idea. What I would also like to see is when you do your does and don’t outfits if you could show the do with both pieces. Often you remove one and replace it but I always wonder how would you have styled the other piece. Thank you.

This was so timely and helpful, thanks Lydia ☺️ I’m following you for couple of years now and have transformed my wardrobe quite a lot thanks to you. I’ve just had a major wardrobe revision (5hours long!🙈) and it’s so satisfying to get that clarity and overview when unused items are removed. Also so much easier to understand what I need and if I need it at all. Also after learning so much from you and imitating you, it feels so good to come to a level where I feel confident in taking liberty to pick my own pieces that I know you wouldn’t wear but that suit my personality, and still see that the entire outfit works. Thank you for all your lessons, I’m so happy we have a teacher like you💗

Yes - more like this please!! Awhile back, you had suggested taking pics of outfits that worked and putting them in a file on your phone. I did that and refer to that file whenever I have a what to wear moment, so thank you!! 😊

Thanks Lydia! I follow very few influencers as most have copycat outfits and call it their personal style! Personal style is a very unique and individualistic style and very true to oneself!
You definitely have a personal style that is not necessarily copied! I know this because I have been following you for a long time.
From this video, yes I like my Denim Shirts fuss free, just plain and classic, I do love the White Ruffle blouse and have one definitely different kind and I also like mixed tonals than an all one tonal look!
I like the idea of doing a couple of no buy or low buy months and just experiment with what I already own. In my younger days I thought more pieces will give me more outfits, but now I know you have to experiment with what you have to know what works for you!
I also integrate pieces that pop up my skin tone and look good on me but not necessarily that you would wear or endorse!
But your style has made me better at making more solidified choices and not making wasteful purchases!
    Thanks,
    Much love…❤❤

I like the concept of the video, after all we learn from mistakes. I remember that all brown look with clogs. I must say that I thought back than that the shoes ruined the entire outfit 🙈🙊 Clogs kind of cut off your feet. Last outfit proved it perfectly, you looked great in white trainers and all brown outfit. Great lesson Lydia 🤎

You mentioned a couple of times about how you’ve sold pieces that don’t quite work in your wardrobe and I’d love to see a video about how you do that! I think it goes really well with your focus on buying a few quality pieces, because the times I opt for cheaper out of the fear- “what if I don’t like it or use it as much as I think?” I know how to sell household items/furniture but I wouldn’t even know wear to start with wardrobe items…

At the beginning of Spring and Autumn I go through all of my clothes for the season and try on my lesser worn pieces to assess whether I am going to keep them or not. The "no's" get sold on Ebay and I am left with only the best. Im shocked at just how much I have gotten rid of this year. It's a little heartbreaking to get rid of the pieces that I have barely worn (some even still with tags on them) but I learn so much from the necklines, colours, boot fit etc that just don't work for me. Keeping a paired down, curated wardrobe really makes picking outfits so much easier. I guess the mistakes are inevitable and just part of the journey.

I ask as you didn’t like the chocolate brown tonal look nor the dark navy/black outfit… which in comparison to the looks you like, did overwhelm you and your ‘brightness’.
