Lydia, I enjoy your videos so much! Here's why: First of all, your style is so timeless and classic. You provide such substantial content in your videos. You talk about the quality of pieces and why you chose the fabric (i.e. merino wool for layering), and provide several examples on how to style one piece. You talk about the choice of footwear with your outfits and how to change it up. You talk about cooler temps and how to add practicality to the outfit. I could go on and on - You are SO very talented! I look forward to your uploads everyday so I don't miss anything! Remember, keep being you!
I don't have a capsule wardrobe (I'd never be able to limit myself), but I often use a capsule wardrobe idea for travelling, it means i can pack less, but still be versatile. I do use some of the ideas though - I do have a limited colour palette, its not all neutrals, as I love colour - I stick to navys, creams, reds, burgundy, and pretty much every blue, with the odd piece in warm beige. Reds and the brighter blues are accent colours, but creams, navy, and more muted blues are my mainstay colours. I do try and make sure my pieces will mix and match with other items, and I've definitely started asking myself if I have something similar before buying.
I was hoping you would touch on the very outfit that you're wearing. I do love the white/butter/navy combo. I also like grey/taupe/ shades as well - the earth tones. Thanks for the lovely /tasteful tutorials.

If you forget about the number of items a typical capsule wardrobe has, I think you could definitely have a capsule wardrobe. I feel like your staples mix and match really well and you’ve such a cohesive colour palette. When I started with capsule wardrobes I tried to stick to the “33 items” but now I probably have more like 50-60 per season but they all follow the same style and colour palette and everything goes together. Capsules don’t have to be limited or boring 😊
I love your capsule wardrobe videos because it helps me see how to buy ONE or TWO pieces to add to the very small investment wardrobe I’ve got to try to expand my outfits a lot!!

I am confused by comments about coats dressing up or impacting an outfit in any way. I want my coat to look nice but to me it has little to do with what I wear under it. I put my coat on in my house, get in my car in my garage, drive to my destination & within 2 minutes, I am inside the building with my coat off.
