The tracing lines to show where to shoot the nails from the back - genius! Thanks for posting.

Remember that there is no such thing as a perfect video. Also you are at least brave enough to put videos out for everyone to critique so forget the haters and keep it up.

Looked at several videos trying to come up with an idea on hanging drills. Don't care about the camera work, the video was the best I've seen on how to do it.

First, I wouldn't know a perfect instruction video if it jumped up and slapped me in the face. Second, GREAT instructions. Easy to follow and I really appreciate no awful background music. Straightforward and precise...excellent...Only problem I'll have is attaching it without anyone to help me with that, so I have to work on my approach before I make it or figure something else out. Thanks for posting...Love this...

Like you’re designed! How to chuckle when you were talking about cost of the plywood but then I looked when you record this, just goes to show how much things change. Loved your tip about waiting to put the back on and tracing the outline of the frame so you knew where to put the brad nails.

Brilliant! Absolutely BRILLIANT! Even though I have a different brand of cordless tools, I'll bet your measurements are universal. Every other organizer hadn't taken into account that the bases were the one thing that all tools had in common. Thanks for doing this and showing us how to make it.

Thank you! I have been looking for storage ideas for my tools and love the fact that you even included the plans. All the other ones I viewed didn’t really go over the measurements let alone the plans. I plan on trying to do this today.

quit apologizing for the camera work , would not have noticed if you didn't point out. your design is really good. I have looked at many for my drill storeage and I am going with yours. kudo's to you and many thanks. also, your attached plans are excellent. once again , thank you for your time and effort in presenting this video. Well done !

Fantastic design ! Fantastic end-product ! I built it in my open door garage, it took me several days, but I pieced together your intricate, but excellent design. It was interesting, a Landscaper, Manuel Ramirez, came over to me, and he says, "I see you are working hard, Senior, on your wooden wall hands to hold your tools. In Honduras, the Home Improvement store have very strong Plastic Hands, already made, to put up on your wall, to hold your tools for you. Very inexpensive, but, very strong, Senior".

As has been mentioned, don't worry about the camera work. We are often our own worst critics. It's really not bad at all.
I've been building lots of things for a long long time. The project, very simple by design, but also very aesthetically pleasing and very functional. Great job.

The camera work is important but you are explaining good so you are doing great and you did better than most people by showing plans with sizes to scale. I want to make one of them and need to find measurements and drawing to work from. I'm in my 60s and just trying to learn the hobby great job

Awesome Video! I care about the basics and I don't need my hand held. I am sitting here designing my own, except I am cutting everything on my laser and not the saw. This provided me with the basics and I am customizing it to my tools. Ignore the back seat drivers.

I didn't see anything wrong with your camera work, and I gained a lot of information and ideas from your video. I don't have many wood working tools. Mostly mechanic's tools, no brad nailer, but that's where the cordless drill comes into play.

For a second video..... Great JOB! The cabinet idea is a winner as well! I would suggest a 2nd camera.... that way you can edit out the camera blocks, just set them in a crossfire then you will never be blocking both.

  • @billyblackie9417
    @billyblackie9417 Год назад

Your camera work might not be 100% but you did the right thing by placing the camera back and high but not far away so viewers can still see your technique and what you are doing which is viewers need to see. You haven't been blocking the view very much and the only thing missing is close direct view but overall you thought of the viewers and made a good job showing a good view at all times. Great job on the project and the camera view and you will master whatever you need to improve camera techniques as you are already showing great efforts in bringing the viewers into looking at your actions. Good man it is not easy but it gets better all you need now is to proof view your videos and see what improvements you might want to make on camera angles

Looks nice.... Looking at building one. I would use french cleats to hang it. Make it way easier. The only different would likely do dado slots in the top shelf for Masonite dividers that I can adjust the width. That way any cored tools don't get the cords tangled.

Love the cabinet and I think I’m going to build one like it. If there is a critique at all it is that in the title you say charging and storage, but I don’t see the charging area. There is a charger up on top but that would not be very convenient Maybe on my build I’ll leave out the side shelves and put in a charging shelf. Btw, I like the hanger for the saws all, mine is always in the way, or hidden somewhere...

Great design! I only have half the number of drill/drivers so I will need a smaller shelf. Two suggestions. Get a larger bottle of glue. And when you were feeling inside the slot to nail the back on you made me cringe. Nails will follow the grain and go sideways into your finger. They don't always shoot straight. I have the scar to prove it.
