Not a fan, not because it's pay to win (though that's a huge/obvious downside) It's also because it's another thing that will make everyone less unique. I'm already tired of seeing ghultures everywhere, now (mostly) everyone will have the same pet too? Maybe I care more about this since I personally make my pets/mounts match my stitches, but it's disappointing knowing that if you want the best stats you gotta give stuff like that up.
I use to support only mount stitching for stats and not pets, but if it's going to be like this, then we should have pet sets be stitchable too IMO
Completely agree and I was thinking this since the beginning of the game. Diversity has always been an issue in this game, but now even more so.
I was thinking on them making a pet stitch after all it is a wizard game why can’t we cast a spell on our pet to look different

KI: we need to nerf spells and resist and damage because of power creep

Maybe that's why they nerfed the spells and introducing stat reworks...

Ha! Too true, too true... Its like the Devs recognize that power creep is a problem, but the VP of Marketing from EA has KingsIsle's balls and wallet in his hand.
The way you get max stats on a fire is:
- Triple crit triple damage (dealer, giver, giver, assailant, striker, striker)
- Wand
- NO MOUNT, YOU STILL USE GHULTURE
182% dmg 100% crit, at least until Karamelle. The extra crit you get from Fire Striker should be enough to let you get max crit after crit decay in Karamelle as long as they increase crit jewels to about 20.
I really dont like how they put the set effects on the crowns items is it just me?

whats the best way to get a fire pet without crowns? like what pet should i hatch with or are there any tips? im lvl 71 but im very new to pets and stuff!
Take your current pet and go to the pet kiosk in the pet pavilion in wizard city. There are pets that other people basically “post” and you can hatch with them for gold. Most of them are pretty good, and when you breed your pets they may not be the best at first so you’ll have to try multiple times for the specific pet traits u want. Hope this helped.

Kyle Girouard Any pet that gives you fire blade are good. Traits should be something like triple damage, double resist. You could also get triple crit and double damage.
Kyle Girouard Ornery Kookabura and raging bull both give you a fire blade. Imo kookabura is the better one.
I prefer an armaments pet just because I can get a third 45% fire blade.

Storm is the critical school. Fire is the damage school. Fire should be able to get max critical but at the expense of their superior damage. Currently, fire is just so much better. They need a crit nerf.

Storm and fire main difference is how they deal damage - upfront or over time
Fire spells always had with initial and over time combined more base damage then storm, best example storm lord vs fire dragon;
But storms have more critical since critical impacts initial damage more then over time damage and also helps given how storm is most affected by shields, which fire is not
So to conclude fire should have the most damage and storm most critical
@@AlexandraM689 Their style of play has nothing to do with the stats they specialize in. A fire should NOT be able to get more damage than storm with 100% critical.

I mean, this pet isn't really ptw since you don't need it to win its just pay to get better, which speeds up the game. Also you can get this pet for free by hatching with someone

Is Acid rain core or Death ghulture good for death wizards?
Death ghulture is probably better mainly because of the extra feint, that’s really good for stacking and getting a lot of damage
i have an acid rain core on mega, it's amazing!
currently leveling up a death ghulture too, its on adult, i like it so far but i'd say that acid rain core is better with cards n everything.

Thinking cap raises the stat that damage uses.
Putting thinking cap still gives the +3 and then he ups the other 2 critical stats that makes him reach 100% critical

Hey so I’m planning on getting back into the game and go all out and grind but is it still worth because I seen all the nerfs to spells did they counter balance that or nah also is it starting to get to pay to win because if so I might give up on wizard101 especially since my old account is locked and I can’t get it back
No it's not worth it. The Nerfs ruined everything. But you do what you want.

Can someone explain the point of the thinking cap I’ve wondered why people use it but I can’t find anything about it so if someone could explain it quick I’d appreciate it, thank you
It allows for the damage stats to all go up by one, but instead of using a boon the thinking cap also lets you get more critical to help with the max crit build.
Increasing the stats of a pet slightly raises the boosts you get from talents. You use Thinking Cap in order to get more will which increases the damage and critical the pet gives
Thinking cap affects intelligence i think. And the intelligence of a pet affects mostly offensive stats like damage, critical, piercing etc. So raising your intellectual by thinking cap raisee those stats
