Literally the last time I paid any attention to Drake prior to this beef was Hotline Bling, and that was just because it was useful in lectures for my undergrad students at the time. Kendrick is a lyrical genius, as evidenced by his Pulitzer, as well as all his flowers from most relevant and meaningful members of the industry/genre. He speaks on actual issues, and encourages systemic change. Drake is a fucking joke, a plant propped up by the industry, and a skid mark on the underwear of hip hop.
