- Drake THREATENS J Cole For Supporting Kendrick Lamar
Sooo it looks like Drake is feeling some type of way about J. Cole not showing him any support during his beef with Kendrick, and Drizzy’s fans are now calling Cole “Judas” for seemingly betraying Drake…
However, others are saying Cole simply realized that Drake was using him to get some legitimacy in the hip-hop community and that he never really cared about Cole anyway…which goes in line with that bar on “Not Like Us” where Kendrick says Drake is not a colleague but a “colonizer.”
So what’s the deal with J. Cole and his role in this beef? Did he switch sides and betray Drake or did he simply decide to stay neutral??
Let’s break it down!!
#drake #jcole #kendricklamar #dreamville - Развлечения
People forgetting Cole & Kendrick been cool way before Drake.
Not true j Cole and Drake were friends before Kendrick even came out
@@moss23boyyou just on here saying shit
@@Overqualified1 That's why I ignored him. Real day 1 K Dot fans know.
cole and drake go way back they even almost signed to the same label, look up the proof
@@moss23boy cole help put Kendrick on
J Cole apologizing shows maturity.
It shows he fear Kendrick in a rap battle
@@mneytimetv1849I don’t see a fear in his face but you go keep talking
He's scared fr
@@SelinaJonathan-zf5rq You have to get his glaze out of your eyes to see 👌🏾
Kendrick destroyed DRAKE COLONIZED A$$!
Drake is such a crybaby. Man I can’t stand his pretentiousness
That is what all Kardashians do!
Nah i respect cole💀. That shit was too crazy and cole said fuck that, i see it coming💀
Because Cole doesn't have anything to prove Cole can go body for body with them anytime he wants but he knows it's just a waste of his time so just watch she's going to come out with an album that's just going to pop
Cole was warned by Kendrick's camp (Shoolboy Q) to stay away. he did not see shit coming, he was riding with that PDF File Drake for years, while Kendrick knew he was bad news
🤣😂🤣😂
Its not about proving anything his association to Drake was enough 😂@brandonmarzano8862
@@NoOne-lc1uefor years? Where do you get your facts from bro cuz it wasn't till 21 that Cole started even doing features
I think J Cole is really all about the music while Drake is in it for the fame and fortune. I respect J Cole for his decision, this had nothing to do with him.
💯 FACTS ☝️
Drake Kardashian-Jenner bbl & all!😂😂😂
Kendrick is about the music too. But he’s about being the best. I’m mad Cole apologized because I wanted him to run the fade too!! They was big 3 to me, until I found ghostwriters in Drake’s resume. But Cole and Kendrick were my top 2. It’s just weak.
I don’t think it has anything to do with fortune and fame
Drake Cole and Kendrick already has all that. They’re at the tail end of their careers.
This was more so about being the best from MC standpoint
Kendrick dissed both of them and Cole didn’t stand up for himself Drake did.
And if it were the other way around where Drake apologized instead of Cole, y’all wouldn’t be saying any of this y’all would be saying Cole is a warrior and Drake is a coward
@@K.j.5280 Cole stood up for himself but drake and Kendrick had beef since wayyyyyyy long ago. Cole beefs with no one. It's no point in starting a beef because someone's feelings were hurt. Kendrick essentially dissed drake, barely Cole.
He apologized because Kendrick snatching chains and burning tattoos
You mean the same Guy that whoped P. DIDDY ass because Puffy wanted to Violate Kendrick. LOL yall Kendrick fan Like Glazing so hard is like yall invented the word...
🤣🤣🤣. nah Cole is a real solid dude.He does a lot of community help and he did the right thing stepping out of this. He's a good man.
😂😂😂😂
Cole just saved him self he was gonna end up cooked like drake
🤣😂🤣😂
cole really a middle child
😂😂😂😂😂 for real dawg
Lol funny enough, I feel like Cole is the big brother of them, and Aubrey acting like the middle child. And I say Kendrick is the youngest because even though he’s an old soul, we all know the youngest always is the loudest, bossiest, most favored, and always doing the most most out of the children lol.
Facts, and is invisible in the family, hes doing the role pretty well
Oldest is the most responsible, Youngest is the loudest and most adored, but the middle child is the quiet one toiling away behind the scenes. Kendrick is the middle child, Cole proved he's the oldest, so where does that leave Drake?
Folks supporting Drake as a rap artist is crazy, I get following him as a pop artist, but the dude has a ton of ghost writers. That shit is wild
Bruh, almost every single artist in every genre has people helping them write songs that’s just how the industry works, even Kendrick has people helping him write, this argument is so played out
@@dirtyg7256 There is a difference of collaborating with other artists and ghost writing as a rapper. If you are a popstar and don't identify as a rapper, that's fine and expected. But if you think you are going to claim greatest MC or rapper, that is the 1st disqualifying item on the criteria box. There is a huge difference between someone performing a cover to a song someone else wrote and an artist performing their song. Hence the Mike Jack to Prince even though they were "POP"
@@ace2627 you’re just making excuses man, you realize Drake has written songs for Kanye, Lil Wayne, Alicia keys and many other music artists across the industry right? Like HE was doing the writing, this whole hating Drake thing is just a wierd internet trend like how people used to hate on Nickleback simply because it was funny and trending on the internet, if you don’t like Drake then just say that, you don’t have to cope and make weird excuses for other artists
@@dirtyg7256 I'm not making excuses for other artists; however, you claiming that he wrote for lil Wayne is unfounded. Lil Wayne used to ghost write for drake all the time when he first signed him. So much that if you go back and listen to any of drakes popular songs, you hear lil Wayne cadence, style and punch lines. Not to mention most of drakes famous features, he is stealing someone else flow. He is known for doing this and many real artists have called him out on this for years. There are literally video proof of him stealing flows and jumping on trending songs and holding the artists ransom by asking for feature money for a song he requested to be on or forcing the artist to remove the original song. Tell me that is not shady?
People will say any lie to do damage control for Drake. Kendrick has people help him produce everything but his lyrics. Drake didn't even write back to back. Daylyte wrote that for him. That's lame bro. Let Drake stay pop. Stop trying to champion him in hip hop. Stop it. He can't speak to the culture where hip hop has its roots. That's why he hops on tracks with people who can. He is very talented but he is pop
J Cole is very intelligent... Stay up BRUH ✊✊✊
i fawk with Cole's music, but if he really was smart, he would've figured Drake was bad news, just from the vibes this fool puts out. too much ego, too much manufactured confidence
@@NoOne-lc1ueprolly why he apologized and he can let this shi play out, he can disassociate himself with drake without being called a traitor or whatever
Drake can’t hold Cole’s and K-Dots jock strap!! Drake’s never been a rapper; he’s been the Taylor swift of the rap game. And it’s given him a lot of money, and he’s been successful with it; hats off but it’s the big two in the rap game. Drakes not in that three.
Cole was trying to bring peace but Dot saw through Drake and let his friend Cole know to not get involved. I could be wrong but Drake kept throwing Cole under the bus in his diss and Dot respected his friends decision.
That part.
I think J. Cole wanted to do some friendly competition. Ever since Middle Child, he's been sounding like he's in battle mode. However, Kendrick and Drake have personal beef and Cole don't hate either of them so he bowed out. At first, I thought it was a bad move but in hindsight, Cole made the smartest move he could.
Cole is a Jedi lol
Cole actually apologized because Schoolboy Q told him to exit the beef (cuz it was about to get ugly).
What?? 😂😂 J Cole got u on medication
@@akokwemaxwell3055 its true
J Cole is extremely smart and he actually respect Kendrick a lot. He knows Kendrick meant no harm but J Cole's verses were very direct and it could create animosity between him and K-Dot... He did the right thing, am sure Kendrick appreciated it too.
Also on a funny note, maybe J Cole also heard a bit of what Kendrick was cooking and immediately dipped 😅😅 just kidding
I agreed with 50 Cents when he warned Drake to leave Kendrick alone during the early stage of their beef. But nah...Drake thought he was on top of the world. Now he's got what he deserve. I don't blame J. Cole for staying away from the fire, because when you play with fire, you get burn.
I don’t know about that 50 was hyping Drake up. He was the first one to post family matters lol
@@originalman8143 Absolutely! 50 first posted family matters, but he later warned Drake to leave Kendrick alone. I guess Drake felt like Kendrick couldn't do him no harm. lol
Euphoria will do that to you
@@eldrickemc4602 😂😂😂EXACTLY..!!
50 cents always saying facts they just don’t be listening
It’s always cringing hearing that interview with Drake b*tching about that Control verse. He took that ish so personally when the only one that should have tripped was Big Sean, if anything.
I personally wouldn’t have responded to it but I can see why Drake was annoyed by it.
“It was one of those fleeting twitterrr frenzys” 💅 3:03 Drake a certified white woman
There's a valley girl underneath that hood persona
Listening to him talk, I felt like I was listening to Gangtalicious from the Boondocks
@@Theescapist_87 💀💀💀 pretty ironic because Drake snitched on himself on heart part 6 like he did on the show
"Now everybody's like ooooovvver it. Nobody playyys it. It'ssss jjuust llliikke...." That was the certified moment lmao. Bro might as well play the Ken doll in the next Barbie movie he so white. 😂🤣🤣
Drake is literally a White Jewish boy from Canada, bar mitzvah and all, unironically. What did you expect him to sound like?
Drake was gonna use J Cole as a shield
That boi Cole did the math and said it wasn't worth it while Drake continuing until he lost everything.
Drake is absolutely responsible for causing drama 💀 dude a snake 🐍
Cole jumped in for the sport, and vacated because it's was more than that.
Schoolboy Q let Cole know what was about to unfold.
Why cole look like he dont wanna mess wit drake. Seriously, anybody notice that he acts awkward every time he around drake?
I think Cole honestly used Drake, J.Cole made first person shooter, and Drake also used Cole to get that 13th top billboard hit.
I haven’t been a fan of drake since he left Wayne. Don’t get me wrong Drakes first 4-5 years in the game he felt like he was real one, I think the fame got to his head, and he switched up to hit a different audience. And now it’s too late to go back.
Cuz Drake is the Master manipulator
you can see how uncomfortable jcole looks during that shoutout lmao
He new it's not what he wanted but after the calls he got he understood the beef was just not about him,,, ColeWorld we stand 🇿🇦💯👌🙌
Drake ain’t seeing number 1 for a minute. Hold this L. 😂😂😂
I think its pretty clear that Cole never picked a side with anybody. Even if he stayed in the beef, he was not choosing Drake over K Dot or vice versa. He was always cool with both and he moved like that. He shouted out K Dot on First Person Shooter even when Drake and Kendrick clearly ain't working together. Drake was cool with it then so why be mad now? They the big 3, whether they wanna claim it or not, not the big 2. Cole ain't gotta pick sides, he got his own side. And all these people trying to paint Cole as Judas and claiming he used to be they favorite rapper before the apology clearly knew nothing about Cole.
I agree. I also think after "like that" Jcole was triggered. Hence, reason for 7 minutes drill but had to rethink, analyse the situation and realized things will get dirty
I don’t understand the picking a side narrative when Cole got dissed just like Drake
I don’t think he should’ve been like “oh I’m on Drakes side” but he should’ve absolutely stood up for himself at least like Drake did
@@K.j.5280 I didn't understand it either.
That wasn't lame that was SMART 🤓 OKAY... Look how DRAKE looking Right now 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 No better for his I be at DAVE AND BUSTER @$$ 🤣😂🤣😂
Cole isn't the type to 'pick a side' in the grand theme of this. Honestly, I was surprised he even did something like 7 Minute Drill.
Cos he first he is a rapper
I don’t understand why y’all be saying pick a side when Kendrick dissed Cole too 🤣😂 yall be trying to make it seem like it had nothing to do with Cole like nah he a MC you supposed to get in there and battle with whoever plays with your name like you’ve been claiming you would
Cole wasnt lying when he said "we turning your song to a funeral" in FPS 😂 lowkey foreshadowing Drakes Fall Off 💀
Respect for Cole, what a smooth move.... It takes a real man to do what he did.
By the way, we all got instincts.
#From South Africa.
Kdot reminded Drake that he not a god 😂😂 he not so “untouchable” now
J COLE, got it exactly right! Cole does not owe Drake anything!
Drake Got What He Deserved😂😂😂😂😂
COLE WORLD !!!!😂😂😂😂😂
ColeWorld we here we stand 🙌🇿🇦
COLESLAW 😂
4:48 is wrong af lmao. Kendrick been throwing shots back and fourth with Drake since the 2013 BET Cypher. "Like That" is when he finally did it directly.
Finally someone said it they even on all the stars Kenny sneak dissed drake
Cole didn't want to be in the middle of this obviously personal altercation between two ppl.
if I was in his shoes, I would chose peace over war any day. That’s just me. I don’t blame cole at all. good call.
How can you “switch sides” when Cole drop off even before the war started, like bro be real🤨
Yeah, I don’t agree with that switching sides, narrative, switching sides would be if J. Cole started dissing Drake but he didn’t do that. He kinda just waived the white flag, then disappeared.
what exactly did they want from Cole in tbe first place? Drake got bodied and would have with support from 100 emcees...he even shot himself in the foot. J Cole kept it 100
Cole just did what any wise person with their ego in check would do. It would have been dumb to not step out of this hot mess when it started getting dirty and mud started flying. Is it for a friendly competition to put on a show for the fans but it got dirty quick and he did the right thing to step out of it because he’s not somebody anybody really has any problems with. It’s good to stay that way when you don’t know what people are doing behind closed doors.
Drake trying to get Cole to pick sides is hilarious, without Cole inviting him to do FPS he wouldn't even be in the conversation.
FPS was Drake song what are you talking about?
And how is he telling him to pick a side when Kendrick is the one who diss Cole first?
Swear yall just be saying anything🤣😂.
I'm from Compton and J Cole became a man after he apologized I love all that boyish s*** alone which the rest of them will step up and be men too
J Cole stayed neutral, this beef wasn't about J Cole, Kendrick Lamar doesn't have beef with J Cole
That’s not true
Kendrick dissed Cole on like that if it wasn’t about J. Cole, then Kendrick wouldn’t have had any bars for him. He would’ve only shot at Drake get real
Drake has been exposed to the Max!!!
🗣 “I like how ol girl on Big Boy said, I DON’T THINK THAT PUT KENDRICK IN A BOX… & you can see Drake ignored it…. So Sensitive.”🤦🏽♂️
10:39 "I remember you was conflicted" line popped up in my head and now it's stuck 😭😭😭
Damn, Kendrick really is the boogeyman. Dude gave Cole nightmares 😭😂
Don't worry we here waiting ColeWorld😅 1 v 1,,, just remember Cole's writing skills are just as bad,, he Rapper not a Pop artist like BBL DRIZZY 😅😂
drake you cooked
He got burned, roaster overcooked 😂😂😂
I'm sure he was told what was coming. He said in the lyrics that anyone standing by him would get looked at.
Not only does J Cole apologizing show maturity, but like Royce da 5 9 said, why you go watch TV in a house that’s burning down. I believe Cole seen the play, and that Drake was attempting to use him against K dot. Truth is both JCole and Kdot both are cut from the same cloth. You don’t see them on social media, they actually stray away from the spot light, and they rooted within their communities, polar opposite of Drake. Drake has no cultural footing in hip hop, which is why I argue Drake is a performer not a rapper. Now in Hindsight Mos Def’s comment rigs truer then ever.
Booooommmmmm!!!!
cole just doing his thing. making music. chilling, and he didnt even diss anyone on the track, just fire rap
Lmaoo the way J.cole said 🥴 before answering that questions
I missed the part in the video where you described how Drake threatened Cole...
"I heard you was conflicted" 🤣🤣
😂😂😂how conveniently funny and appropriate. good one
I honestly don’t blame J.Cole for switching sides I mean it’s safer for him yhat way
I have absolutely no respect for drake he's not from this country nor the environments we live so everything about him is a lie Malibu most wanted in a flesh
Whoever was Drake's English teacher needs to be fired, he's said like enough times for me to make it a drinking game and get wasted
Thanks for the overview
J. Cole apologizing for some little rap competition. Muhammad Ali would never apologize for beatin’ yo ass.
Cole did what he thought was right and I will not criticize him.
Someone said Cole realized that Kendrick and Drake actually had hate for each other. So he let them handle they business
5:23 "Your best work is a light pack", Daylyt is/was drakes ghost writer, ima just leave that bit of context there for the people in the back who ain't on game yet, explore your own rabbit holes is you chose.
That nardwaur bit gets me every time lol
One of the best reactions ever lol
“Control came and went”🤣 folks still bumping and TALKING about it.
There's no betrayal...
Nah he saw what the vulture was doing.
The Vulture was gona use Cole as a human shield an take those sneaky diss tracks an leave the building but Cole spotted that goofy move an stepped aside an let em spar alone in the ring 😅😅
Cole did himself right, I cant fathom idolizing a wanna be artist that dont even make his own music that really only sounds annoying especially when he raps. And people saying there isnt any proof of Drake with minors what about the girl he kissed on stage and all the times he admits he looks at high school girls, privately messages girls (Not the GROWN WOMEN), and that he knows hes a sicko? Either yall on the same type of ish or just crazy, maybe both
What's cole hiding that he don't want to come out.
Yes and Kendrick was gonna let the cat out the bag 😂
Nothing but it's better if it's a 1 v 1,,, he even said come at me with your best shot my chin is out,,, 😅😂
😂 this comment made me poop harder in the toilet I even farted
"that's a K with all these 9" also have meaning of kendrick calling himself a 10 rapper while drake n cole are just 9, which alludes to them being lower than him in context of levels as a rapper.
Cole chillin
You do know Prince and Mike was cool and Prince used to go the studio. When Mike was recording. Smh
When Michael died, he didn't want to continue making music for a minute...
Hard competition...
At first i was cole apologizing, but after seeing this shit unfold, i dont blame him, genuinely, they told cole Kendrick is dead serious
J Cole did the right thing. It's takes a mature person to admit to his shortcomings. I have a lot of respect for him.
Live your TRUTH. Stand on your TRUTH. Forget fans n Stan's. You got to live with yourself.
I respect his choice and I think that moment of publicly choosing your spirit over ego when it means people may call you weak or other things that affect the ego young folks will have this example to remember. In life sometimes you make a choice that you realize is out of alignment with your spirit. Cole said you can course correct. You can apologize.
I feel him too because imagine you love someone. You love their art and you have to tell lies to win a battle. That’s wack. It’s different if you mean it. We felt Cole when he said he didn’t mean it. It wasn’t out of fear. He just didn’t have it in him to lie to win a battle for nothing.
Let's put it like this: years ago Diddy slapped Drake and his bodyguard just watched. Also years ago, Diddy confronted Kendrick and J Cole fought him physically. The culture was never for Drake
Drake is like your neighbor's pet rattle snake
J. Cole didn't want to get cooked like Drake did.
Hell he wanted no smoke with dot
Much Respect 🌹
Drake & Kendrick have been hating each other for a while and from Cole's perspective I don't think he should support a guy he recently became cool with and diss a dude who is more of a brother than a friend to him, It's better to remain neutral.
Kendrick never liked drake ..he envy his spot, there is an old song about his girl listening to drake and he asked if he is better than him ,that was jealous
" I remember when you was conflicted " 😂 love ya cole
10:40 I remeber you was conflicted
5:41 i remember seeing a a clip of Prince say that, lbvs
"I Remember You Was Conflicted Misusing Your Influence." 😅
Rather have a kendrick feature than a drake feature on my last album
Kendrick didn't want Drake beating Michael Jackson with that 14th number 1 and so he decided to end this boys career
J cole never had a place in the beef drake tried to set it up to where he would have help against kendrick but cole was only thinkin on a personal level drake been disliked kendrick bc of control and thought if he formed a friendship with cole he could later use it to take down kendrick Jermaine is a smarter man tho knowing when to get out the way
How do you say “it all started when J. Cole quoted Drake” then immediately point to a decade long rivalry that both people participated in?
I was initially mad at Cole for the apology, and I stand corrected. He knows what about him and what isn’t. He made the correct decision for that situation. It was clearly not about him, he caught a couple strays but he was never the target.
Talk crazy in public, apologize the same. Everyone else just wants a show.
The answer is so obvious this shouldn't even be a debate. Cole ipdid the right thing now all you people who said he did the wrong thing are not like us and the reason why real hip hop isn't respected 😂. Now Kendrick won admit it against a shallow shadow artist who steals people work.
15:01 the fact that cole and Kendrick were cool first is crazy how Kendrick is the opp now 🤣 😅
Why is he leaving? I'd stay if was innocent.
Nah, I respect Cole for squashing his part in all this. Hearing him talk about his spiritual journey, and the dis-ease that comes from doing something out of sync with that journey, is relatable to me.
I hope he and Dot are good.
BBL Drizzy tho. Dude seems like a nasty piece of work!
It Just Shows How Mature J Cole Is. It Take A Lot To Apologize. Plus, J Cole Values His Friends. It’s Hard Out Here When You Don’t Have Real People Around You.
"Which is another name for dogs" 😆
My God looks down on J Cole and valued him golden for he has been proven a friend in fire that only mercury can withstand
Cole had to get wind that this was gonna go somewhere else.
The Metro verse was recorded a few years ago (leaked) and was repackaged as part of a diss album after the fact. Personally I'm not mad that he apologized, I just wish he did it on any other day and not April 7 lololol
But where was the threat?
