    So helpful! It looks so much better with a clean back! I will definitely use this the next time I make an alpha.

    Thank you so much! I watched several tutorials on this technique before I found yours. You’re definitely a teacher. All of the others left me confused. Your instructions are the best of the best. The first place I’m going to go when learning something new is straight to your channel. ❤

      Thank you for your support! I’m glad this tutorial was useful for you: I have to admit this technique wasn’t easy to explain thoroughly without teaching in person since it requires several things to keep in mind so breaking them down and demonstrating all the steps took me quite a bit of time so it is rewarding to know it was actually helping people ❤️

      @@ayakoponotama7904 the time, thought, and planning you did to make this fantastic tutorial shows. You are so kind to do all of this. for others. I love your tutorials! I told my husband how excellent you are at teaching and gave him a preview of this video. He said, with instructions like this, I may be able to do this….lol. He asked if you do videos on home repairs….lol. You’re honestly a great instructor.

      Lol thank you so much! I was once a teacher and i also had 3 kids who all had different strengths and needs( one gifted and active, one autistic with great memories, and one with language impairment and attention issues with super artistry) in 3.5 years. Living in a foreign country away from both families, I had to spend all my energy and time for 15 years just raising children trying to make them happy and confident. Teaching them all differently made me realize many different ways of understanding and grasping concepts. I guess that helped me open my mind which is now partially reflected on my tutorials. Appreciate your kind and thoughtful feedback as always!

      @@ayakoponotama7904 I wish the world had more teachers like you. Teaching, requires an understanding for each person’s abilities. Too often, children are expected to all learn in the same way. As we know, each child is an individual and the learning process is different from one child to the other. You definitely have a gift.

      I agree with you… I once read some wise person say we should always reflect on our teaching if the students don’t understand instead of blaming them for not understanding ;) I always tried to keep that in mind, and of course it’s harder to keep the required patience when teaching my own kids lol but I try my best.

    Thank you for going slow and showing how to do this. I got about 5 rows down just practicing with one color qnd my rows are all crazy looking. I think I was taking the string the wrong way to make knots. I macrame a little but it takes me hours while watching RUclips video pausing and playing. This helped me big time. Thank you

      I do. The principle is the same just some knots we wrap more than 1 string.

      @@ayakoponotama7904 will you upload another version of this?

    • @ayakoponotama7904
      @ayakoponotama7904  3 года назад +1

      I might if I find a good pattern to explain. The fact is with 3 or more colors it’s more like try and error for each situation( as it has more possible ways to appear) so unlike 2 colors there will be more analysis needed to explain theoretically. I might try to find a popular pattern and explain the whole thing for that so that viewers would understand the principe of it.

    Thank you for this video ! Your explainations are perfect and clear, helped me a lot !! :D
    But there is a little problem : the sound. I had to set the volume at 100% on my computer to hear and it was barly enough.
    Still a great video ;)

      Thank you for your kind words! I had this issue before so now I make sure I raise the volume until max when I edit the video. I will see what I can do with my headphone setting. It’s a new one and my husband uses the same type for his work so it should work. I also checked from other channels we have and can hear it well so wonder what is the real issue. Thank you for the heads up.

    Also. I wanted to make q dog collar for my English bulldog .. but idk how to get both ends to wrap or knit around the claps.. I've been playing around and trying to flip my ends around and knot into my pattern. But idk. Can you help with that. I bet if you sell these things it would be a big hit. Or even using thicker string. HELP!!!!

    Can you do an Alpha with 3 or 4 colors with a clean background? I need to see how you do it.

    • @ayakoponotama7904
      @ayakoponotama7904  3 года назад +1

      I’m working on it... unlike 2 colors it’s hard to explain systematically since the possible thread alignments not just doubles but increases far more. Instead of tutorial I will try to show how I do one pattern with multiple colors.
