Those that are confused about the identity of the young man at the end of this little film need to watch it again. It’s clear the guy is Ray’s teammate, the one who was hazed along with Ray in the locker room getting beers poured on them. At the end of the film it is the teammate who is putting his gear into his own car prior to the two driving off together. It’s all about the details folks.

Very good! In such a violent sport, where structural machismo is present, it is necessary to know how to "live together" without being "emotionally hurt". So, you have to be aware, know who you are dealing with and how to deal with it. Either way, it's a constant pressure to survive. The script, the sensitive direction and the complicity of the interpretations are very good. Liked it!
I'm confused, how do the two guys know each other is interested in each other? Also why does the main character take a photo with the other guy when they meet up at the end?

But he is seemingly posting pics of himself on apps. It really isn't explained how the two guys at the end know each other is interested in each other. It is implied it is from some app or potentially from getting close on the team, but that relationship is the most cryptic part of the film.
@@harryd5195 You may call it "cryptic", but one could also say "craptic", "incomplete" or "not well crafted"... elliptic story stelling is not about that. When people really are missing something that leads to not understanding it, then the movie misses a great deal of clarity.

Saw this in last year’s Seattle Film Festival….liked it then. Love it even more now, the second time around. Jason Karman does great stuff.
