I showed my friends some music videos by ØZI, a rising Taiwanese American rnb artist !!
This was the most hectic and time-consuming video I’ve planned, filmed, and edited, but I’m happy with the result? LOL now it’s time to see if anyone watches this and if the audience is happy with this new possible series. Yeah, can you believe I used all my braincells to translate most of this LIKE GOOGLE TRANSLATE, you lowkey suck, but still thanks for your helpppp

A little about this series(?)…
This series is inspired by the ‘ABCs React to…’ series from the channel Lost in Translation/我的海漂时代, which is now renamed as Foreign on Campus. With a unique twist to it, I let Asian Americans react to and get to know more recent Mandopop and Cantopop artists (and might put in some random themes like kpop here and there).
As an ABC, I’ve been exploring Mandopop and Cantopop more ever since the pandemic started. And now, I want to share these artists and songs with my friends and the ABCs/Asian Americans community!!

Those people in the Lava music video are all very talented Taiwanese singers/songwriters,
such as Yellow (the bald guy), Karencici (11:54),9m88, DJ Ray Ray and so on.
如果是想以介紹給朋友為主，建議可以把介紹部分放在前面，讓他們先有一點了解再看/聽作品，如果是以reaction為主，可以維持現在這種形式把介紹放在後面，但拍攝者建議要對作品本身多一點了解比較能深入介紹，不然有點可惜了大家拍影片的機會😂

💗💗 謝謝你的意見！！我會嘗試了解作品更多，才去拍reaction，但我有這個language barrier （語言障礙？），所以很多時候 對我來講 有點難去看懂作品後的意思，但我也會嘗試去了解作品更多，因為他們值得關注，還有他們的音樂🔥💯

the gist of the MVs of death trip and lava is actually the easter eggs (cameos) and references 🥲 too bad they didn’t caught onto that.. i was screaming at the screen when 9m88 appeared in lava, like dude didn’t yall realise she’s from another MV u just watched a few minutes ago?? 😂😂😂
omg yeah, we were trying to guess from the cameos and lyric references, but didn’t quite get it 🤣🤣 and yesss i did notice 9m88 in lava too. i think since my friends are only seeing her for the first time, they didn’t realize it was her. plus, she had quite a diff style + hair in both MVs. ANYWAYS I REALLY APPRECIATE UR COMMENT omg it excites me when I see them

@@lilian.yanyan 為了把每個人對同一段的感受表現出來就會一直重複，這不是一個很好的觀賞體驗，可以捨去反應較少的部份並串成一首歌，不一定要串成完整的一首歌或是接得很完美，甚至可以有缺失的部份，總之為了表現每一組對同一段的體驗而全部排在一塊，只會給觀眾一直在按重播的感覺，其實你可以多觀察其他reaction的剪輯，或許你只是沒觀察過，多觀察就可以發現他們剪輯手法很多元豐富
