Every time I listen to her, I think of my friend Sunny, who passed in 2011. And she still comes to visit me, and when she tries to kiss me from beyond the veil, it's like kissing myself in a mirror. I went through the comments as I was gulping, and i now have this sense of belonging like i haven't had for a long time, specially on the internet. I'm glad that there is a voice that can unite the real selves, the "encaged souls" within us in this modern world of divisions.

So amazing. Makes me think of my friend and love, Sunny Rae, who passed 9 years ago. As the song ended, I shed a tear. I had no idea of any of this history. But I absolutely LOVE Swallow the Sun, Trees of Eternity. It wasn't until now that I have known of Aleah's death. I feel it. Death's sweet embrace.

The joining of Juha & Aleah created something way beyond their individual arts which proved so elevating it could only leave an abysmal void to endure for the widower, their friends and even fans - as expressed through a song as "Severed Eyes", for example: facebook.com/watch/?v=110861830861719 That hurts much the same everytime, how can that be! Maybe it's because a precious gem was found then lost, or more precisely taken away, and there's no going back.
