Thank you for allowing me into your world,I find a calm peaceful feeling comes over me as I watch and listen to you, these moments are needed more than ever at this time as I am grieving the loss of my sweet little dog of 15 years as she passed away recently. So thank you again lovely lady for doing all that you do ❤
I really feel for you - loosing your sweet little dog of 15 years. I lost my Charlie dog that was a rescue, and had him for 12 years. He was my everything, and it has been 4 years now since his passing. It broke my heart in two when he went. I now have Madge, the rescue greyhound, have had her for nearly 4 years now, and I tell her about Charlie nearly every day! I think her and him would have been such good friends together. My house was not a home without an animal in it. She is the only reason I go out of my front door, when I take her for her walks in beautiful nature, all around us here in West Devon, England. I hope that you will heal slowly, and maybe take another beautiful soul into your life again in the future. xxx

The reason the fairy woods are so green is that the fairies tend to their garden. They love the plants and their magical touch keeps everything green and healthy. I could listen to you for hours. Your voice is so soft and soothing. I hope you and Patsy are doing well and staying cozy and warm during these final blasts of cold weather.
Thank you for sharing a little bit of Bealtaine this morning Colette. I so look forward to each and every walk about. You also enlighten me with every video. We have -30F/-34C windchills this morning but you give me promise, as you did last year, that Spring is coming. While I love the peace of the darkness in Wintertime, as it gives me permission to slow down, I find myself longing, this time of year, to be able to get out and at it again. I will be starting my garden veg. and annual flowers inside, in pots, quite soon and am looking forward to some growth and new promise of the seasons ahead. I hope you have a beautiful day Colette. Hugs to you and Patsy. 💚
This visit to Bealtaine Cottage on the verge of spring is my comfort this Sunday morning. Thank you Colette! My plants are buried and frozen under snow. Peace and Blessings everyone🌻🏡🌲
So enchanting at the end there with the birds and the chimes and the frost..... It will be another 9 weeks until our Spring begins here in New England. So thank you, Colette, for teaching me to see the beauty of nature in Winter. I used to think it looked so barren, but now I can see the shapes and the colors, and the stillness.
I love the words that were on my parent's bird bath, all those years ago " The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of the bird for mirth, your nearer God's heart in a garden, than anywhere else on earth" how true those words are. xxx
Such a wonderful, magical sacred space. Always get lost in this place when I watch your videos Colette. Thanks for sharing.. Imbolc Blessings to you and yours.. ❤❤✨✨
Thank you for showing fairy wood with green inside deep winter. I had no idea. Bealtaine magic. Planting, stewarding land, also your work Colette, then allowing Mother Earth’s majesty. As you have said, humans may not survive their earthly neglect, but mother earth will continue on as it always has. ❤ I will dream of taking naps with little foxes next to fairies in the green hold of fairy wood.
Collette ❤ Thanks for welcoming us to your beautiful cottage and the magnificence of nature and your continued love for the environment and all of us in this way of generosity of heart ♥ wisdom and knowledge ❤
That was a wonderful journey around your Mother Earth. I could smell and feel it all. Thank you for awakening something in us all and helping us not just to look but to see, feel and know. Blessings X
As always, love visiting the garden and stopping at certain plants and spots, love the beautiful observations you make with your gentle lilting voice, and generously sharing your garden with us! Congratulations Colette on the new book! Adding yet more the sense of beauty and wonder of the garden!
Colette, Bealtaine Cottage is magical no matter what time of year it is! Here in northern Ontario, right now I’m looking out my back porch at two feet of snow. But I take comfort in knowing that spring is coming. Not for two more months here, mind you, but it’s coming.
You have such a beautiful collection of plants in your woodland. The yellow of the witch hazel blooms against the blue cottage is stunning! Thanks for inviting us into your magical garden. 🌿🌿🌿💕
Your writing is becoming more and more lyrical, and I am enchanted by the imagery. Thank you for sharing your magical place and helping me to appreciate the magic in my own garden. Bless you.
It must be blissful to go out & walk on sacred ground the first thing in the morning & be in touch with mother earth & thank the creature for giving us other day on earth. I love the shapes of the trees on how they stand like guardian in Fairywood. Goddess Bless❤😊🎉❤❤
Twice i´ve been watching this video, because i love it so much, so relaxing... Loved your reading from your new book!! Colette, my friend, stay warm with a nice cup of thee 🍵 at your fireplace and enjoy those cosy winter evenings with your lovely Patsy!! 🐕 God bless, 🙏 Conny 💖 (Belgium)
You most certainly do have a way of helping me really look at trees and plants. Of course, I have looked at them in the past but you point out things that I have honestly paid little attention to until now. I thank you. May you truly be blessed this year. ❤️
dear Colette..........you have such a beautiful and peaceful spot of earth............I love it...............Blessings and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
I love winter. I loved to skate. I don't love spring and summer in my place. It is so hot and dry😢. Your garden is magical ✨️ 💕 💖 ❤️ 💜 💛 ✨️ Beautiful in winter, spring, summer and autumn. The colors are magical every season🎉I like to hear your interesting stories.❤The old celtic calendar, the birds, the pheasant, the hazel all is so beautiful. I will buy your book🎉 Thank you for your video.❤❤❤
There is an air of life arising now! Yesterday was the first day here this year that the sun set after 5:00pm which always feels like a milestone and after a week of ice cover after yet another "historic ice storm" here in just the last 3 years ( our "new normal" I fear), it is finally melting so the Robins can get to their worms again and we can go out in the yard without dangerous slippery ice rink ground....and after a week we hopefully get mail again Monday! But nature has been amazing. The birds have known what to do (eat about 5x more bird food than normal!.... and the Robins I spoke of have been eating the apples I left on the tree this year. They have taught me to now leave them every year and not "clean" them off the tree. Looking forward to the new book arriving!!
Your garden looks beautiful and very alive, just in stasis at the moment as it awaits that special early Spring moment to wake up and stretch out! I hope the storm doesn't affect you too badly - it's been pretty fierce even here in Kent. Look after yourself and little Patsy.
I love your gardens as always, but love catching glimpses of your indoor accessories as well. Your bronze/copper trees in your window are particularly appealing. Wish I could find them here!
Thankyou Colette. Such a wonderful video and reading from your book. Hope you and Patsy and Bealtaine have come through storm Isha safely and the next storm to come tomorrow.
Enjoyed this vlog and your reading of the extract re: imbolc. I went to a nature reserve saturday with my friend. Its so good to spend time in nature xx
beautiful! We also are anticipating warmer weather on the weekend, but spring and mild breezes are still many weeks away! Sending a hug from the 🇨🇦 prairies!
I was thinking of Bealtaine driving around my area today in the aftermath of the historic ice storm here. Hundreds of trees fell over across the city due to ice and wind (knocking out power lines and damaging many homes) but I had almost no tree issues...even small branches. Driving around I noticed a high percentage of the downed trees were those all alone and in turf grass (the "green desert"). I have noticed before on my land how when you get rid of the turf grass and plant plants the soil life underneath explodes. People need good nutrition, so must trees to stay healthy and resilient. I know in past storms you have noticed the trees at Bealtaine also held up well. These can't be coincidences. Healthy nutrient rich soils = healthy plants and trees.
Hi Colette. Looks so beautiful and tranquil at Beltaine. It truly is a magical time of the year, so amazing to see the plants spurting up from the frozen ground! Crocuses and Nassarci are coming up in our garden, and tiny little birds are building there nests! Life goes on and Spring is assuring just around the corner! Many blessings to you and little Patsy ❤
I just love to listen and take it all in. It is so beautiful, so peaceful… I was just wondering in your kitchen, the beautiful suncatcher with the woman with a bread the marketplace items do you remember where you purchased that? Probably a flea market or farmers market… But every time I see it I just think it is so lovely and I really would like to have one like it.
Colette, you have a very magical area, have done a great amount of work in years past to get to this point. Love your vision! Could you please think about doing a detailed video when you start your vegetable garden. What you plant and where you plant along with when you plant. I’m trying to learn. Last year had some failures and a couple successes. Starting to plan this years garden now. Thank you very much for all your knowledge. Have a great week. Blessings.
