Bon Scott was once asked jokingly whether he was the AC or DC in the band. His reply was telling in its symbolism of his role: "Naw, I'm the lightning flash in the middle." ⚡

The secret of AC/DC is, they are so tight any virgin would be very unhappy about :D Also the brutal energy the emit. It is unbelivable... the only band that sounds life as good as in the studio, even better. Esp the early records. They mostly get from a gig into the studio and brought the energy into the records.

Someone found the real Rosie when researching for a book about the lads. From memory there was also a photo of her in the book, and by today's standards, she wasn't all that big. Unfortunately, she had a tough life and died young. Originally from Queenstown in Tasmania, she moved to Melbourne and had a flat near the lads in St Kilda where she plied her trade. As Bon suggests....when it "come to loving, she steals the show".

When you talk about the energy they all had and how it all meshes together for the performance. Having personal experience on this, this is the party energy we all had the in 70's and 80's. That time had an emotional quality for many of us kids growing up then that was almost nihilistic. I remember a friend of mine once said "we live under a nuclear threat we ain't in control of so might as well go out with sex, drugs, and rock'n roll. Then he would quote the song line "here for a good time not a long time". Kind of an unofficial motto of a lot of people back then was "live fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse cause no one expected to live to get old honestly. So when you partied there was no point in holding back as it was possible you wouldn't have a tomorrow.

I dont know where to start. First as always u do awesome reactions, i love them. Second i started to listen to ACDC when i was 15 and just started playing the drums. So to look more Rock n roll i had an old jeans jacket i cut the arms off, just like Bon has in this video. Thing is walking around looking like this in those days would put u in danger coz of those people who didnt like metal and looking like it. I had just realized at age 15 that i was getting old enough and had enough muscles so i didnt get beaten by my mum any more. Problem was i eneded up getting attacked by men who didnt like this new metal crap. Anyway, i love watching these old ACDC shows, or any shows for that matters. What amaze me is that Bon Scott freely steps back so Angus can more or less be the Front figure of the band. Ty for the awesome reaction and watching those nice curls again.

@@JR-dilligaf Melbourne girl here who grew up seeing them live so many times as a teenager in the mid 70’s. I’ve only ever seen them with Bon, not interested in seeing Brian. Bon will always be their frontman to me. So much charisma, always had a naughty twinkle in his eye and he loved the crowd and used our energy to give even more of himself. He will always be a bloody legend!

Oh gosh young lady we have to get you into the 21st century, post haste. This 73 yr old dude rocker loves your reactions especially this one love Bon RIP.
However, their is incredible new rock popping up in new places, here is my fav band that I truly believe you will absolutely love, lady power to the nth degree.
Band Maid out of Japan, a 5 piece all ladies rock band, is composing and performing live the best rock I have ever heard and I have heard them all- AC/DC, Zep, D Purp, Allmans, Petty, Metallica, etc etc.
None of them can touch these ladies- 10 years, 130+ songs, best live band EVER.
Heres a few to sample if you are interested:
    - Daydreaming MV
    - Hate live Yokahama
    - Blooming MV

You need to remember that just because that is your opinion, it doesn’t make it fact! I’ve watched them and they don’t do it for me but that’s ok, we’re all different. I grew up in Melbourne Australia and got to see them live with Bon in the mid 70’s so many times as a teenager and we knew then that they were something special!! Live they have been on a par for me with Queen for the best concerts I’ve seen. And I’m talking about the Bon years, he will always be their frontman to me ♥️

There is another live video of this song where Angus Young rips a string, gets a new guitar, and gets a strap replaced all during the solo. Insane stuff.
They also had oxygen tanks ordered for the shows, so they could take a breather to keep going

I've listened to AC/DC for over 40 years, Bon was unique and so much fun to listen to. If you get a chance, listen to Ride On, love this song, it's in his lower register and you can feel the sarcasm dripping from his delivery. A great rock and roll blues song.
