Hey, do you know your best time around bedford with the 2.5 nc?

Hi. It wasn't on this day, but on another outing to Bedford in the dry I managed a 2:59 with no passenger and 1/4 tank of fuel. If you have an NC I'd love to know what you have done to yours to make it track ready? All the best. Ben

@@benharper1983 I've got a stock powered 2.0 with Ohlins coils, whiteline sways, custom front splitter because it suffers from terminal understeer running on Michelin PS4 for a 3:07 - probably could shave a few seconds when I put the AR1's on.
do you have any telemetry of your runs, so i could see how much faster the extra power makes you?

@@cjcoleman8525 Sadly I don't have any telemetry. I will say that the 2.5 torque makes a noticeable difference on the track. I was also running either AR1 or r88r which I found better than fast road tyres. And then decent brake pads make such a difference, I use either EBC BlueStuff or Mintex FR4 and they allowed me to brake so much later. Happy to review any footage of yours and pass comment on the line I take vs yours etc? Also, I'm sure I will be back at Bedford in 2025 so I can keep you posted and maybe meet you there? :)

@@benharper1983 i'll definitely be back at bedford this year, potentially turbo'd by then before moving to a 2.5 swap.
the roddisons pads have lasted 10+ trackdays and have never faded.
I dont have any footage unfortunately but hopefully I'll get a camera soon

@@cjcoleman8525 be careful with the turbo conversion. Triple-check everything. I blew up / melted a 2.0 and 2.5 on track in my NC's due to heat and oil starvation issues. In the end, I went back to the 2.5 but with cams and ITB's and it was so much fun to drive and listen to :)
