This show was VERY close to the QOTSA show at The Troubadour during the SFTD era. I was lucky enough to be there. Was standing outside the Troubadour and Grohl walked by and just thought, "Wow I get to see him play drums twice, this is awesome". Then Josh comes out to play guitar. Great show!!
hell yeah.. just like old queens: homme, oliveri, grohl, lanegan.. legends of (not so mainstream) rock.. i love it, a great monster mixture of great bands: kyuss, nirvana, screaming trees all on one stage
Not quite - this song is from the "Rated R" era. They played this song a lot love and when they toured for a month with Dave with SFTD came out. Ode to Clarissa was a B-side on Rated R
I was about 19 when they split up. I didn't like it but the band has flourished and Josh and Nick have made quite a name for themselves in the music scene.
@irondaddymac I saw them live before the album and I was so moved by the performance. I went around telling everyone how great they were and getting all excited.... then the album came out and I changed my mind completely

Twiggy's guitar isn't plugged in. Josh is cloaked.
