15 Games With The Best DualSense Implementation So Far
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 27 июл 2021
- Alongside its SSD and its 3D audio engine, the DualSense was one of the PS5's most heavily marketed features in the lead-up to the console's launch, with its adaptive triggers and haptic feedback promising greater immersion in games than ever before.
Now, the PS5 is still extremely young - it's not even a year old at this point - so it's still too soon to say whether or not the DualSense has lived up to all that hype- but already, there's been more than a few games that have made use of the controller's unique features in some pretty interesting ways. Here, we're going to talk about a few such games. - Игры
When playing Returnal I realized I could feel the raindrops in different parts of my hand I was like yup, the future is now, old man.
Much yes.
Hell yeah and you can feel the footsteps too. Crazy little implementation imo.
so does your hand feel wet?
Really that was the first game I brought with it and I was really impressed it may vibrations but not think I haven’t felt before with other controllers it did a little more then them but not worth the hype
Every time I hear that I picture Bryan Cranston getting punched in the nuts 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Another feature in Demon’s Souls: adaptive triggers while using a bow. I thought it was cool how you could slowly let off the trigger to cancel a shot, or release it suddenly to shoot.
You could do that in some games on ps4
That ones been a feature since the PS2
Hmm... sounds like I need to to back and check my PS3 version to see if it does this. The adaptive triggers do seem to add a nice tactile sensation to the draw, at least.
@@Volition_To_The_Max Thats amazing, since ps2 triggers were just buttons.....
I was playing ghost of tsushima for ps5, every time I draw the bow I can feel the tension in the string, it's so awesome. In spiderman remastered it's like you can feel the web shooting out from spider's hands
I love the way A plague tale innocence used the duelsense.. you can feel the rats through the controller!
Oh yes! that was pretty neat!
Yessirrr
Plague tale had dual sense ? Woah. I played it on PC wirelessly using a dual sense. Most games dual sense only works wired. Guess I’ll have to find out
Rats, we’re rats, we’re the rats!
We prey at night!
We stalk at night!
We’re the rats!
IM DA GIANT RAT THAT MAKES ALL OF DA RULES!
Let’s see what trouble we can get ourselves into!
This is a good list
I need more games like Astro Playroom
Try ratchet and clank rift apart
If you have a psvr I definitely recommend Astro not rescue mission. I don’t think it has dualsense but it’s one my favorite vr games of all time
You’ll know that PS5 controller is better when the head of Xbox is impressed and will have similar features to its controller soon
Incoming controller war 🤣🤣💯 but nah I'm happy they're gonna implement it in their controller.. gives all games new life if you ask me.
@@HiroshimaXl Atleast you get to play on a ps5 been using dualsense on PC ever since they were available
The ps5 controller has cool features sure but it’s a thrash controller compared to the design of the Xbox controller
Their copying?
They just need to make dualsense as xbox controller
Black Ops Cold War should definitely be on this list. Almost every weapon in the game has a unique trigger resistance and vibration.
are you playing cold war on pc?or ps4? or ps5?
@@therealguy5424 the playstation 5 edition
@@Prod.M00N oh okay thanks
The dualsense exceeds the hype in my opinion. I was blown away by it.
I expected to see Chivalry 2 and Wreckfest on this list.. Love how the controller breaks down with the car damage on Wreckfest and feeling blocks and gameplay in Chivalry 2
Haptics are an absolute game changer, IMO. I mean, I've always been a fan of vibration ever since the Rumble Pak on the N64 and the original DualShock. But none of that holds a candle to these Haptics, I absolutely love the way Astro and Rift Apart felt. The adaptive triggers are cool too...but I could personally live without them...but definitely not against devs taking full advantage of them every chance they get.
I was a big supporter of games using the Touchpad, Lightbar and Speaker on the DS4, I always thought it was a shame that so few games used them. So I have a feeling once the "newness" of the PS5 wears off, most multiplatform games aren't going take advantage of these features anymore and that would be a shame.
The adaptive triggers in the DOOM: Eternal upgrade are nuts. That super shotgun trigger is so meaty.
There barely used Valhalla for example
The triggers are what make me feel alive. Pulling the trigger and getting a kill just doesn’t get any more satisfying.
I have been looking for this exact list for a while now thank you
Wreckfest has amazing feedback. Plus the cursing from other players when you pick the doom rig is great too. 😆
Wrc 9 feels great on the duel sense. One of the best implementations.
i use dualsense for my pc.does it still work for the controller to support wrc 9 haptic feeadback and adaptive trigger?
@@therealguy5424 not sure. I think it’s only implemented into the PS5 code.
No ghost of Tsushima?? It’s one of the best games that really pushed the duelsense to its limit, even just navigating through the menu and such has such a nice feel that alone is amazing
This was before the ps5 update came out ;)
Scarlet nexus did a really good job using the haptic feed back as well
does it work with dualsense on pc?
"15 Games With DualSense Implementation So Far" - Seems like a better title. I love the dualsense, but there are still very few games that support it.
Theirs like 25 games that have it
Another suggestion; Overwatch 2. Not only is it free to play and doesn't require PS+, it also has some pretty great trigger usage. Each hero's weapons and abilities *feel* different, unique and godly satisfying. For example, Orisa's gun kicks a little, but the closer the gun gets to over heating, the more it kicks. Rammatra, Tracer, Sombra feel amazing to land hits on, and Briggite's flail has a left to right swing to it, with a nice lunch in the middle when you hit someone.
When I felt Jin unsheathing his Katana in through controller’s haptics I realized the future is now.
i have a pc is it worth to get the new pro version?
Callisto Protocol with the dualsense do a great job too
Just got my ps5 wanna check this controller out with the best games
Thank you, good video.
Death stranding is pretty good too with all the surfaces and traversal mecanics with haptic feedback
Resident Evil Village has one of the best feels and you forgot to mention...
I played on ps5 and I don't agree, the adaptive triggers are nice, but the haptic feedback is awful on RE Village, almost non existent, and the haptic feedback is more important than the triggers, it brings a lot of imersion
Definitely not
@@RogerCold009 does the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger works with the game on a PC? i use dualsense on my pc by the way
Part 2 of this please
Using the PS5 controller with full functionality on my PC just makes me feel like a boss. 😎
How tho ?
@@fabienlc1692 still need help?
@@Chrissvdb no thank you 👌
@@fabienlc1692 okii :)
@@Chrissvdb I would like to know how
Every gun in borderlands 3 feels different because of the adaptive triggers. Should have been on this list...
Works on pc?
@@Nighta90 bro do you not know the title of the video? ITS SAYS DUELSENSE NOT PC
@@troll9883 why the CAPS LOCK? ps5 controller definitely work on PC, you have to use a type C cable to connect it.
While not one of the games with gyro aim, another great use of the controller's speakers, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers is "Ghostwire Tokyo". Makes an already intense action/supernatural-horror game feel that much moreso. Sadly, PC version requires the controller to be wired and Steam Input disabled (if using the Steam version). I know some of the recent CoD games also use the adaptive triggers to vary the feel of each gun's trigger and recoil, on top of gyro aiming (and yes, I'm completely-convinced by how good gyro aiming is).
Guardians of the galaxy is really good with the dualsense
He missed a few, the ps5 version of Avengers is done really well. Also it would be cool if you did a video on what games have done 3D audio the best so far.
3D Audio is the shit man. I'm surprised nobody's really talking bout it as much as the controller
@@mtdubdachamp6917 for real it needs some more marketing so more people take notice, the more fans the more games that will have 3D audio.
Yeah but that game sucks so why talk about it.
Avengers one of my favourite game with the adaptive triggers
Can I use dualsense on pc like this
Microsoft should copy this feature, ASAP!
I just want to split a dual sense in half and use the pieces for VR so goddamn bad
PSVR2 is coming. 😏
3:15 drop top
Which is your favourite game...?🤔
Dude where is Cold War ? The guns are frisking awesome
A Plague Tale: Innocence, try it :)
You forgot about Avengers!! It also has a great implementation
Shit game
You forgot Cal of duty Cold War and marvels avengers
Hell let loose has it in a pretty cool way
Oh really? Do you know, if they support it on PC version as well?
No resident evil village? Damn the triggers are amazing with the shotgun and pistol.
Infamous sim uses it in a cool way when spray painting
it was ps4 controller not ps5 theres no ps5 version for infamous
Doom Eternal feels fucking amazing with the triggers. The recoil the Heavy Cannon gives with each gloriously crunchy shot is just 👌😚
U could order them from the best to the wrost instead of casually put them inside a row
The question is, what is the controller's support for the ever-growing library of Playstation games on the Pc?
2:57 Guy says Rift Apart Returnal as if he's just reading a script but not knowing about any of these games.
Great spot... I didn't here that... the content creator probably hired a voice actor
I love how the controllers hits the same frequency as the flute in ghost of Tsushima I had to turn the controller volume down to make sure I wasn’t crazy
The controller is nice. No discussion. But you know what bothers me? And not only about the controller, but the whole console and to be honest, ALL new-ish appliances... Life expectancy. I have my ORIGINAL NES with my ORIGINAL controllers from 1987. Which I've used EXTENSIVELY during their 30+ years lifespan. Everything still works as it did back when it was new. Do ANY of you think these contraptions will work for a decade? Let alone 30+ years? Moving parts are the bane of electronics...
A remaster of Max Payne 3 would be bitchin w/ the new controller
I have both consoles, the haptic thing is good on PS5, I feel Sony did a better controller but the Series X controller is very good also.
Same son day one ps5 disc and day one series x here
Your mic is popping.
*Returnal* was the first game I played with the new controller. *_Wow._*
U forgot Watchdogs Legion!
jk
Its great for things like useing a bow but man it drains the battery
I love all systems but my favorite is my PC. It's hard not to when it costs the price of a small car. BUuuuUuuut, the PS5 controller brings such an amazing immersion it sets itself above everything else. It saddens me when I switch from pS5 to a PC game and I can no longer "feel" the game. It's like your missing a sense and it's noticeable.
My understanding is that you can use the full function of the haptic feedback on some PC games
@@Tweety-el1st what!? Don't play with my emotions lol, I gotta look at that asap.
@@Darth0308 Have you found some pc games, that can do that?
@@Rosaslav not a single one yet. Some will have the normal duel sense rumble but the haptic has only worked on PS5 so far.
@@Darth0308 well the best one i can remember of is Farcry 6, with full implementation on pc of both haptics and triggers
No game works better than astro’s playroom
My haptic feedback is weak and triggers are weak on all my games any body else have this problem or know how to fix it
Go to your system device settings and change it bro
Spider-Man made this list really?
it does kinda support it you have to go to setting and change vibration setting to accessibility
THANK YOU!!.I was looking for the name destruction all stars i was about to watch 8 hours of e3🤢
Bro play ride 4 it has the most best adaptive triggers
Nothing tops Returnal
Marvel's Spiderman Mukesh mohans>> miles Morales
COD cold war?
I own both controllers and I have to say. I really like the adaptive triggers and feedback. But the controller vibrators are almost too powerful and it feels like it throws my aim off to bad for like competitive fps. I've moved that over to Xbox, cod , destiny, and am using my sony for like souls, rockstar games, 3rd person stuff and non competitive stuff.
You're obviously lying since you can literally disable adaptive triggers and vibration altogether in the PS5s settings. You definitely don't even have a PS5
@@cxeon5498 so just to address this. I was not lying. But was wrong. It lasts a few hours. I wrote this when it was brand new and had a bad controller. Got it exchanged when my brother pointed out it should be lasting longer brand new. Can stuff like that not happen? Rather than people be lying and not really owning things? Playing death stranding on it as I address this.
I've met far more aggressive ponies in my lifetime than I have people that lie about what systems they own.
@@cxeon5498 I would worry far more about how you're going to sneak that xbox you've obviously swore to never soil the threshold of your domain on your entertainment center without their knowledge so you can flight sim and bethesda.
I'm sorry I mean that you've obviously swore to never get to friends. And what you will say to make that ok.
How does this guy miss Mortal Shell? You can literally feel haptic purring from a cat in the game.
Is it worth on ps5 ? Apparently this game is very short, but I hesitate
@@7-3-3 It takes full advantage of the PS5 offering Performance vs. Quality mode, good use of haptic feedback and more. The game is my favorite Non-Dark Souls, Dark Souls game. It has upcoming DLC adding to the games length along with using ideas from Bloodborne of trick weapons. It’s difficult, but not as difficult as Dark Souls 1. The option to add Boss-themed metal tracks during Boss fights is the cherry on top.
They just need to make pro versions. with Xbox geometry and paddles.
Then you’d have the perfect controller for current gen
No borderlands 3? Guys, this game supports the new dual sense even better than ratchet and clank....second only to astro's playroom
F1 2021
It looks like you recorded this in less than 1080p but it's been upscaled to it. It doesn't look crisp, especially for a current-gen console, which should be absolutely perfect as a source.
Observer redux gotta be on here
It is on here..
no man's sky taking off with a ship feels good but the games dull
its better in vr
There are 15 games out for ps5 ? Lol
I like the Xbox finger trigger better
Of course you do.
Yeah I’m predicting a new pony style Xbox controller soon
It’s barely used on most third party games
Yo!! wheres call of duty
Dualsense made the ps5 the clear winner if you are a PlayStation player last gen, there is no point switching to series x for "quick resume and vrr". I do hope sony implements quick resume too.
Yo
Wreckfest #1
Cool, do you know if they support it on PC version as well?
Love my day one ps5 disc and day one series x
Weird flex but ok
Weird flex but ok
Does the guy know he isn’t the only one lmao?
They forgot resident evil village how’s that possible
They didn't, haptic feedback is non existant in Re village, but the triggers are indeed a nice feature
does the feature works on pc? i use dualsense for my pc
@@RogerCold009 not true
They just put all the ps5 games on here lol.
First
Why god of war ragnarok sucks with controller compared to astro playroom
Dooool Sense. The American pronounciation of "dual" kills me every time
I own both X and PS5 so no fanboy stuff. The dualsense is a definite improvement over the ps4 controller to me it isn't a "game changer". I still prefer the series X controller.
Sony's and Microsofts controllers are already obsolete. We want controllers with the six extra buttons on the back. I really can't believe they haven't upgraded them yet. Sony's starting to lag behind.
