Fun to see a video that isn’t afraid to be honest about how not every moment in the outdoors life is super epic. There’s those down times too for sure. Way to use the lost GoPro as a great story telling piece!
I did West Crack the day before you and accidentally got my orange Petzl carabiner stuck- I can see it in your video at the top of pitch 1 at the belay, so funny and such a small world 😂
I wish these videos would never end, you make it feel so incredible. Very powerful very motivating and very inspiring! I would say easily, the most underrated adventure RUclips channels on this platform! ❤
I know the feeling. I left my gopro on my truck bumper once and drove off in the east coast. People were so nice, they actually returned it to the town hall and I got it back. If this was here in Toronto, it woulda been long gone.
Good stuff guys, please just keep putting safety first above video or anything! Its a joy to watch videos ourside of the legends throwing up 5.14s and beyond lol
DAFF; Dome Across From Fairview (Dome). What a cool name. The "Regular Route" on Fairview Dome (at 7:00) is an awesome climb. IMHO, to have fun at Tuolumne you need to be able to lead at least 5.9 Trad. Once you can do that, it really opens up for you. Of course be able to lead 5.10 or higher is even better.
Nice video! I agree about the music, it gives the videos a touch! About the lost go pro haha, you were so lucky! But that stuff happen all the time, last week I forgot a Zoom H6 recorder and a tripod in the highway: I set it down, then started to record, after an hour I left and totally forgot about it haha. Then drove 2 hours to my destination and realized I didn’t have the Zoom, so decided to drive back and hope for the best… there it was, still recording haha after 5 hours!
By the way, the actual Domelands is a region far to the south in the High Sierras. Not as popular as Yosemite NP. There is also good granite in the northern Yo wilderness area and accessed region through the Hoover Wilderness .
Back in the day it was rated 5.8 with one 5.9 move on pitch two, we were in our our heads. Pitch two head wall was steep and my partner back off so I ending up leading the whole climb. Why didn’t you switch lead different pitches on the second go at it? Then you could have experienced leading the whole climb. Love your videos great place love climbing in the Meadows!
I can totally relate to having to backtrack for video equipment. Poor Hazel.... Gus just got back on trail after 3 weeks, he had a tumor removed from his front foot. I love Musicbed However, I also use Artlist as well. Great video as usual!
Love me some TM! Looks like a sweet route! Have you guys had the chance to do the Regular Route on Fairview? The first 5 pitches (especially pitch 5) are pretty great, and you can simul-climb a lot of the last few pitches.
I hope someone finds the GoPro, realizes when they look through the footage that it's you two on there, and know where to look to return it! Hey, pretty good chance that if they're at the top of Daff Dome, they're 1. fans of the channel and 2. cool as any other person you meet on the trail and return it!
I had to pause the video to comment: Paper rock scissors? 🤦♂️ Please do not tell me you say same difference, I'm at least happy you didn't add shoot to the end of paper rock scissors👍
Fall = Yosemite Season! 🍂 Super excited to be back in the best national park! New videos soon - Subscribe for more 🥰
Always a good day to wake up to a Cody and Victoria video!
❤️❤️❤️

The peaceful piano music while grunting in the crack is major vibes
Haha a little juxtaposition maybe
This is so wholesome and amazing. You guys inspire and motivate me so much! Thank you!!
Ha thanks man! Hopefully this video wasn’t too much of a bust. Sometimes mistakes are made…

That's so funny! I literally tried clipping it when I got to the first anchor but realized the locker is pretty welded on there😅

Luckily I don’t think anyone had climbed it after us and it was kind of camouflaged 😂
Y'alls videos are so inspiring and lovely to watch.
Hey thanks! They don’t always go as planned but the trick is you gotta make it anyways.
Good stuff guys, please just keep putting safety first above video or anything! Its a joy to watch videos ourside of the legends throwing up 5.14s and beyond lol
Haha I’m glad we’re not the only ones feeling that way.
Sick rappel shot.
Definitely doing it better then anyone else! Hope to see yall getting after it one day! Much love!
Are you ever around the Sierra? Good chance you’d run into us!
@@codyandvictoria I was in the sierras in pine creek this summer gonna head back there eventually. I’m on the east coast though near the red.
Feel better Hazel!!!
Good video broseph!

Love it! Beautiful climb!

Had no idea about the name! That’s amazing. Keep an eye out for a video tomorrow. You might recognize a route or two 👀
Epic views and climb. Twice😊
Haha so nice we climbed it twice
Nice video! I agree about the music, it gives the videos a touch!

Haha amazing that it was still there 😅
Every time I watch, I want to be you. Excellent🎉❤
Thanks my friend 🙏🏼

We’ll done on the mid-climb ad read ;)

We were just in a hurry so figured we would lead the same pitches since we knew it already

That was our plan before we left the GoPro 😩 Next time for sure!
@@codyandvictoria Totally get it! Leaving a GoPro behind is an expensive proposition! Plus...you got to repeat a great route, so...
🔥🔥🔥
Love your video ❤, which camera do you use for shooting now?
Anyone know how they get these beautiful images and colors etc? Is it just literally the camera or is there also editing involved?
I hope someone finds the GoPro, realizes when they look through the footage that it's you two on there, and know where to look to return it! Hey, pretty good chance that if they're at the top of Daff Dome, they're 1. fans of the channel and 2. cool as any other person you meet on the trail and return it!
lol nvm, commented too soon, just watched the second half of the video
😂 that thought crossed our minds. “Maybe someone will return it”
What’s the approximate weight for all the gear and equipment the first climber has to carry?
It really depends on the climb and what gear is required. We’ve never weighed it. I’d guess somewhere around 10lbs
Did you switch which pitches each of you led on round 2?
Not all of them but we switched up some stuff.
Nice!! New van??
Yeah! Just a little weekender
@@codyandvictoria sweet! Asto's are great for that
Sometimes it's a Two Tick Tacoless Tuesday. So it goes...
what is the song at the beginning of this video? 😍
Ulysses by RYVOLI (you can find it on Musicbed and use our link in the description 🥰)
Hey where is new videos 😢😢😢
Working on it 🙃
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Apache was glad to see his girl friend... lol

Either that Gopro has ridiculous battery life and storage space, or you guys go above and beyond for a quality vid experience. Either will suffice.
😅 movie magic
Welcome to yawnfest.
