I get stuck in that work, home, sleep routine just waiting until I can get some time off to climb. I can't climb as much as you guys so it's such a treat and a thirst quencher for my soul to see a cody and victoria climbing video. My wife and I started trad climbing because of you guys. We are doing our first multipitch in tahoe Gingerbread 5.7 this wednesday. We want to be that climbing duo power couple like you guys. Watching this video in my work office wishing I was out there! Never stop making these videos!!!!
Love to hear this! Our ultimate goal is to inspire people like yourself to get out there and try these things. I hear you with the work thing though - it really is a bummer but I hope you find a way to secure a job that brings fulfillment and stability. Who knows maybe climbing will help you find it. Enjoy the climb! Look into “Deception” at Lovers Leap. A great 5.6 beginner multipitch!
I wondered why I hadn't seen any of your videos in my feed in a while, so I went looking and found this one. I don't climb (your backpacking videos resonate more with me) but this is still interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing, and glad to see you guys are still getting out there.
thanks much for the great content and sharing your experiences - between Lake Tahoe and other adventures in the Sierra along 395, always fun to tag along and see what ya’ll are getting into!
Fun video! Were just got back from Yosemite and were planning to visit the meadows, but unfortunately Tioga road was still closed. Glad you had the opportunity! ...and the mosquitoes!!!
I like you two so much. Always positive, make right decisions and enjoy the life. The dream life!
What an amazing comment. We’re not perfect but trying to have a good time. Thanks so much for watching!

So awesome! Just did Cathedral Peak last week!!! Absolutely amazing and beautiful!
Bummed we missed it. Cathedral looks like an epic romp!
Agree, Cathedral is awesome. Classic Yosemite climbing. There are a few variations if you want to add spice too.

Great video. My wife and I have only done indoor climbing and bouldering. Outdoor climbing is a whole other level. Looks thrilling!
You’ve gotta get out there. Takes it to a whole new level!

How many times do you guys get checked for permits on the way out of your adventures?
Almost never but we’re always worried that we will.
@@codyandvictoria same here :)
I was just curious
Thank you for answering :)
What would you call the way you were belaying her after leading the first pitch?
Top down belay or belaying off the anchor. Something like that.
@@codyandvictoriathank you!
Was it a West Pillar route?
West pillar direct! 🙌🏼
What is the purpose of a backpack permit ?
I would imagine it keeps the trails from being too crowded and helps the park keep track of who and what is happening on the trails.
have you guys got a third person along with you filming? the shots where there are two of you look like the camera is hand held
Movie magic 😉
what sunglasses are you guys wearing ?
Ombraz!
Damnit, why can't Belgium have this kind of wilderness...
Be yourself the world will adjust 🫶🏼
