Thanks everyone! I hope you've enjoyed the video and a special thanks to the channel members for your support. I've talked Gordon in to playing a couple of games of Judge Dredd with me so expect to see those videos surface in the coming weeks. I'm itching to paint more models and take another shot at a diorama, so let me know what you are in the mood for next.
My Judge Dredd stuff that I ordered for my Birthday a couple of weeks back just arrived today! Your video was very helpful in dispelling the innate nervousness I have when it comes to painting minis, and I find Speed/Contrast paints to be a blessing especially as I am getting older and my eyesight is struggling. Looking forward to more Dredd and 2000AD Content!
Unreal! Have fun with it 😀 I have a couple of play through videos up and also a video where I make a cursed earth diorama and paint up some more dress minis for it in there 😀
Really enjoyed the beginner proof painting method, and the results speak for themselves! Minis look great (and spoilers, but the game is really fun too).
Thanks! 😀 Yep I enjoyed just quickly getting some colours on the models and calling them all done in an afternoon and not having them looking back at me all week on my hobby desk 😅
Yeah I had great fun with them. Reminded me that not every model needs to have hours poured into it. Sometimes i just want paint on them so they look nicer then we can hurry up and play.
There's been so many artists, all with their own take, that you can get away with your models looking different to the box art or other players' collections.
Hey Robert, thanks for dropping in. I’ve just finished painting some more of the Dredd models in another style and that video should be up in about a week, so you might be interested in that as well 😀
Please be careful with putting contrast colors / speed paint on your wet pallet. They can bleed through the membrane and ruin the sponge beneath. Of course you can do this, but even army painter recommends not to. 😉 Otherwise great choice of colors! 🤘🏼 The terrain looks awesome as well!
Good save! I didn’t know they were prone to bleed through. Thanks for the heads up. I now have one of their speed paint plastic trays so I’ll use that next time around.

Warlord makes some great stuff, and the simpler techniques were refreshing!

Ive been looking into some speed paints for a while now, they might get me to finish my bolt action figures lol Congtaz on the 10K!
Thanks, I’m amazed 10k people can put up with me 🤣 yeah I’m thinking of using them for the bolt action infantry so that I can fly through them.
2000AD!!! Let’s go
