National treasures I grew up with and was blessed to see preform in the seventies. Their music still informs me to this day. Three voices that blend this perfectly rarely find each other
This is a spectacularly uncoordinated arrangement and they seem out of sync with each other. Perhaps they are better without Neil Young, but I'm not saying it's his fault here.
So glad all 4 of them lasted a Good Long While here on Earth making such Memorable Music. David, enjoy your acoustic guitars back home in Heaven... We Love You!
@Greg Normal GO AWAY !!!!! STOP trawling YT for females , creep !!!!! I may be male ....you creep me out !! This is the 2nd or 3rd time you have picked me out !! Go away ...I am a man....hahahahaha
Been listening to your music and thinking if you today brother David. Thank you for all the insight that you gave all us kids way back then. We miss and love❤ you. R.I.P. 🌹🙏
I remember the day Bill died. I had an appt across the city (san francisco); Cancelled it bc of traffic. Went to gg park instead. Great day of music and remembering the great Bill Graham
I lived in SF when I wasn't a teen - Got lost GG State Park. But finally made it out !! And Bill Graham -- The Energizer Bunny and The Keeper of Musical Memories. I saw him at a U2 concert he was barking orders of what and how it was supposed to go. !! I'd guess a Type A Personality for all of us that paid $$$ for a great show. Blessed to have Merch from the W. Vault .
roanna, you lucky dickens. I'm sort of jealous that so many people got to see them live together, but I am happy for you that you had that experience. That had to be sooo amazing. ✌🤘❣❤
I was there. a somber day of reflection. I was honored to have met a few times and know aspects of Bill Graham when I was engineering a Rick Griffin art gallery back in 1991. Sixty members of his staff volunteered their time, energy, June 1 to inaugurate our Grand Opening. A total sense of dedication from those he picked to work closely around him. Then in Aug we lost Rick, a few months later went Bill. For some of us life just was never the same again.
Deej dawn-roxanne Over the years I inter-acted with Bill Graham upwards of a dozen times. All mine were positive energy. As Jerry Pompelli could attest I supplied the very last music artifact needed to re-complete the Bill Graham archives following the fire bombings in to the old BGP HQ down off around the 101 curve towards Army St It was the ultra rare Fillmore #7 handbill from 1966. Got it for a hundred, sold it to BGP for same via Jerry coming on down to my Haight at Masonic location circa 1990 or so. Jerry P made specific mention any one else would have soaked 500 for it then. It was NM/M white paper. When I began engineering the multi-levels towards our Rick Griffin Art Gallery thru first half of 91 BGP solicited our business for matting and framing. More meetings and such. Seemed near every one there was in awe of Rick Griffin. Most of the meetings were Bill, Rick and this lowly lost soul. Sure were fun times and many excellent memories.
Sorry, but I disagree. This version is horrible. The guitars dont match in volume and are completely out of the pocket, the electric guitar is not properly tuned, the arrangement is really bad - it sounds like a school band. Bad showmanship and not really rehearsed.
Yay 1991 Golden gate park! Can you believe they are planning some kind of crazy ass event down there this weekend with how many thousands of people in this kind of crazy environment? No thank you very much I will sit right here relaxing and watching Neil and the boys do it. Hey Neil if you are listening I made a video today figuring out how to play drums that totally reminded me and cracked me up of you figuring out how to do the harmonica and being a one-man band when you looked like you were about 12 or so... A look that I have kind of held on to for myself personally... I hope you get to see some of my stuff one day but for now hey hey My My Rock and Roll will never die!! ❤😂🎉😊
I want to disagree with most of these comments.I am 70 years old and remember the 60's ....seeing this performance under the California sun on a cool fall day in 1991 was like stepping out of a time machine to that moment in time,,to see four of the legends of rock, country/folk up on that stage( in middle age) knocking out a CSN legendary song playing classic Martin acoustic guitars and a Fender Telecaster..all together in front of that great crowd..who cares if a guitar was a little out of tune or if Stills cranked his telecaster some..it was cool as hell, that stage performance kicked ass.and the camera/editing work was great..none of that jerk, jerk ,jerk editing in modern rock videos or performances..watch that on a big computer screen or HD Television, crank up the sound and it was like you had gone back in time and were right there in the audience! It was awesome seeing those legends perform together live with that great crowd spread out in the park..Wish I could have been there! Grahm Nash stole the show,, man he's good!

Was 19 when CNY was released. Everyone went crazy for them. No accounting for taste, they say. I never was a fan- just didn't get it. Years later, 'Southern Cross' was a favorite.
Lord, please let Croz know how much we loved him and his music, like the song;🎶"Keep Your Children Well"🎶because your Son Jesus loved the little children, all the children of the world. May David Crosby be🎸playing in peace in the🕊Angels Choir and his music "Carry On" forevermore. Amen 19.01.2023 🇨🇦✌🏻🎶💔(+🇺🇦)✨🌎💫

Happy birthday, David. Watching on his birthday in 2022.
This is a spectacularly uncoordinated arrangement and they seem out of sync with each other. Perhaps they are better without Neil Young, but I'm not saying it's his fault here.
I LOVE Them. The harmonies, the lyrics...I just love them! The best music ever was from the 60's, 70's and 80's!!!

A wonderful song, forever meaningful! We need to get back to the unity of that time and stop all of the divisive hate that so permeates our society.

I think it’s great hearing more of David voice, but clearly they didn’t have a good sound check, cuz you mostly heard the guitar

James Sim energy has to be transmitted and that's how we live
The sound man can make you or break you. This one was paid too much
I'll give them an F for this one.
But best was the first version. I heard whem i was teeangers years ago.
Sorely miss Jerry Garcia’s pedal steel licks and fills.
doesnt hurt me much , woodstock 1969
definitely past their prime
But not dead ( yet ) as of now 🥳🤓☺️😉😉😉😉
No this is only 1991 and they've done great performances since. Just a really bad day.
