From LA to New Orleans to South Africa to Venezuela to India to Congo to Sydney our souls have just been soothed by the international language of music!
How could you possibly give this a thumb's down?!!.. Every time I watch/listen to this tune it makes me feel so good!! and hopeful... yes - please - vote baby - and teach your children well - and love!!!.. and dance
People playing for change have much more talent than people playing for BIG BUCKS. People should be doing free concerts right now especially after our loss with COVID. Look at these beautiful voices......wonderful. Beautiful........thanks for posting. grace 💌
They all blow me away, but the combo of Grandpa Elliot on Blues harp, Roberto Luti on slide guitar, Tula on vocals, and the fabulous drummer is combustible.
The sound engineers are the unsung talent of PFC, I have commented that what a beautiful job they have listening to the full 'Playing Around the World' recordings of the all the talent but then have burden to pick & cut so much of it to mix those amazingly beautiful compilations.
This live performance embodies all that we believe in: soulful music with an inspiring message helping us to move forward as a human race, one heart and one song at a time!
+Google Minus FIrst of all, love the name Google Minus. Second, thanks for the correction. The song was on Deja Vu, which was released in 1970, so I must have been thinking about when I heard it on the radio.
Every time I hear THIS version of 'Teach Your Children', I feel a hand around my heart, squeezing it ever so gently, meaningfully and tenderly! And then I am so thankful that I can hear it - let it sink into my being and I am transformed! Thank you 'Playing for a Change'!
I found out about this band as i play the button accordion and learnt one of their tunes. and learnt it in just over 30 minutes, now i can play along with them. This rendition sung by Talu is simply magic. I am fed up of all these up coming people who think they can sing and go on shows like the voice and just scream.. every person here in the band is true talent and bliss to listen too... i do wish i could go to one of their shows and get to meet them and shake their hands.
"old song" ??? nope ... because it was written in the 1970s doesn't make it "old" ... it's endearment just means it's a timeless song ... not old .. Just like "Ripple" by the Dead
@@alan4sure What? He didn't say he's been listening to THIS song for 70 years! He didn't even say the song is the most beautiful, it's this rendition he likes over all the other music he's heard. That is so obvious.
I've come back and watched those performances numerous times, Tula is an incredible vocal artists and has a wonderful stage presence, but the whole vocal arrangement is wonderful as are the background singers. This is probably the best arrangement and performance of this song ever (although I think the performance in Curitiba has even a bit more soul) I love it and it's beauty is stunning and almost make me tear up. marvellous.
dam and i felt silly sitting here with tears runin down my 70 year old cheeks some of the best musak i have heard in years and years >inspired oh yes I am

How lucky are, we human beings, to be able to hear and appreciate this version of a Graham Nash song. This, I think, is why he wrote this song and Crosby and Stills saw it for its impact and importance. Thank you PFC and Google Worldwide cool stuff now 50+ years ago this song owned and gripped my heart Reinforced what I knew as true I taught it Carry On
