Lovely job mate. The dental floss and heat gun is a great idea 👍

The carbon additions look great, especially the radiator additions. Where did you get the Triumph lettering for the tank from? Cheers

The Triumph badges came from my Triumph dealer, worked out to be roughly AUD $95 a side, so not cheap. Thanks for watching.

Your mods look excellent. Great to see the end caps on!! Thinking of replacing my rear wheel hugger with Carbonfbr’s extended hugger. Won’t look as good but will reduce silt, dirt etc from collecting in and around swing arm when I get caught out in the rain. Seems to happen every weekend which results in a 90 minute clean afterwards 😂😂😂. Have you had any trouble with your rear brake? Mine was subject to the recall but has been back 3 times to dealer. Still not as it should be.

Hey mate, the end caps are on thanks to your suggestion! I’m sort of blessed in that I don’t get a lot of wet weather riding, and if I get caught out, a quick pressure wash sees it clean and sparkly again. I think the extended hugger would be a must if you were daily riding it though., and the carbon one certainly looks the business. I’ve had my brakes bled 3 times now, and the dealer told me Triumph has changed the process a few times now. The latest method takes a solid half hour to do apparently. The other two things that folk on the forums say is a more permanent fix is either (or both) upgrading the fluid to high temp racing fluid, or replacing the rear brake line as it’s proximity to the exhaust softens it. I don’t see how a slightly spongy line equals air in the system, and as the Brembo stylema system is on other bikes like the Diavel and Panigale and they get issues as well, I suspect the ABS module might be a weakness. Luckily even with no rear brakes to speak of, the fronts still stop it on a dime… Hopefully they come up with a fix, and my dealer said even though my bike is now out of warranty, the ongoing brake saga is still covered…

Hopefully my dealer takes the same approach. When the rear brake works, it’s excellent but complete failure from time to time is no fun. Good to hear they’re looking at alternatives. Stay safe out there😊

Love everything you’ve done to the mighty rocket, especially the red trim to the wheels. Q. Does the screen make a difference when touring? I turn into a parachute when I start to go at pace, and not ridiculous speed.

Hi Chris, thanks for that, I think I’ve got it pretty much looking the way I want it now. While the screen isn’t going to keep you dry in the rain or anything, I do find at my height (5’10”) that it smooths the air over my helmet allowing me to sustain higher speeds for longer. Without it I’d get a fair amount of buffeting around 120km/h and up, now it’s…. more… 😁 Thanks for watching!

On your advice I’m ordering one tomorrow. I absolutely love that I can watch Australian content creators do their thing and show out countryside and bikes…please keep it up.
