Yeah I don’t really like that part. In the original books firestar is finally killed taken down his rival but in this one it’s by a fire and he should’ve lasted longer
The Three: Jayfeather: ~ Can practically read other cat’s minds ~ Can walk in people’s dreams ~ Has 1001 IQ HollyLeaf: ~ Is good at drama (especially at gatherings) ~ Stealth mode ~ Good at enforcing the law Lionblaze: *i fight good and not get hurted*
@@wolfkitty42 With that in mind, and with how Medicine cats usually can just tell how many lives a leader has, imagine Jayfeather feeling Firestar die every time, and with his emotion-sensing power, he _feels_ Firestar’s pain and suffering as he’s dying. With the entire Ashfur and Squirrelflight fight in front of him, he probably just starts having a panic attack or something, and when he screams that Firestar is dead dead, he’s probably crying from the pain. Like, that’s bound to traumatize him deeply. It also could add to Bramblestar losing a life due to the poisoning! Jayfeather can feel that Bramblestar feels extremely unwell, but he just doesn’t understand _why,_ and he also doesn’t want to lose another leader, much less his father.
"And for the cherry on top, Bramblestar makes Hollyleaf his new deputy, because she is 'the only cat willing to be honest with him.'" Now THAT is an Omega Oof.
@@hyalophora not really. Just with cats she’s training. I think she’s so popular because of a mix of being an intimidating villain, being a female villain, having an actual backstory and reason to be evil other than “muahahahaha evil now”, and being really pretty but without much cannon art so people can experiment.
@Ethereal26 agreed. And her ghost is even worse. For example, she never interacts with Starclan cats? I’m pretty sure she murdered Appledusk, Reedshine, Oakstar, and the others ghosts just because they never show up in the Starclan Darkforest fight, but what about her kits? I find it hard to believe she never interacted with her children in the afterlife, or even the fact that Reedshine and her kits survived until a natural death given the fact that ghosts can murder living cats. Also that she randomly chose Crookedstar, even though there’s other relatives of Appledusk that were alive before him. I’ve heard people say that Mapleshade killed Mosskit, which would fit but just makes her ghost even *more* confusing, and this explanation isn’t even factoring in why she cared about Goosefeather, and many other seemingly random inaccuracies.
@@toshowmyfriends2567 the only thing I disagree on is the "why CrookedStar" comment. Of course him, he was isolated and hated because he broke his jaw, and MapleShade provided him with attention and praise when almost nobody else would. To a villain, he's the perfect pawn.
@@bonnietelocole6777 I understand why she chose Crookedstar, I just don’t understand why she chose only Crookedstar. Stormfur, Feathertail, Stonefur and Mistystar were half-clan kits, Reedshine’s original kits probably got treated differently after the events of the book, etc. I don’t understand why she limited herself to Crookedstar then seemed to forget about her promise to end Appledusk’s bloodline. I don’t understand why she didn’t do it to *all* his descendants
Personally I always liked the idea that the Three got their powers from the Dark Forest. It explains why their powers go away after the big hell battle, and Rock saying that they never should've been born also makes more sense. And, in the context of your AU, would explain why StarClan is scared of the Three.
This rewrite is so much more interesting and suspenseful than the entirety of Power of Three and Omen of The Stars! I wasn’t sure how I was gonna like villain Hollyleaf but it ended up being really cool! And the portal from the world of the dead to the world of the living fills in the plot gap that the Erins left on how The Dark Forest cats and StarClan cats got into the world of the living to help their sides of the Great War!!
You can prefer whichever one you want, but I can't deny that this rewrite made me emotional at the end. The three separated? Jesus Christ Tennelle is good at rewriting..
I love how in the finished project of the drawing, Sol's tail is separating Hollyleaf from both of her brothers, like how Sol did in your rewrite. I don't know if it was intentional but either way it was a nice touch and I loved it!
@@billcipher8645 He's definitely the closest character in the series to attempt suicide. However, I don't think the intention was to make him literally suicidal. It's more that his grief made him unafraid of death and led to him being impulsive and careless. That is a symptom of suicidality, but he didn't directly attempt it. He also seemingly got over it pretty quickly. I don't think he was depressed, but deeply grieving.
@@sindrevangenrobberstad2889 Makes sense. It also changed him a lot. After Leafpool as well he became so much more bitter and cold. Poor Breezepelt and Nightcloud..
@@billcipher8645 I recommend you read Crowfeather's Trial. I won't spoil too much, but it takes place after Omen of the Stars, and involves him reconciling with and befriending Breezepelt and Nightcloud. It's very sweet and satisfying. It does get better for him and his family, and that's a very hopeful message and ending for a character that experienced so much tragedy. It's also a pretty good super edition.

@@TennelleFlowers The main reason I’m still here in the Warriors community, is really just for the community itself- the actual books are kind of descending into a mess of unorganized... stuff?.... sometimes I feel like the Erins are making these books just for money now... oof...
Honestly, I don't know how anyone could get the impression being a _doctor_ is easier than being a policeman/soldier/grocer. Though, from how much they play up bloodlines, small-mindedness isn't too hard for me to imagine.
That awkward moment when a cat animator can come up with better plots, conflicts, and characters that fit together in a story than an entire team of professional authors. (not trying to throw shade at Tennelle, I think that you did a good job with this)
I think the thing I love most about the warriors fandom is that we know the books are... Ok. Theyre good but theyre just that only ok. We use our creativity to make beautiful stories. Even when the books fail to satisfy us we scrap together the good parts to make our own stories and our own aus.
i never really knew what people were talking about in the Omen of the Stars arc, or more so how bad it was, until I read the last few books. It does seem they ran out of time, and not a lot of story was put into the deaths or build up. I agree though, it's warriors, I'm a little biased, and it's okay.
I know right? During the fire scene, it felt like the two (and hollyleaf) had been fully grown warriors since a book ago, but jay feather literally gets his name in the same book? The only other cats I can think of that were apprentices for THIS freaking long were swift paw and his apprentice group… yeah Honestly surprising they didn’t bitch to firestar about that
Rereading the FOURTH book, they are still apprentices... How long can they be stuck in the teenager role? arent they well past the age of evolving into a warrior, or at least at it? like cmon id be so mad
@@laurenswholesale Jayfeather was an apprectice until near the end of the ffth, though... leafpool did jay dirty with that, it took so long and nobody cared except like himself
I may be mis-remembering but i think deadfoot also got sick easily and had breathing problems, so yeah hes a great example of a disabled warrior (and also just one of my favorite underappreciated characters)
Holy sh- if this wasn’t a rewrite this would’ve been my favorite thing to read, constantly talking about it and re-reading it. This was very fun to listen to!
My friend had a blind cat who was surprisingly very smart, her sense of smell was AMAZING so she could get around wherever, but sometimes she'd bump into walls and stuff. She was really old at the time, and yeah. I think she'd make an amazing warrior/hunter with her sense of smell, I don't think she'd be well in battle though. A couple of months ago, she died due to being very old. R.I.P Lydia. You were an awesome cat with astounding abilities.
I had a thought... if Holly and Lion are still in the dark forest when Ivy joins, there could be an epic threesome of secret dark forest rebels! And holly could get redemption from helping Ivy do the right thing. Maybe we can even get a 'ghost holly kills ghost hawk and fades away completely'to spice things up for our poor jay-bae.
*The Erins are shaking beneath Tennelle’s great story telling feet after this* Edit: PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAAASE CONTINUE THIS AU, ITS MY FAVORITE AU EVER AND I WILL WATCH IT ON REWIND FOR HOURS
i’m so sad that lionblaze ended up in the dark forest despite his redemption and his attempts to escape the dark forest but it makes sense for him to use his powers that way. i looove the changes made to his character, he feels like a true protagonist now instead of just playing with heathertail in the tunnels and fighting with berrynose.
As someone who is blind, I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you said about warriors and disabilities in this video. I’ve always been annoyed by the way this series treats characters with disabilities, and I’m glad someone pointed it out.
someone has finally confronted the fact,, that outcast is the most unmemorible book ever forever. i mean even the new prophecy was memorable for how much traveling there is-
@@searing878 I don't remember, I would just look for a part that mentions Tawnypelt (which is gonna take a lot of time, I know) I did post that like 4 months ago? .w.
"Now the Three are in charge of the whole Clan." that sent CHILLS down my spine idk why. but this rewrite is EPIC. it has me more invested than the actual arc. cant wait to see the omen of the stars rewrite!!! edit: BROO that ENDING IS SO HEART WRENCHING AND SUCH A CLIFF HANGERRR. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Bro, I adore this! My personal nostalgia bias likes best the bit about Hollyleaf becoming deputy and acting leader, because early on when I read this arc, I picked up on how smart a leader Holly would be, and I hoped she would become the leader of ThunderClan one day. So much for that! But in this AU, I like how even though she's a dangerous acting leader, it makes sense with what's going on and is satisfying, just in a different way.
Yes, going off of canon, I maintain to this day that Firestar should have died earlier, and Bramble should have made Holly deputy, who eventually made Ivypool her dep. it just made sense and would have been fun exploring the clan not liking them/being suspicious of their leadership
I wish you were apart of the Erin Hunter team so bad . I hate power of three , and was preparing to go to bed before I clicked on this video .. I cannot sleep because I cannot stop thinking about this and toying with your ideas . I long for this to be cannon, it would easily be my favorite arc .. you did absolutely amazing with this rewrite and I’m at a loss for words and cannot explain to you how awestruck and just ... perfect this is .. thank you so much for rewriting such a boring arc into something so fantastical .. god damn this is just ?? Wow ... WOW !! I know this will be a video I will return to !
Oh my GOD YOU GAVE HOLLYLEAF AN APPRENTICE!!! This. Should. Have. Happened! And I like that you made Firestar into more of a proactive leader here. It fits his personality more than him just fading into the distance like he did in POT and OOTS until BAM surprise he's the fourth cat. Ugh. Also the poster looks SO DOPE will it be available as merch?
@@susiepilled THAT is some STAKE right there. I mean sure there was SOME stakes since it was firestar's last life, but him being a spirit cat fighting spirit tigerstar....if firestar dies AGAIN that's IT. He's GONE which is HORRIFYING to think about.
Interesting rewrite! My suspicion is that Hollyleaf believes she's dead, but that she actually isn't. You mentioned that during the fire scene she has a bunch of near-death experiences but she comes out of them okay - perhaps Hollyleaf does have a power after all, and it's related to her ability to survive circumstances that would kill other cats, such as having the tunnel cave in. ...Or perhaps my interpretation is just an AU of an AU ;D
This makes sense since her body isn't actually there. That means that she only went through the portal. If she were dead, her body would still be there if she were.
Perhaps Hollyleaf’s body remains in the “half-dead” state seen in the Broken Code, stuck somewhere, while her spirit is in the Dark Forest. I suspect this because I don’t think physical bodies can enter ghost cat afterlives. If Hollyleaf really is alive, I think that would be a likely possibility.
Tennelle’s ending feels more like that of a tragic end to a myth or legend. After all the growth we have seen from our heroes the story ends with sacrifice, loss and mourning. You can argue this was always present in the original POT (and to be fair the original ending WAS always tragic) but this time the story has truly been shaped by the actions of our protagonists and we end off with our characters facing consequences and commitments that will open up the next chapter of the story (OOTS) in a fulfilling way. A great AU! Equally delivering things I’ve always wanted from the story( such as Hollyleaf in a position of leadership, Lionblaze having growth, and Jayfeather getting the respect he deserves) with the canon realities of our heroes’ mindsets.
I can confirm that my three-legged cat is in no way lesser than my "normal" cat. She quite often is stronger, faster, quieter, and smarter than my other cat. Definitely more skittish though, but that's just her personality.
can we just accept this as canon? or as a "Rewritten AU"? because this is better than the original series and I want to see fan content made off of this version
The way that you described Hawkfrost's look of betrayal after Lionpaw leaves makes me believe that Hawkfrost will have a similar character arc/developement, as Theatrical's Hawkfrost AU.
Ok woah this was amazing. I wish that this had actually happened, because it makes all of the characters so much more complicated, especially Lionblaze and villain Hollyleaf. Also the portal from the dark forest is great, like i didn't understand how they just kinda... teleported out of there?? And the way that the three unlock new parts of their powers is great. This is so much better than the actual books i love all of these characters rhshjfjsjdf please why didnt this happen

I just checked, looks like there was a twitter post about their pronouns not long ago. Was there a RUclips community post as well, and I just missed it?
I find it poetic how Hollyleaf was the one to destroy the Moonpool. Especially when you take into account that Leafpool, (back then Leafpaw) was the one to discover the Moonpool in the first place. I kind of find it pretty poetic how the Kit of a cat who discovered the Moonpool, ended up being the one who destroyed it.
I don't have a 3 legged cat, but I do have a three legged dog. And let me tell you one thing, it does not hold her back. She our fastest dog, using her one back leg to LAUNCH herself when running. When she was a pup, her main playmate was an overly energetic labradoodle, who loved to play rough. So despite having only three legs, she could be a warrior easily if she were actually a cat.
What I can remember from outcast: Tribe needs help cuz filler, purdy saves three uhhh Hollypaw was scared of Lionpaw once, tribe don’t want help, tribe of endless hunting don’t want to help, they help, the tribe doesn’t do help well, they beat the villains or something something, uhhhh cliffhanger. Oh yea and Jaypaw considered poisoning Breezepaw (arguably the best part)
This is a petition to make TennelleFlower the main writer of warrior cats every like is one signature we need as many as we can for a better warrior cats tomorrow.
I enjoy that we have a lot of the same ideas about what to do with this arc, especially Lionblaze's character! I'd love to see this become a fic someday. Maybe if I ever finish my rewrite lol.
Hearing your narration and explanations on new scenes, I said “yikes” in so many moments, it’s indescribable. You did a really good job making me care for the story haha Also what is this other Power of Three you speak of? This is the real story
Agreed. I'd saw off an arm for this to be published canon. I mean, my god. I meant to listen to a little bit before I started homework for the night, but I got sucked in and it's now 3:52 am and I've done nothing but watch this vid. I regret nothing. I love watching ex-warrior superfans talk and critique the series nonstop even though I have no clue what they're talking about. I'm like 6 minutes into the video already hooked onto something I don't know lmao 😭
You had me hanging on the edge of my seat this whole video, especially towards the end, when the tension was really high. And then, when the emotions were at their peak, with the overwhelming task ahead of Jayfeather realized, through the silence... EPILOGUE! That really got me XD. I laughed for a good 3 minutes. In all seriousness though, this is probably the most incredible story/au/fanfiction/any piece of literature I've heard all year. Maybe even my whole life. Seeing how much effort went into this has made me EXTREMELY hyped for clouded moon. Aside from the amazing story, the art is beautiful. I could look at it for hours. I am indeed inspired. Thankyou so much for taking the time to make this. You've made my day.
I love mostly everything about this new rewrite, but the only thing is that I would rather have fire-star have a more epic death, so we don’t have just his death and that be that. I love the way he dies in the original series with all his clan mates watching and him finally defeat his life long enemy. That’s just my personal opinion but everything else I would ABSOLUTELY love to have. I just feel like it’s too much of a boring death for the cat we started the whole warriors series on.
Real talk, Tennelle, If you had written Power of Three, I may have been a Warriors fan a lot longer. (I'm here cause I love your animation pilgrimage, and the warriors nostalgia is a great bonus!) Sooo much more satisfying and love the ending! Keep up the amazing work!
Crowpaw deadass tries to throw himself in front of a car on the way back to the Clans from the journey, & when Squirrelpaw & Brambleclaw hold him down he protests that he wants to be with Feathertail. It’s genuinely one of the darkest moments in the series n it’s surprising how no one remembers it 😔
I feel like the reverse would be better because the dod as cats would just be Clay as a big brown cat or Starflight as a tall black cat. You would have more creativity for example, making Jayfeather a seer nightwing
I like the idea of the ending, because maybe when ivypool trains in the dark forest, she'll have hollyleaf to guide her and maybe even become best friends XD (it's just my opinion tho)
Okay, also can we go back to the time in one of the new prophecy books where Cinderpelt literally hunts like a mouse or something while the medicine cats are trying to find their next way to communicate to StarClan? Like- she can literally hunt.
this would be a much better story than what we got, i think. personally, i would put in a whole bunch of minor plot points where the three do things that help emphasize how important the prophecy is while also pushing for some character growth and development just so we can have that same feeling we got from canon about something big was going down but that's something every writer has to decide for themselves. .
Ah, this is just beautiful. You gave Lionblaze interesting and emotional moments, Hollyleaf had more gradual development, and Jayfeather was adjusted to feel like he wasn't just giving in. But what I was most looking forward to in this AU was Sol, and you knocked that out of the park. He's still a false prophet, but his goals aren't just "I will destroy all the Clans because Skyclan specifically didn't like how I kidnapped three children." (Happens to the best of us, buddy). This Sol seems to honestly believe that he could do a better job at helping cats than Starclan, and the fact that his predictions seem to come true only makes that more interesting. For that matter, how did he know to ask Midnight about the Power of Three, and what did he mean by "extinguish their power for good?" Does he mean he would kill them(to be fair, he did succeed to some extent), or did he mean something...more? Ah, I can't wait for him to hopefully make a return in your Omen of the Stars!
Okay, ideas for the likes of minor plot points discussed at the end: *Stormfur, Brook and Purdy* - Stormfur had gotten a dream from StarClan that a danger is coming to his old home, and he decides he must go back to help them. Brook decides to go with him, as it would be dangerous to go alone. - Stormfur and Brook, on the way to the clans, run into Purdy. He reconnects with Stormfur and befriends Brook as the trio start to venture down there together. They meet Sol on the way with his followers. The trio are a bit suspicious of this group of cats, especially when Sol starts mentioning something about a prophecy, and decide to spy on Sol and his followers. This may make for a good prologue of Outcast. - For a bit of fun, maybe have Stormfur, Brook and Prudy split up to try and find information of the prophecy and Sol in the clans, Purdy in ThunderClan (he joins ThunderClan), Brook in ShadowClan (maybe they'd be willing to take her onboard if they invite Sol in) and Stormfur in RiverClan (I mean, come on, it's where he grew up for most of his kithood and apprenticeship). Okay, okay, yes, WindClan isn't covered, but hey, the medicine cats go to the Moonpool which is close to WindClan and the trio could ask them for info. - At the end of Eclipse, Stormfur and Brook take it upon themselves to chase Sol and their followers out of the clans' territory and to try and venture further to help the Clans find a new way of talking to StarClan. The four clans are sad to see them go, but understand that the two of them want to help. This is probably good footing for them to be seen again in Omen of the Stars, if that was the goal. Purdy is too old to be travelling and stays with ThunderClan by the end of the book. *Cinderheart and Lionblaze* - Maybe during the back half of the arc, there could be some sparks between them, especially when Lionblaze leads the rebellion against Hollyleaf. Then Cinderheart becomes depressed as she wonders what's happened to Lionblaze as they were getting to be quite good friends. I haven't really thought about it much. *Tawnypelt* - Since Tawnypelt is Bramblestar's sister, I think she'd stay for a while in ThunderClan very concerned for her brother. And then she spies on Hollyleaf as per Lionblaze's request as you said. I can also picture a scene or two where Tawnypelt and her kits walk into Bramblestar's den and whisper words of encouragement to him, saying that he will be a good leader and doesn't need to pretend to be Firestar in order to do that.
God, I adore this with my whole heart. The summary left me hooked, and at the end I was literally on the edge of my seat. If no one makes a fanfic / full fix it fic using this idea once Tennelle posts their Omen of the Stars video then good god I will.
Oh my god dude, this was incredible. It makes Hollyleaf's descent into tragic villainy much more gradual and believable. And that last scene: UGH so much emotion, I loved it! The one thing I'd prefer is if there was a little more focus placed on trying to find out the three's parentage and the effect it has on them, since it was kind of a Big Deal and I think it deserves a lot of time to sit and build tension. But overall, a beautiful rewrite! I'm tempted to try and start actually making this into a story. It just feels like there's so much to work with here!
???: These guys are good StarClan: These guys are good StarClan: We're going to give them OP powers. [this was by @n o ] StarClan: Oh no, A BIG MISTAKE THAT WE MADE StarClan: These guys will destroy you, GET THEM OUT!
one of my characters, springpaw, while not heavily disabled at birth, is a lot smaller than an average cat her age. she begins to have hyper sensitive.. well, senses, and they cause her to begin to accidentally hurt herself. she even gets harshly attacked by another character. however, despite all this, and all the troubles in her life, she’s a warrior apprentice, and will be a warrior when she gets there. while the current leader gives her extra assistance, she isn’t forced into a medicine cat role. she was kept a kit for an extra moon and while now being the age of a warrior she’s being held back. but she’s still becoming a warrior, just at her own pace! sorry for infodumping about spingy here but yeah. i hate the ableism in these books. (one of my friends characters in the same roleplay was an entirely blind warrior and there’s several other disabilities our kitties have.)
@@emilymonahan5232 yeah but they can’t do everything a fully able cat can - a blind cat wouldn’t be that good at chasing prey in a forest or fighting in a full battle, for example So don’t call that other person a dipshit, I’ll admit they didn’t need to make the comment but like, they’re a little bit right
anyway disabled people not being able to do things other people do isnt the point of ableist criticism iirc anyway (although warrior cats is not very good at researching how cats with disabilities act in the real world.) it's that they are seen as lesser and 'useless.' briarlight, for example, is pretty much considered useless by the rest of thunderclan, but there's ton of jobs she can still do around the clan like repair dens, take care of / watch kits, gather herbs, etc.
I really loved how you not only set up the dark forest but also gave them a way to get into the clan's territory and I love what you did with hollyleaf's character it really makes her 3D and a character you could actually relate to.
This rewrite made me so emotional. I felt every character beat and it was amazing from a writer who loves plot and character synergy. I want to read this series.
OH WOW. BEAUTIFUL. The character arcs of the main characters is just *chef's kiss*, same for Sol. It finally gave Sol the manipulative, creepy energy he was meant to have but never achieved. It creates REAL CONFLICT with StarClan, which we've only seen so far with The Broken Code. You can't see what's coming next from a mile away like with most Warriors books and I usually can't sit down and watch an hour and a half long video with ease, but this was just great. It gave Lionblaze a personality, it made Hollyleaf interesting and not come off as a throwaway character because the Erins couldn't come up with a power; this had a PLAN! The Hollyleaf drama in this is interesting and it would actually make sense if Hollyleaf stayed dead or came back, no matter what, instead of just "oops, sorry, she's been living in the tunnels for a while haha". Lionblaze being a little rat spawn was also very interesting to me and I enjoy as well how Jayfeather got to choose being a medicine cat. This also is probably just my personal pet peeve, but I disliked how Firestar's death came at the most heroic time in the history of the whole Warriors universe, and I get it, he's the main man, but it was refreshing to get a heroic death that wasn't at the climax of the entire 60-book series. Again, loved Hollyleaf getting a purpose other than to die without a power. Her as deputy and acting leader satisfied my little heart. Evil Hollyleaf wasn't something I expected, but woah, a plot twist that isn't visible from a mile away? Loved it. I also found the real sibling conflict that actually drove them far apart satisfyingly realistic. There are too many things I liked about this to list in one RUclips comment, so I'll have to leave this open ended, but just amazing. Great work.
Three years later and this still goes crazy. I absolutely love this rewrite and always think back to your line "I want to make THIS story work"; that specifically has shaped the way I view and critique media, as well as my own writing. Thank you for this amazing video.
there's an animated video on the Curse of the Three-and out of all of them, I think Jayfeather and Dovewing have the most painful curse. Jayfeather can't tell what his feelings, thoughts, emotions are from his clanmates, driving him to insanity. Lionblaze kills everyone to try and help Jayfeather, but with no one to care for blind cats like him and Longtail, they starve to death. Christ. But then there's also Dovewing, who's able to hear as well as the books, but to the nth degree. She can even hear the pumping of hearts, blood pumping through veins, every breath, even as far as RiverClan territory. Her ears BLEED because the clan just WON'T. BE. *_QUIIET!!_* So she RIPS her ears off but blood loss, and sleep deprivation end up killing her. Holy god. Lionblaze just hurts anyone he touches. Sad, but not as bad as jay and dove.
Okay, book order, I hope I get this right: Title of the rewrite is on the right, title of the real book is on the left. The Sight (No change) Dark Passage (Dark River) Long Shadows (Outcast) Sunrise (Eclipse) Outcast (Long Shadows) Eclipse (Sunrise) Edit: Okay, just finished it and... wow! That gave me some chills. I loved what you did with the Tribe of Rushing Water, connecting the tunnels to the story arc, and the whole thing with Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf being seperated.
Okay this made me actually feel very much so tense and wanting to know more please make more of this continue what you have started please I beg of you this is a great story and I want to know more

Her power is luck, and incredible survival skills! :)
@@testerwulf3357 well you know what they say, “I’d rather be lucky than good.”

A conversation between Leaf and Holly after this took place could be so interesting and emotional.

I feel like the reverse would be better because the dod as cats would just be Clay as a big brown cat or Starflight as a tall black cat. You would have more creativity for example, making Jayfeather a seer nightwing
@@juliaguevara4512 True that's a good point
I like the idea of the ending, because maybe when ivypool trains in the dark forest, she'll have hollyleaf to guide her and maybe even become best friends XD (it's just my opinion tho)
I feel like Hollyleaf would try to lead Ivypool on the right path and try to make her know what the Dark Forest actually is
Or Hollyleaf would be forgiven for her sins and gets accepted into Starclan
YES. FANTASTIC IDEA!
Okay, also can we go back to the time in one of the new prophecy books where Cinderpelt literally hunts like a mouse or something while the medicine cats are trying to find their next way to communicate to StarClan? Like- she can literally hunt.
Doesn't she does that in season 1 book 6 as well?
Luna oh yeah I think so
"It's only fanfiction, it can't hurt you."
The fanfiction:
this would be a much better story than what we got, i think. personally, i would put in a whole bunch of minor plot points where the three do things that help emphasize how important the prophecy is while also pushing for some character growth and development just so we can have that same feeling we got from canon about something big was going down but that's something every writer has to decide for themselves.
Everyone, Tennelle uses the pronouns He/Him/They/Them so please respect that and use their correct pronouns!
I will help share this new imformation
Thank you so much for the heart Tennelle! I'm a huge fan!
Thanks for putting this out here because youtube is my only social media so I have no way of knowing this... thank you! :)

Okay, ideas for the likes of minor plot points discussed at the end:
*Stormfur, Brook and Purdy*
- Stormfur had gotten a dream from StarClan that a danger is coming to his old home, and he decides he must go back to help them.
*Cinderheart and Lionblaze*
- Maybe during the back half of the arc, there could be some sparks between them, especially when Lionblaze leads the rebellion against Hollyleaf. Then Cinderheart becomes depressed as she wonders what's happened to Lionblaze as they were getting to be quite good friends. I haven't really thought about it much.
*Tawnypelt*
- Since Tawnypelt is Bramblestar's sister, I think she'd stay for a while in ThunderClan very concerned for her brother.
???: These guys are good
StarClan: These guys are good
StarClan: We're going to give them OP powers. [this was by @n o ]

StarClan: These guys will destroy you, GET THEM OUT!
Starclan didn’t give the powers though.

@@meIIohi I do be silent tho
one of my characters, springpaw, while not heavily disabled at birth, is a lot smaller than an average cat her age. she begins to have hyper sensitive.. well, senses, and they cause her to begin to accidentally hurt herself. she even gets harshly attacked by another character. however, despite all this, and all the troubles in her life, she’s a warrior apprentice, and will be a warrior when she gets there. while the current leader gives her extra assistance, she isn’t forced into a medicine cat role. she was kept a kit for an extra moon and while now being the age of a warrior she’s being held back. but she’s still becoming a warrior, just at her own pace!
sorry for infodumping about spingy here but yeah. i hate the ableism in these books.
(one of my friends characters in the same roleplay was an entirely blind warrior and there’s several other disabilities our kitties have.)
its not ableism for a cat to be physically unable to do stuff due to their disability, it's realistic
@@vinnie861 blind cats and three legged cats are competent and can hunt dipshit
@@emilymonahan5232 yeah but they can’t do everything a fully able cat can - a blind cat wouldn’t be that good at chasing prey in a forest or fighting in a full battle, for example
So don’t call that other person a dipshit, I’ll admit they didn’t need to make the comment but like, they’re a little bit right
@@aposterous4126 nno, youd be really surprised at how competent blind cats are lmfao
anyway disabled people not being able to do things other people do isnt the point of ableist criticism iirc anyway (although warrior cats is not very good at researching how cats with disabilities act in the real world.) it's that they are seen as lesser and 'useless.' briarlight, for example, is pretty much considered useless by the rest of thunderclan, but there's ton of jobs she can still do around the clan like repair dens, take care of / watch kits, gather herbs, etc.
*long and heart breaking paragraph where jayfeather is now on his own and loses both his siblings *
tennelle: epiLOgueeee!
OH WOW.
Great work.
yup imma pretend that this rewrite is what was written in the books its just canon for me.
Me rewatching this for the millionth time desperately leg-bouncing waiting with unconcealed excitement for the eventual Omen of the Stars rewrite: (:
Three years later and this still goes crazy. I absolutely love this rewrite and always think back to your line "I want to make THIS story work"; that specifically has shaped the way I view and critique media, as well as my own writing. Thank you for this amazing video.
Speaking of Power of Three, I wonder if you’ve ever heard of the Curse of Three au. Maybe it’s too gory to talk about, but I find it very interesting.
I would love to see them make a video on it
there's an animated video on the Curse of the Three-and out of all of them, I think Jayfeather and Dovewing have the most painful curse.
@@ribottostudio yea, jay and dove definitely got the worst fate

Dark Passage (Dark River)
Long Shadows (Outcast)

Edit: Okay, just finished it and...
