  • Pork instead of duck, but same sauce, same flavour. It's accessible even to the novice cook. Try what the Chinese consider to be a simplified analogue, but at the same time - no inferior in flavour to the famous Peking duck. This very simple recipe will surprise you with its flavour and immerse you in the culinary traditions of China and Chinese cuisine. The ingredients are simple:
    pork (carbonate) - 400 g;
    cucumbers (small) - 1 pc;
    leek (only the white part) - 1 pc;
    garlic, ginger, onion - 50 g each.
    Water - 100 ml
    leaf tofu - 100 g;
    sweet soya sauce-paste for Peking Duck - 4 tbsp;
    white sugar - 1 tsp;
    sesame oil - 1 tsp;
    light soy sauce - 1 tbsp,
    Shaoxing wine - 1 tbsp;
    ground ginger - 1 tsp;
    cornstarch - 1 tbsp;
    star anise - 2-3 stars
    oyster sauce - 1,5 tbsp. spoon
    Calorie content of Peking pork - 157 kCal/100 g (Nutrients: Protein 14 g, Fats 8 g, Carbohydrates 7.3 g)
