Hollow Knight is really fun, but my first playthrough was partly hampered because I was thinking to myself "this is fun, but it'll be more fun when I find the double jump" and the Broken Vessel (the boss guarding the double jump upgrade) was, like, one of the last bosses I found in the game

Silk Song did come out in 2023: It was just called Afterimage and you had to use the whip weapon specifically if you wanted to be Hornet. It will come out when it comes out. Plenty of games to play in the mean time

The Adventure Mode runs are a chill time, yeah they aren't fast but I kinda like the more longform runs.

I like watching speedruns to learn the little intricacies of how a game works and how the games economy works and can be broken.
Would love to see "speedrunner vs cheater" cause it'd be just you guys exploring more about one of the best games of all time. (Also, played through SOTN for the first time like, a week ago. Been addicted to speedruns since.)

The most annoying part of Hollow Knight for me was how long it took to get back to each boss after dying to them. That shit added nothing except pissing me off
