Restoring a Classic Sailboat (Phoebe) from 1977

Hauled this adorable 12' O'day Widgeon sailboat out of the brush and got her back in the water after three months of DIY restoration. A labor of love and a true challenge for myself as a first time marine technician with limited sailing experience. Phoebe (as she has now been officially named), had been parked entirely exposed to the elements for around 20 years before this video. Needless to say she was lacking a bit of luster.
Over three months, I gave her a good wash, made several repairs of the folding centerboard, sealed various cracks/chips, replaced the rudder, and re-rigged the entire boat. I gave a bit of attention to the trailer to get it moving, but i'm afraid it may need to be replaced soon.
