Felger is far too black and white leaving out all of the details in how teams get to where they end up while placing it on the quarterback...So many details and much grey area....They both have points but where Bedard is missing it is that they need a legit outside receiver as well as a quick twitch sharp running slot guy with hands...Need an outside guy to help agholor from getting doubled every play.

Bedard wasn't getting all pissy (at the moment mike interjects). Greg simply asked Mike a question. However, this was not a scenario where Felger thought his answer was unsatisfactory and interrupted Bedard before he could finish. And Mac IS ELITE at his skillset. Which is... meticulous film study, pre-snap recognition of defenses, immediate post-snap reads of defenses, immediate recognition of open throw zones, anticipation throws, great touch, accuracy, a catchable ball.

Oh yeah. This isn’t the first segment Felger was ‘mystified’ as to why Bedard was getting so angry. Felger’s interested in good radio and picks scabs. Greg prepares for the show and gets annoyed when Felger derails his breakdowns because talking Oline isn’t sexy radio. Sometimes it’s funny and sometimes it’s just annoying because I only listen on Tuesdays to hear Bedard’s analysis. Felger and Mazz are ‘take’ guys…they don’t let real analysis get in the way of a good take.

Those elite guys were always there, issue is Tom Brady consistently beat them lol.. Peyton manning, Mcnaab, Warner, maholmes, McNair, rothlisburger, rivers, etc… issue is the media perception of elite has changed to the running back who can throw some, example Lamar Jackson… so now the fans that watch the media have the same perspective that elite means runner… imo an elite QB is a person who can read defenses and throw the ball to the best matchup consistently and makes those plays in high stress situations.. that I believe is the job description lol.. but I’m not gonna debate the media who is consistently wrong and has god like attitudes towards knowing football.

I think it’s possible to win without a top 5 QB but you need to have a high end defense and good coaching. Elite QB play takes pressure off of everyone else and that’s why you see more elite QB win more because every team has bad days, every team has flaws but if you have someone where that doesn’t matter as much it’s easier to win. I would prefer rule changes to balance that out but the NFL doesn’t care about competitive integrity as much as they pretend to.

San Diego 3 times Brady threw picks needed a idiot Chargers DB to take stupid pills after he picks Brady he fumbles. How about Denver the game where Manning tore them apart & Brady was bad. How about the other Denver game when Miller & Ware were teeing off on Tom???? How about the Ravens playoff losses??? It all works as 1 granted a talent can cover up problems but a talent can’t win by himself needs help Elway never won until Terrell Davis showed up. Montana hits Taylor for a winning score John Taylor could have been a #1 anywhere else yet he had the greatest WR over on the opposite side.
