I love Billy Porter. This reminds me of the shows that my friends and I attended back in the teaming 70s and 80s. I loved my beautiful incredible loving and kind Gay friends. I miss them so much!!! I learned so much from them. I learned about unconditional love of friends. Being a straight Black young fat woman back in the day, I learned how to embrace myself and how to love and laugh at myself. They never laughed me. They laughed with me. We spent most of our days off from work going to the discos, backyard parties, bbqs and picnics. Walked for hours along the lakefront in Chicago. So much, but I don't want to ramble. I defended "the children" when they were alive and will continue to defend the ones who are still with us. God did not make no junk!! To all of my amazing, wild and crazy, sweet and gentle Gay friends I will love you forever, and ya know that.

Billy missed the mark. He is someone who has suffered from discrimination because he is different.
