It really does feel like the intended path you're meant to take, especially considering how Toriel's fight is one of the only fights where the puzzle isn't obvious.
This really takes me back, i feel like a lot of people could learn a lot about how influential undertale really was by watching this video. It really changed indie games in gameplay, writing, and music, into something we take for granted nowadays.
Oh my god. You have no idea how happy I am to see a playthrough of Undertale that is untouched by an audience or spoilers. Seriously. Every let's player in 2015 when they played this game were at least spoiled on the fact that sparing everyone is the good ending and they should do it first. Seeing someone actually make choices and get a neutral ending that is their own experience is so rare. Thanks for uploading this.
Even if EAAO came first, I think it's more just that when a character is immortal/unkillable, and has power over reality, it's very possible to fall into believing nothing matters.

Anyone got a time stamp for him meeting *Lesser Dog?* Edit: 12:37 nvm I got confused and was searching through the pacifist and genocide routes not the neutral route
It's funny that the only game where I can even think of a similar concept is Doom, where the Slayers sheer hatred let him survive things that would kill anyone else, and rip demons apart bare-handed. So funny goat mom game and doom have a link I guess. But yeah I wish they used that as more of a mechanic. That if you IMMEDIATELY attack you gain a huge damage boost, the implication being you couldn't care less for any of the other information, you just want them dead. Might even tacitly encourage people toward genocide route if they realise they can beat fights fast that way.
Not exactly what you're talking about, but in Bioshock you can choose to either save or harvest the little sisters. By harvesting, you get more ADAM and become strong faster, but kill the children in the process and miss out on the good ending. By saving them you get less ADAM immediately but get rewarded with more ADAM in the long run, and you can achieve the good ending. If you harvest ALL of them touch though, the bad ending gets a little more evil tonally. Also, harvesting is much faster and easier than saving in Bioshock 2, so that's something that these two franchises have similar.
It's hilarious because in DELTARUNE there is a track called "Digital Roots" and a missing girl named December Holiday, which may or may not be stuck in a state of being neither alive nor dead Can't wait to discover who has prosopagnosia, my bets are on Sans

Man I remember when I used to binge all 3 Streams every November on the Twitch Vod with chat, and then 2020 happened and all of those thoughts and comments were erased. It was a good 3 years...
And the only comment that I actually managed to save was "46 : 02 peacelovinghippie: 3rd time same dialogue over 3 days Kreygasm" which just hits so hard after all this time...😷
1:29:25 Whats the chance that this really was Toby?🤔
1:34:10 These Transitions are fucking fire wtf😩
1:41:18 Toby truly is the most unhinged dev for real...
1:42:55 One of the best and most easily missable things in UT, Tours and Music maaan...
1:44:10 Toby "Radiation" Fox at it again😖
1:57:32 The disappointment here, Jesus just cucked like that huh D:
2:02:29 Actually best part of Stream 2, just absolutely fucking amazing...💀
2:05:10 "They're going to clip this"
2:15:38 "Kissy Kissy Kitty Shitty Show" what a sentence...😑
2:19:10 *Loads Combat Shotgun menacingly* _On the 3rd day of UT, J0seph Anderson gaaave to meee-_
2:34:56 Jesus it really was time for an ethnic cleansing...💀
2:50:24 One of the best lines of Geno, just wtf-😷
2:53:40 The state of Meta in 2017😖
3:02:57 ALL fucking day huh? Kappa
3:07:10 Ahhh Sunshine in 2017, what a world...😑
3:11:03 Real reaction monkaS 👍🏻
3:16:16 Meanwhile now in the 2020s this sure is fun to hear again, like theres anything left to be said about UT at this point in time haHAA
Thank you so much for editing these vods, they're definitely my favorite joeseph anderson streams ❤
This is an amazing highlight video, thanks for making this!
2:05:55
Hope this doesn't get clipped and spread around twitter.
I hadda screen record when I heard that 🤣
Thanks for making this! Loved these streams
Thank you for these lovely stream edits mr walrus!
1:09:55 so I went to the zoo the other day
It was awful
It only had one animal
It was a shizu.
spent the whole video smiling because it’s so nice to see joe be so joyful.
although regular joe is the goat
**Spoilers!**
You can tell he was really upset after undoing undyne. Poor baby Joe. :c
undoing
Shoelaces
The mystic walrus has uploaded once again~
This fills us all with determination~(◕ᴗ◕✿)
damn it only took him like 20 turns to beat sans. only took me like... 65...
Great Experience!
sans isn't lying about the 1 dmg 1 def thing
Joe's whole conclusion at the start of pacifist that the intended way to play the game is to get fed up with the mercy mechanics at some point in neutral and just fight the rest of the way really speaks to me. It really does feel like the intended path you're meant to take, especially considering how Toriel's fight is one of the only fights where the puzzle isn't obvious.
Joe didn't believe Sans about having a bad time. Joe had a bad time
It’s a shame he didn’t get to see what happened if he accepted sans’ mercy lol
The way he pronounced "Ngghhaaaaa" was very... unfortunate
LMAO
How is it meant to be pronounced?
@@spartan2867nnnnnguh, or honestly anything is better than how he said it bros a hairsbreath away from saying the N word
2:04:50
I spit out my drink.
caught in 4K 📸
1:52:07 Aww Joe hell naw
Thanks for these, these are dope
2:05:54. Joe you can't say that
LMAOOO (im unoriginal)
YOU ARE AMAZING !!!
This really takes me back, i feel like a lot of people could learn a lot about how influential undertale really was by watching this video.
It really changed indie games in gameplay, writing, and music, into something we take for granted nowadays.
"whoops I have to go to the bathroom" _jumps out the window_
Hey wait a goddamn minute
god this was so long ago
Such pure joy. Oh sweet man
much appreciated
Flowey being a multiverse timeline jumper who goes on a nihilistic rage?
Damn, Undertale took a lot from Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Even if EAAO came first, I think it's more just that when a character is immortal/unkillable, and has power over reality, it's very possible to fall into believing nothing matters.
I misread" everything everywhere all at once" as "everywhere at the end of time" and was wondering wtf does undertale have to do with dementia
Or Mother 3. Toby took a lot from this game tbh
@@Ziel23987 imo mother 3 is better, but undertale itself is great
1:59:13 hi said "Wait Bl-" and that caller say things like a Napstablook...
If you dig lore a bit more - you can notice... Some connections with Blooky and Metaton
It’s insane how can there be a comedic timing and jokes just in text. This game
waffles is an omega level multi game entity
Sans is literally only doing one damage. You just get hit… a lot XD
3:16:16 streamer and his streamer lie
amazing editing :)
Damn i wish his reaction to the first "but nobody came" in genocide was in the video💔
6:02 I love the way he says this because it implies there are two commonly known uses for snails
Anyone got a time stamp for him meeting *Lesser Dog?*
Edit: 12:37 nvm I got confused and was searching through the pacifist and genocide routes not the neutral route
Seeing an old man as joe playing undertale makes my soul happy
Love these videos sm
2:13:45 Kirby players: 😐
Oh, thank you! That was my favorite streams of his. Subscribed!
P.S. Maybe you will do an Expirience vid on Lisa: The Painful streams?
I love the idea of a world where your level of hatred/killing intent towards someone affects your strength against them, wish they'd used that more.
Joe is like uh....he's married with kids right? But I mean given the right guy he *would* right?
left out the moment where he encountered a fun event
i love his reaction to sans.
Best Joe streams are Joe reads the game streams.
8:30 fun fact about that: it is just a sped up sound byte of Patrick Star (yes that one)
Source?
@@Winasaurus a lot of the internet there's a lot of places that say it
"What kind of millenial monsters are these?" is so underrated
One of the funniest games I've ever played - the creativity is astonishing ❤
It's been a while since I've watched a video 3 hours in a row
Wait what did you say at 1:52:07. Joseph you can't say that anymore.
absolutely amazing edit, will definitely be watching all of your supercuts
He loves it!
I never played a Genocide run. I has some Nine Nine Nine vibes
It's hilarious because in DELTARUNE there is a track called "Digital Roots" and a missing girl named December Holiday, which may or may not be stuck in a state of being neither alive nor dead
Can't wait to discover who has prosopagnosia, my bets are on Sans
2:36:15 little does he know how far this will go....
5 minutes in, just making a call. If chat or whoever gets on his ass for not doing the "TrUe pLayThRoUghH" instead of just letting him play the game and let HIM see what his actions cause, then ill say the f word
Edit: ok nvm
it was a huge problem with so many youtubers when this game was mega popular, and it really ruined it. Glad joe got the full experience without people being annoying
truuee. Joe managed to have one of the freshest undertale runs I have ever seen.
1:52:24 Joseph Anderson Says N-Word LIVE! crowd goes CRAZY
they give you a 99 defense weapon that reduces all damage taken to 1, and sans just does 1 damage (per tick)
they give you a 99 dmg weapon, but you gotta hit him first
36:35 No that's wrong!
2:04:25 _waffles dadapon has entered the chat_
