What happens when a high-stakes surgery clashes with courtroom drama? The defendant, a renowned surgeon, failed to appear in court, leaving the judge furious. The defense attorney explained that the doctor was stuck in the operating room due to an emergency surgery delay. But the judge wasn’t buying it! Furious, the judge ordered law enforcement to escort the surgeon straight from the operating table to the courtroom the moment the surgery ended. Justice waits for no one-not even a life-saving surgeon!

Emergency surgery is never ever scheduled 📅, the judge 👨⚖️ and D A should both be sanctioned, and the parents of the baby 👶 called to give evidence against both of them.
So this surgeon is never on vacation. Always standby. 😂 lol doubt.
It was scheduled, just went longer than expected.
And contact every Newsedia entity
But how is it fine to have someone who is on trial to perform something as risky as a heart surgery? As they pointed out - it is illegal indeed, no matter what the emergency is.
@mattiasw.5846 my son's dental surgeon was on vacation when something happened he left his vacation to fix the problem and went back. Some doctors usually are on call for their patients 24 7 especially pediatric doctors.
So all that Doctor needs to do is not put down his scalpel and arrive to court in operation room attire 😂
he did because he was arrested by cops and the judge was angry that the doc did arrive in the surgery attire...
@gecko2.617 I did watch that part in another short and honestly Judge is an Ahole through and through.
👍👍👍
@@gecko2.617 That particular judge always seems angry...can't be good for his heart. Might need a cardiac surgeon, in the not to distant future. 😅
@@davidharshman7645 Thankfully One is already present in the Court 😂
This doctor is doing life-saving surgery on a baby for the past 5 hours and if for some reason the da and the judge would have taken him out immediately and the baby dies that's murder on their behalf
It's not tho, babies die eveyday, this dosnt give the doctor any right to be absent. This is court, if the goverment orders you you do something you must do it.
👍👍👍
@@00009kuba Their a certain legal guidelines that can excuse a person from being in court. A life threatening situation is one of those.
The judge says to arrest him after the surgery so it's not that heartless
@@00009kubaYOU ARE HORRIBLY WRONG "babies die everyday" so that INNOCENT BABY deserves to die? Is that your logic? That CHILDREN DESERVE TO DIE? Because that is LITERALLY what you are saying.
Its really funny that a judge who certainty has a lot less value than a doctor thinks he can judge a professional who is performing a life saving surgery to save kid .
Dang these judges should know their place.
Also the Jury should absolutely not be here for this.
Corruption at it's best conducts court with emotion instead of logic and law
Too bad he followed the law to the letter in this instance.
Ah yes, a surgeon is going to risk a child's life and endanger his career and ability to continue his practice just to look good in court. Sounds about right.
Isn’t this the same judge that gets fired from his position for punishing a convict for no reason?
This is why judges should never have this much power
He is to have the surgeon brought to court as soon as he ( surgeon ) puts down his scalpal. Ok
And the baby has some type of trauma.
Now what?
Judges up hold the law.
Doctors uphold life.
Doctors outrank judges.
It's the other way. Law trumps medicine every time
@bunnyhop-84 you can have a life without law
You can't have law without life
It's simply primacy
@@oaf-77a life without law? Its laws that stop someone from just taking everything you have because they feel like it. Laws that provide justice should someone steal away your young daughter’s innocence. Without laws, we exist. With laws, we live.
@@bballbeasty yes, life is better with laws, but laws are meaningless to the dead. Humanity was born into a lawless world and lived and grew before the codification of laws, so yes life can exist without laws.
@@bunnyhop-84its not about social ranking , its about value
Didn't this judge end up being corrupt af
Judge no longer understands, "For the People."
He's a judge, nit an ambulance chasing lawyer
This judge needs to be arrested
So petty can't they issue a lot of continuance? There should be other hearings 🤔
This is where there put law before a child's life
AND this is why vigilantism will eventually rise and become part and parcel of every day life. Its also why judges, lawyers and the entire judicial system isnt trusted at all to even tie their own tie.
Because you watch a show that isnt representative of real life and decided that the same average moron on the street is the best person to be making large scale decisions
@@conradlorgar5508It’s not entirely inaccurate. This kind of stuff happens all the time. The letter of the law often supersedes the spirit of the law such that laws meant to help people can, and are, used to cause undue harm or stress. I disagree that we’ll see a rise in vigilantism though. More likely, I think we’ll see several reforms, whether caused by protests or violence, I don’t know, but it probably won’t just be vigilantism.
In Luigi We Trust.....
@@conradlorgar5508no different than some random idiot in a chair what flavour are the states balls today?
Surgery can be dangerous.
Subjecting someone to a lengthy surgery unnecessarily would violate a doctor's hippocratic oath.
He was innocent and the surgery went long. What was he supposed to do? Let the baby die?
In reality the defense attorney would have talked to the district attorney, and the judge would just pick another trial date.
You are ignorant. 5 hours for cardiac surgery is very common.
@@anthia1156 even longer ❤
And with that the entire trial has to be either redone or that panel of Jurors will be heavily biased (as would I) in defense of the doctor. I think they're often snobs and the system is too expensive but that does not change the fact that he is likely saving a little child from death.
Put this man in jail please.
This show is too unrealistic for me to care about its outcomes. Make your setting somewhere in the past or in a different country because I’m tired of the crazy misrepresentation of our justice system.
This is why everyone hates lawyers
I don't believe this will ever happen in real life!! The judge just in Huge Law suit and Judicial Ethic Violation at the very least!!
It would not happen in real life.
Please tell me the doctor showed up in court still in surgery attire, gloved hand (presumably handcuffed) and with blood stains still visible, just to drive the point home. Oh, and that the judge was removed from his position, as unlikely as that is.
Arrogant judge.
What happened to innocent till proven guilty? 😮
That's still the case but he is legally required to show up to court
That was gone along time ago.
@@bunnyhop-84he’s in the middle of surgery and unless that judge wants to be liable for manslaughter he will reschedule
Ego is dangerous
Jury - He shows up with medical scrubs and blood on his chest...wanna get pizza on the way home? We could get him some wings? He's probably hungry after 5 plus hours.
a surgery started at what 6 in the morning? its by no means scheduled
"I'm really not feeling court on that day. Want to have heart surgery at 4 am?"
Wrong.
Even if it werent a scheduled surgery the patient is a four month old baby, how likely is it that another surgeon skilled and knowledgable enough on this baby would pick up on the case before the baby dies? Four months old is still a crucial period for a baby, that thing could very well die if it isn't the top priority.
Fact of the matter is the doctor placed his patient's safety over his own.
Shooter McGavin is a judge?
He eats pieces of sh*t for breakfast?! 😮
There’s not a realm in hell deep enough
RUclips has been showing her taking NOTHING but Ls 😂
Ego 😂much? These non medical people upset me .
It's a movie.
Ya sure. Just take a photo when sherif puts the cuff on the doctor.
It is gonna be a carnival on every single news in the country tmr
Is that Shooter McGavin?
LOL- just scrolling for a paragraph person and end up reading opinions like this is happening in real life
Same judge who got sued for racism. He isn't good at all. Luckily it's a show unfortunately it still happens
Another reason why Judicial immunity needs to be abolished. If a judge acts like this they should be liable for lawsuits and charges so they can be put in prison if they do the wrong thing.
Please tell me this judge eventually gets his karma, all these shorts of him piss me off lol
Money and appearance will always trump you and your children. Never forget that.
It’s show is visual rage bait 😂😂
Unpinched Turd Judiciary.😢
Good for TV drama but a bit unrealistic. I hope.
Shooter McGavin…
The most heartless judge and DA need to be disbarred from their jobs because of their egos and arrogance putting their selfs above a child's life !!!!
Good luck getting away with this now. All it takes is one post on social media
If only Ms. florick didn't pull all kinds of shenanigans, maybe she'd have gotten the benefit of a doubt. But she does lots of scummy tricks for her mostly scummy clients.
He is on trial and should have never been on call for surgery
It's possible he's the only one who could do it. Infant heart surgery is way more complicated than on an adult.
Pretty sure someone life trumps a trial for a non violent crime.
I dont like this ahow
Be a surgeon. Not being able to manage your calendar.... give me another one pls
What part of "the surgery is running long" did you miss? Cardiac surgery is pretty much second only to neuro for complexity, doubly so for high risk patients like infants. Hell 8-12 hour cardiac surgeries are not uncommon for intensive procedures and unexpected complications.
