Your video about the new DRL installation was pretty much what convinced to the point of going the 350 over the F, sure Id prefer the F, but realistically what I do, doesnt require the F over 350, or even 250 to be honest. Def can get one much quicker as well.
I’m comfy daily driver with my 09 250 I go 80mph top on freeway to work that’s it. In my opinion. 350 or ISF for much more fun about 10 miles to work? Not needed for me. I’m fine with my 250. 95k mikes 9 years old. Not a single problem pulls same as new. Regular maintenance and no synthetic here..regular oil and mid gas...no need for premium...09 is250 does not require synthetic...but my only gripe...is with any IS model older I’m assuming is the fast wear of inside tire...don’t know why that is...the inside of tire always wear faster...but other than that...everything is still original in my 09 Car...9 years old and still going....not a hiccup!

I’m also in the Susquehanna Vally area (Lancaster), maybe see you guys around. My other car is an ‘03 Neon SRT-4. It’s a bit quicker than the ISF, and I’m torn between selling the SRT to buy mods for the ISF or just keep the ISF stock and continue modding the neon.... it’s a harder decision than it would seem.
Hey Martin, got a quick question for ya since you seem to be one of not many people with access to that generation of 350 and F. Do you notice a difference in headroom between the IS350 and IS-F? I like to sit up straight, and I'm also 6'3" - I test drove an IS350 (with the moonroof - I've heard that reduces headroom), and I had to open the moonroof cover and tilt my head through it or lean the seat way back to sit in the thing. I've heard the next-gen (2013+) IS has more room, and the ones without the sun/moonroof have more room as well, but I'm having trouble finding one without the roof. (who wouldn't want a moonroof? :| ) I might be open to expanding my budget to get an F, but I'd want to fit in it. Any observations?
This is a unique one I never get to talk about! Being in both, I feel like the seats are about the same with how low to the floor they can go. Maybe the F goes lower since it doesn't have the cooling fans? But it definitely is hard sitting up straight in either. The seats are less bulky and bolstery on the non-F car, so that may help. Either way, you're kinda looking out of the top portion of the windshield as you are driving. My brother who is 6'3" has to open the moonroof cover as well, his hair just fits under it. The issue with this is that the A pillar becomes a bad blindspot. I'd see if you can find a base IS350 without the moonroof - that'll give you more headroom, possible lower seats without cooling fans? and less to spend!
@@MartyMotoring sounds good, thanks for the tip! I'm also curious if there's some extra metal somewhere on the seat mounts I can shave down, but that's a project. Anyway, I'll be looking for the non-moonroof base IS350 for the next little while, but they're a little hard to find. Everybody gets the moonroof. :( I'm just a couple hours south in VA, so if you happen to hear about a good non-moon base model for sale, I'll definitely buy it and hook you up with a finder's fee.
Its a good upgrade. I had an is350, and exchanged it for an ISF 3 years ago. Just hit 120k, and no major issues. Lexus service it for sure, they do the works for 100-200 bux per service. 60k and 120k services are the big ones at 1000.
I wouldn’t say it’s that different from many new cars lol. It is touch screen and works fine. There are different softwares you can run on it too. But if you mean the button design, well. That was almost the same layout for 8 years
I have a 2012 ISF and love it. 26Kmiles.. I have read where the RCF is heavier, and with more horsepower, but more weight, it is no faster. I also have read where many of the RCF owners are disappointed. They sure look nice and are 2 doors...

As far as look....I like the slick design of the IS250/350 more than the IS-F. The IS-F body looks weird to me. The front end is wider than the rear (not proportioned) and the bumpers are longer too. I believe 3 inches longer than the IS250/350. Yikes!

Test drive both before buying end up with the F it was worth the extra payment
Your truck or suv
Has to be a Toyota or Lexus
I agree with you
If you just doing lots of milage and a daily highway cruiser better to go with Is 350 it's cheaper to buy, cheaper on fuel maintainnce etc.
But if you don't do so many miles daily or have another car it's better to get ISF as a weekend or even now and then daily
Ahmed Moosaji It’ll definitely be Toyota or Lexus! And you got it - I spend less in gas and brakes 🤣
Marty Motoring you can get the rx350 as daily then get ISF for weekends or even the RCF
That would be awesome - to save money I think I will just continue paying the IS350 and get a cheap SUV/Truck
Your video about the new DRL installation was pretty much what convinced to the point of going the 350 over the F, sure Id prefer the F, but realistically what I do, doesnt require the F over 350, or even 250 to be honest. Def can get one much quicker as well.
HBD (late) and congrats on the weight loss dawg
I got My is250 2009 whit 2jz!!!!
Just got myself IS350 as a new project!!! Love this car!
I wish I could afford IS F. One day...!
I’m comfy daily driver with my 09 250
I go 80mph top on freeway to work that’s it.
KILL FLOYD why not have both lol I do
Damn this car is nice I was wondering which use car to buy as a Lexus I think I finally found what imma buy now .Thanks for the video!!
Also have Sienna 2000 and is350 2006. Sienna is a Tank!
Love my IS350 but really want that ISF
Great video mentioning all the differences between them. There's a lazy reviewer here who complained the ISF looks just the same as a regular IS and he had both cars together, looking at you Shooting Cars.
One popped up in my area with 140k for 18k is it worth it
dave harris what year
...KBB.com...
dave harris get it bro thank me later
Ya
They're still going for 18,000 all the way up to 40000 depending on year I've seen salvage titles going for as low as 14000 these cars unlike BMW and Mercedes do not depreciate but they are well worth every penny
With headers, aftermarket exhaust the IS-F comes to life and sounds like a beast!
why instead of a v8 they just didnt throw a twin turbo on a v6 is350 and called it a IS350F
Probably for reliability and longevity. Sounds like the upcoming models will be turboed
Is worth it over the IS350? By far it is.
Happy belated birthday!! Nice daily driver choice with the 350!! 👍
IS 4LIFE Thank you!
I have an 08 ISF! 124k Great car, Still running strong. Less than 2500 08 were shipped in so hang on to it. Get those lights on the dash taken care of, its a quick diagnostic. Even a jiffy lube will tell you what’s going on for free.
True that. My brother likes his ISF a lot still. The lights were just the AFS fuse and a leaking washer fluid reservoir
Is350 $10.000- isF $40000 big differences for only 2 cylinder more 🤔
The Lexus ISF is a very good car👍😁
is f is excellent now lol but can you find a good one like mine lol
Yep yep
Thinking about buying an ISF that was involved in accident, the two driver side doors need to be replaced forsure, do you guys know if the regular is350 doors would fit if i just switched the interior panels ?
Respect good job on weight loss. I owned Toyota sienna '99 and it was a perfect vehicle. Now I own Toyota Sequoia '06 and it's an absolute beast the best vehicle I have owned. My next vehicle will be a Lexus isf for sure what a beautiful ride and the combo of performance and luxury is just great. Thanks for the great content and cheers
I think the stock dampers are Sachs not Bilsteins. At least they are on my GS F.
My first time owning a sport sedan. I just bought an IS 350 about a week ago and damn this car is great and its super fun to drive. I love it.
I drove 4 hours round trip to pick up a silver 2010.5 ISF last year, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Great daily driver with a split personality.
They are awesome cars! Yeah, we will have to meet up sometime to do Lexus stuff 😂
Sell the neon and use that money and save and super charge your Lexus and make it into a beast
It’s a fucking neon. Get rid of that trash and enjoy your real car
I like the 350 and the F. Sadly I’m pathetic and have the 250 lol.
I wish they had lsd in the early models. I'm looking at a 08 but really wish it had lsd.
hi marty, did you lose 45 pounds or 45 hp..well done
:( I'm just a couple hours south in VA, so if you happen to hear about a good non-moon base model for sale, I'll definitely buy it and hook you up with a finder's fee.
mind i ask how tall are you? curious about the headroom
I am 6’1” and seat is to the floor
Isf
I own a 2010 ISF. The 300's-350's, a dime a dozen, plus I see a lot of women driving those... but the ISF super rare and boss.
I only know of one other 350, but yeah only 1 ISF around here. They are awesome for sure
Congrats on that loss
We aren't afraid to leave little rubber on the road ? I was expecting a skid!
Couldn’t do that to my brother’s tires 😂
I’m thinking of upgrading my IS350 to an ISF. Just doing my research first,
Its a good upgrade. I had an is350, and exchanged it for an ISF 3 years ago. Just hit 120k, and no major issues. Lexus service it for sure, they do the works for 100-200 bux per service. 60k and 120k services are the big ones at 1000.
me: shame it doesn't have manual
lexus: you don't need a manual
me: i don't need a manual
Truck Tacoma
Great comparison! Looking for one as a daily with roughly an hour commute. Would love the f, but not worth the fuel consumption in my scenario
Would get too many tickets if I owned an F
I agree......too much power for such a little car.
If you just look at spec sheets and prices it isn't worth it. Once you sit in one and drive it everything changes.
So true
thanks for comparison.
How about Used Lexus IS 250? For a daily driving.
They are a good choice
Oh man that entertainment unit has not aged well. That ugly shit is a deal breaker. It’s a shame because the exterior is gorgeous!
I wouldn’t say it’s that different from many new cars lol. It is touch screen and works fine. There are different softwares you can run on it too. But if you mean the button design, well. That was almost the same layout for 8 years
YES...next question
A year late but wtf lmao “is it worth it” 🤦🏽♂️
People wonder
Does lexus still update maps for these older models?
Big mod... have an exhaust shop cut off the last set of cats if you want a great v8 sound that doesn't give you droning on the highway.
I really miss those cooled seats. Great review man. Glad to see your channel growing.
Thanks man!
IS-350 has a higher specific power and torque than the ISF although the latter has speed vs 6 speed. IS350 anyday, better value for money.
I’m happy with my IS 350
me too bro. 2012 lexus is350 f-sport
Smiles per gallon
Alex Aquino True
Why is there black smoke @ 3:23?
Ray L I think it’s from the cold start, any fuel sitting in the cats will get blown out. Also the stock tune runs rich.
Is F is pretty rare, im already bored of mines though. Ive been staring at the rc F for awhile hmmmmmm
What year is yours? How many miles, and are you the original owner? Shoot me an email with some info about yours.. muayboran@hotmail.com
I have a 2012 ISF and love it. 26Kmiles.. I have read where the RCF is heavier, and with more horsepower, but more weight, it is no faster. I also have read where many of the RCF owners are disappointed. They sure look nice and are 2 doors...
@@zalepletcher730 they're disappointed becuase they thought I'd would be faster. But it's a great car that's reliable. Especially compared to its competitors.
Im hoping to get an ISF real soon
ISF ALL DAY
100 percent bro.
Got the same birthday! And I’m live an hour east of Pittsburgh
Nice!!
I have one for my daily and think that I now only need this one car.
ISF is a solid sedan
Is this car worth 30k with a salvage title
As far as look....I like the slick design of the IS250/350 more than the IS-F. The IS-F body looks weird to me. The front end is wider than the rear (not proportioned) and the bumpers are longer too. I believe 3 inches longer than the IS250/350. Yikes!
I’d be interested to race an IS350 with my GS460, I got blown away by an ISF on the highway. No idea if it was modified in any way
The ISF is pretty quick thanks to the horsepower and gearing. It always pulls away from my IS350, but I’d be curious how I’d fare against the GS460
The gs460 has the same 8 speed automatic transmission the gs460 also only comes rwd it must be a monster at roll racing
If your getting free money , you can pay the 300% mark up and have zero buyers remorse
If you earn your money , you will feel like a piece of shit dropping 300% for just an engine upgrade
Let me answer this for your viewers.... FUCK YESS IT IS. lol. I own both at the moment. The F is a whole different beast.
#Teamlexus!
My IS350 is shifting back gear when I push accelerator too, why yours isn't? Plus it have vent. and warm seats.
is250, because, car = £3000, insurance = £2500, Mods = £1000 not bad. x"D
I'm about to pull the trigger on either a ISF ,gs360 or 460L, what your opinion on what year of each is less problematic. I'm buying used up to 2013
Wait so when your IS350 is in drive it does nothing when you hit the paddles? My IS250 will let me down or up shift. But my IS250 is a 2009.
You forgot to leave rubber on the road
Tires are too expensive lol
333 likes and 33 dislikes. :^O
does this car have a cold air intake and if so what brand?
One in my area with 135k for 17.9k in white and 2008. should i buy or wait for another to pop up??? Will it be reliable as a daily with this many miles??
August 1 is my birthday too
