Foreigners dating Koreans here is extremely common. But does seem to be a lot more Korean girl with foreign guy than the other way around.

So ghosting is a natural and acceptable thing! That is so interesting! Great video :)
Not quite ghosting in the sense that you completely ignore the person, but similar in that you stop dating suddenly and respond less frequently to messages. But it is quite different from American culture.

Definitely westerners do act "cute" like with pet names and such. But some are less cutesy than others

I think I'm way too old for dating a Korean guy..... Even though I'm familiar with there dating culture. If you go back in US history the dating culture was very similar to what the Korean dating culture is. Some American families have strict dating rules. Like for me I wasn't allowed to have a serious boy friend until I was 18 years of age or older. I was 22 when I had my first serious boy friend. In some respects I think my father has a smidge of Korean mindset in him. 🤔
I heard the norm of the Korean culture is to be in a dating relationship. Like there are shops, cafe and other couple related activities (couple locks?). Was this your experience? Is it socially awkward to be single (or weird to sit at a cafe by yourself?)
