The grapple is really good for not getting booped off (though it will happen, a lot), and the titan's barrier has the ability to instantly tie up tormentors (along with anything else caught in the wave), which are the biggest threat outside of Calus. Once the first third of Calus' healthbar is done, he'll spawn a tormentor. Hold off on damaging Calus so he doesn't spawn the next one yet. Break the tormentor's shoulder pads, and as soon as his chest weak spot opens up, pop your barrier to tie him up, leaving him completely open to hit his weak spot with your shotgun. You should be able to get him to finisher range and kill him with no hassle. Do the same thing for the second tormentor, and make sure you kill it before you move onto Calus' phase 2, because tormentors don't despawn like normal ads during phase change. At this point for phase 2, just run around keeping poison up on Calus and hitting him with your machine gun when you're far enough way. This fight kinda sucks ngl. You can use witherhoard if you want but I think tormentors are immune to its effects, at least for their shoulderpads phase, so I didn't use it. Also, anytime you have your super, use it on calus. It breaks his overshield really quick and he's really the only one worth using it on unless you're in a real tight spot and need to save yourself from a mob of ads.

Light fall was a prep for final shape? How did you not know that
@@ncwhit my dude, who cares if its prep? It did nothing to answer anything even when we are like 10 feet away from it.
Everyone knows what the Veil is but we can’t even get a answer for the audience to know what it is?
Even the Guardian knows what the veil is
I’d imagine if you read the lore books your questions would be answered. We purposely aren’t given the purpose of the Veil as it’s supposed to be vital in TFS. Bungie never said anything about this DLC being the end all be all. It’s like a part 1 to a two part series. That was the goal and it was accomplished.
@@obscurit_y4536 nah
@@applenewmoon4402 Yes.
Last mission in this expansion is the most fun destiny mission ever.
I totally agree and I see everyone saying it’s complete ass which is bonkers
and actually challenging
Nah the last missions is garbage, way too hard on Legendary difficulty.
@@skully5071 thats what makes it fun
@@skully5071 ? its braindead easy
I got a question did you like already buy it beforehand or was it free the day came out I currently can only play the just that first mission That's it
"i just watched 5 hours of cutscenes, im bout to watch more" proceeds to skip literally the next cutscene 30 seconds later
How do i continue playing or do "The journey" quest i was playing yesterday on geforcenow but when i launched it today im confused how to continue.
Ghost: “Wha- What just happened?”
The Destiny Community: “We have no friggin idea.” 🤷🏻♂️
This campaign was honestly more fun than Witch Queen. Using Strand and fighting the tormentors really kept my blood pumping! The 3rd, 6th, and final missions were probably the hardest for me.
Dude I had to do Calus alone cause I don’t have friend that play destiny and I was stuck in it for 8 hours in total
That last boss solo was a bitch and a half but i was using strand, I fucked with it tbh
Do I have to pay for the campaign? I couldn't get passed one point when it gave me the chance and now I can't find the mission for it.
Final boss, 2 man easy time with hammers and thundercrash and a linear and anarchy between us. Just listened to my friends killing each other over the fight. It's great.
Ahhhh it's 5 am, why must you be so goated.
In the decryption of clalus they talk about why he’s so dangerous who is the one in between Keitel and Gaul he’s whereing black armor?
Cmon man i was 3 mins into the video and just died "All hail plankton"
Pacing could've been better. Felt rushed compared to WQ. Strand felt forced yet too restrictive in missions, similar to Beyond Light, but infinitely more fun than Stasis imo. And I don't think I'm alone in saying this but, "Headlong" was such an out-of-place and bad mission.
“The final shape is a triangle” 💀💀💀
In solo legendary campaign, Lucky pants malfeasance combo one mags the tormentors.
New tough enemy! Quick! Find a way to make them easy! "DAMMIT THIS GAME IS BORING ITS TOO EASY"
We’ve been fighting for an Doritos this whole time….
Love that everyone who has Strand did it with a team. Meanwhile I'm stuck on Calus Solo Legendary 😭
Honestly you can probably just spam witherhoard and run away with strand if you kill the tormentors before the second phase
@@BlankBlonk literally exactly what I did lol just occasionally shot a rocket as well. On warlock the strand super also helped a lot for the burst and add clear because there was pretty much no time to stop running
You don't need to use strand for that fight as well. Did it solo void hunter and witherhoard. invis and running clockwise on the platforms shooting witherhoard when I could.
I didn't even thing of my Void 3.0 Build *facepalms* I went back to a Stasis Build with the New Bow. And I was a witherhoard main for 2 seasons before it got nerfed into the ground 😭 but it is a solid option.
@NamesAreHard yeah I did the same on hunter with a demo vorpal hothead..really didn't need the demo part because of the thread of ascent thingy
Calus was the hardest Solo Legendary shit i’ve ever done. My GOD!
Final shape will be taniks
Not scared of a witness that only used the reality stone once 💀
Yeah but that wasnt an illusion. The guardian died
i am bruh, we haven’t seen anything of his power yet (hopefully)
@@wizardking1610 we haven't, the part where he gets mad at Calus you can see his shadow growing to a huge size.
“So the final shape is a triangle. At least we got our answer 😏”
Well one thing's for sure: they definitely didn't over-deliver on this train. Good job Justin Truman, I can't even begin to imagine how much you held the team back to release this in this state. Really impressive work.
Still haven't finished the campaign - Desperate Measures left to go. Current Power Level: 1821.
I'll get around to it.
Felt like the Strand campaign
Y'all actually made it so much harder for yourselves by not using strand in the boss
What is the name of the shader Sweat has ? In the last cutscene it looks really nice how it switches colours.
Photo finish
I didn't even shoot those tormentors that were next to Calus
The problem I have is that the ads spawn just way too fast
The only thing so far is like changed is to stop tormentors from being blinded. Really deletes the threat they’re suppose to pose
Or jump on top of a platform
Yeah it ruins watching the fight aha
The Calus boss fight … BRUH . That was the Best fight since forever. Especially when soloing in Legendary .
I disagree. The enemies respawning jusr doesnt calue your time at all imo. Makes it much ahrder as you are always beijg fired and if yoy kill them they jsut come back making ti a waste of tien. Wanted to solo the whole campaign but wow that calus fight
@@cbandit7715 you’re just bad at solo. Admit it 🤡😂
@@mrsalty8050 nah i can all of witch queen and loghrfall solo wothout solar 3.0 on titan but that fight just was so had right when i killed all the enemies and i couod foght the tormenters they started to respawn and my time was wasted i respect you for doijg it solo though also i just didnt understand how to fight tormenters that good yet i tried only usijg rockets which are not food agaisjt them
Machine guns melt tormentor health bars, for the campaign used retrofit escapade
bro, i kept getting confused because modern sounds so much like Evan
Anyone know what ornament he has on and how to get it??
The witness is shaped like an hour glass from behind.
sweat's fireteam is exactly why I run solo legendaries
Yup. Bunch of bots who are never really present they just rush stuff
i dont know how, but i wqas 1748 for the boss in my run. didnt do any power grinding or anything haha
The intro felt like The Taken King opening
Does anyone know the name of the shader sweat is using??
