John good to hear your voice again. Sounds like pretty organised, I was always taught told if your van is clean and tidy that looks good to your clients. And a clean and happy site is a very very safe site.
I use a lot of Milwaukee gear too, and I have had the exact problem with the chucks of the drills. They always slip or jam and the clutch is often quite quick to go. The newer range is much better as you say, when you pull the trigger you can feel the torque, jolts the drill slightly! I also have experience with those safety knives as they were brought in at work as a replacement.. different brand but same design. I laughed and threw it in the sea (dockyard). They’ve been kept as there have officially been fewer accidents using those useless contraptions than a proper knife. Would recommend the standing tripod lights if you can fit one in. Bigger batteries though
Ha! Classic workzone handle moment ! Brilliant. I have an Aldi table saw, absolutely brilliant even though it scares the sh1t out of me every time I use it. Can't fault the cuts though. Good to hear for you John and thanks for the tour, good to see.
Dude, that milwaukee vacuum is the best 89 bucks I've ever spent... saves a ton of time. Milwaukee packout system is great. I'm watching from Texas in the states. I found your channel from your guitar build video and you've since gotten me interested in woodworking with hand tools. Loved this video though. I'm in the security business, (cameras, access systems, alarm and fire, intercom systems) I never thought about building shelves for my van. Thanks for the idea sir!
HI John.....greetings from Michigan in the States. I have similar problem with seeing the screen in bright light. I made a hood the extends out over the screen to keep it in the shade. I keep it in place using one of those rubberized base shot filled GPS bases. Stay safe!
Love your Channel John, I've just recently went out on my own as an Electrician/ Carpenter in South Dublin, so finding your videos very helpful for both Electrical and Carpentry.
Forgive me John I did laught out loud when the handle snapped, hilariously funny. But, we know exactly what you mean. You've earned another Subscriber.
Great video, John. Subscribed for the carpentry videos at first and discovered you're an electrician. I qualified as a sparks myself years ago but never stuck at it full time. Doing something different now but love watching videos like this. I still do the odd bit of sparking here and there for friends and family (the odd socket or light fixture replacement) so like to keep up to date with regs, materials, tools etc. Do you follow any youtuber sparks in England? Tom Nagy, Nick Bundy, Artisan etc? Regs are a bit different there but I like their content. Not sure if any Irish sparks has a channel...yet.
Every week I swear I’ll cut down the amount of stuff in the van, but I respond to fault and I always fear being stuck for stuff 🙈 so stuff just seems to sneak back in and fill up the van again!
Kind of scary the amount we load into the back of our vans. I'd be fuming if someone empied it again. I try to unload and carry only what I think I need. A bit crappie because I find that I've unloaded something required for that particular job. My only qualm with my crafter is parking can be a pain. Great setup pal 👍, get yourself some van vault sliders worth the initial investment.
Nice van tour, I have a few bits of Kewtech, they seem ok for the price bracket they are in. To be honest, I think all the testers have their own quirks. I have two testers at my disposal to cover items in for repair / calibration. Erratic readings can be due to poor quality or worn out test leads / jacks on the instrument.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Excellent video of your van contents but did you fit extra security. I would be worried carrying all that equipment. I know you will have insurance but it’s the delay from theft to payout and then re-equip it’s the lost days of work that hurt.

Yes. It feel like ages since we have seen you John. So excited new video.

john: it's just gone from lashing rain to roasting hot. thats Ireland for you
me: its also Auckland weather as well.
Your the only sparks in the country who knows how to turn on a hoover, never mind carry one with you,
You wouldn't be suggesting that Sparks don't clean up after themselves now would you?

You are most welcome
I went backwards with multi tool. Went from Dewalt cordless back to Fein wired. Much less vibration on hands.
Yeah, we find the dewalts vibration is more than the blade.

Pretty interesting indeed, John! 😃
I really liked how you organized the van!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Great video keep them coming did you ever think of a cable reel holder mounted on the bulkhead over the vacuum to keep the reels off the floor.
Could you do a video of your Multifunction Tester, great video as always 👍

I have to tidy it every week or it would be full!
Thank you for sharing John, that's been really useful.
Lol every Spark has a cheap SDS Kango. I have a £50 Screwfix Kango that's lasted years.
Great video lad, fair play

Love the accent
Loved the handle breaking moment, made me laugh so much after you had given that embarrassing tool a hard time. 🤣🤣🤣
😁
