Inside the tail end where the yoke goes into the transmission there's like a bushing or sleeve you can't see it unless you disassemble it but I was just wondering if you have that on yours
Yeah the slip yoke tube sleeve, I replaced that on my 4l60e before the swap. But yeah I don’t think it does have one, I don’t remember ever removing one when we rebuilt my 4l80e.
I'm looking at getting a circle d 2800 to 3000 stall converter it's a 300mm size will that fit the new flexplate that you have on your truck cuzz I ordered the same one for mine
You put the rear main seal in backwards I did my first couple like you did if you read on the seal it will say in really small writing air side or this side out and when you put the rear cover on you don’t have to do anything but push it on no pushing the lip seal out to get it over the crank
Damn, you are right. We thought so felt a little weird, it’s been a while since the last one. We looked around and didn’t see anything I guess we missed it, so we decided to put it in how it came out which means someone replaced it before us and put it in backwards too 😂. We’ll just run it like that and see how it goes, if we have to we’ll do a new one but let it run for now. Appreciate the heads up bro. 👍
cost can depend on what route your going whether an NA build or boosted, but since im boosting mine it was pricey , so far i’ve spent about $2300, most expensive was the stall at $1300
Already bought my trans. Now I’m just waiting for my 4lslippy to break and will be following in your footsteps here
waiting for it to break 🤣

I think it should but I’m not 100 percent sure, I would double check the bolt pattern on the converter to see if it matches.
