I'm wondering if the Titan was ever monitored and if it had regular maintenance and if documented... what does it say.

On dive 80 there was a loud bang as it surfaced. That bang was never investigated, the hull was never tested. I think that answers most of your question

The amount of time to failure may have been longer but it still would have failed at some point.
