I am worried that whenever Grier tries to look smart, he actually looks stupid. Just like when he delayed signing Christian Wilkins his contract actually got larger. Till finally Grier submitted and said CW bet on himself but he couldn't get the numbers to fit. Another mistake was when Grier caved and gave in to Xavier Howard's contract demands just after giving another CB to a top CB contract. Why do you cave in to someone just because he feels slighted? Now, Grier tries to look smart again with all these bonuses when Grier never gave priority to draft some immediate impact starting players to protect Tua. I am worried Tua will balk at the notion when Grier himself acts so nonchalant. Why should Tua take responsibility when Grier never did anything to ensure his protection? Tua has done everything in his capacity with all the offseason workouts. Why should he take responsibility in a game that injuries can happen anytime? Tbh, I think it's a stupid idea. The whole idea of a guaranteed contract is you take the responsibility off the table. Tua has shown he is willing to do anything in his power to stay healthy. Why do you play the blame game? Tua has a stable family life and doesn't engage with masseuse. Tua trains each offseason. Grier makes comments like fans are too worried about the O-linemen when they are ranked so low in the ratings. Dolphins has had to scheme offensively so Tua has to get rid of the ball under 4 seconds. Yet, Grier has done nothing to improve that. Sure, you can do that with UDFAs while other teams like Charger draft a premier OT. Grier should be fired just for attempting to do this.
I think that it is an issue with Tua because he is such an uncertainty. If he played all in and had performed well in the clutch games, this wouldn't have been a debate. I actually think that if Tua wasn't so black/white it would be an easier case for him. Like he could have had some off games here and there fine, but it was always the important ones where he gave next to zero effort. It feels like he can't handle the pressure and that makes him mediocre and a tough one to bet it all on.
I find it really commicle when I read Tua can't stay healthy do we hear the same about Joe burrow Tua has played more games then Joe has and all the so called missed games for Tua are not even injury related ppl forget he had a Dbag coach that wouldn't play him so ppl need to come up with more then Tua can't stay healthy
I love the Dolphins but not a Tua fan. He is fun to watch but he really has not taken the team anywhere. We are not talking about winning a superbowl. Tua can't really even beat above .500 teams, he fails in cold weather, never won a playoff game, gets injured.
So tuna has only played two seasons out of three and can’t win any big games hummmmmm not an elite quarterback so win are we going to get a real quarterback
I I believe this is the future of contracts in any position
Agree on the idea of bonuses, and at the same time make him the highest APY QB, including bonuses
All QB’s should be in incentives
Skylar Thompson time!

is it good to make bonuses for playing all season
He’s one hit away from being out of the league…..
Tuas ability to stay healthy , run the hole play book and carry the team when playing good teams. Is Tua elite?
Smart move by the Dolphins
I'm still not 100 percent in on Tua
I think he's a liability more than an asset
Smart move by fins office.
And they should protect theirselves 1:39
Why is it only a issue paying a quarter back when it comes to Tua and not other quarterbacks give me a f’n break

Smart way of teams, holding their salary cap down by not paying 50 $40 million a year for a player
Seems to me this is smart- I do however think Tua won’t bite- Is this the beginning of stormy weather at Fins camp

No QB is any good if you don't protect him

If the Miami Dolphins give this worthless quarterback an extension I pray to God that it backfires on them😊

Tua shrank in all the Big games last season. Until he proves he could win those Big games, he doesn’t deserve a big contract.
Name the games he shrank in......
@@babyimastunna Watch football much?
tuna is a bum
